QFA: "Mel's Appliance Shop, 3811-A Tamiami Tr.
Army-Navy Fashions, 3811-B Tamiami Tr. (Original arrest Wednesday night)
Vacant business, 3805-A Tamiami Tr.
D&D Dog Grooming, 3805-B Tamiami Tr.
B&G Sandwich Shop, 3805-C Tamiami Tr. - silentdragoon, on 10/04/2008, -1/+22Life imitates GTA.
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -12/+32I believe they mistakingly used the photo of the officer that arrested him because that's a white guy there.
- liquisoft, on 10/04/2008, -1/+17And they call these "correctional facilities."
Really, all jails and prisons are just large ziplock baggies that keep the criminals inside from interacting with the world outside and manage to keep them from actually changing their ways. Oh, and those ziplock baggies cost billions of dollars a year. - Overcyn, on 10/04/2008, -1/+16racism is funny.
- StultusJuventus, on 10/04/2008, -0/+14I don't like it here. I'm tired of being afraid all the time. I've decided not to stay.
- alostreflection, on 10/04/2008, -0/+11What a lazy idiot. He breaks into businesses right next to each other over and over again and doesnt expect to get caught...
- CVL4317, on 10/04/2008, -0/+10He realizes that only in jail, he has someone to take care of him.
- Namco, on 10/04/2008, -0/+10I am offended by your overt ***** jokes.
- apophenic, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8Hah! Wife jokes.
- LordBacon, on 10/04/2008, -0/+8If we where in prison, i'd protect you in the shower. Highly Recommended A+++++++++++
- hokie47, on 10/04/2008, -0/+7Army-Navy and Fashion should never go together.
- CrackyJSquirrel, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6I will trade you four potatoes for your grain...
- Namco, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6Dugg for your insight and refreshing small town candor.
- wannarto, on 10/05/2008, -1/+7no. I think he learned something.
he just realized that the outside world nowadays is worse than jail. so he wanted to get back. - Tape99, on 10/04/2008, -0/+6If at first you don't succeed, try, try again
- HonestAbe, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5Really?? He got arrested right down the street from the prison? That would make a great story for the front page of Digg!
- funkyloki, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5Three violent felonies, just to clarify. And not if you commit, but if you are convicted.
- nichesiteexpert, on 10/04/2008, -1/+6Damn - this man has a short memory!
- Betogonza, on 10/04/2008, -1/+6We need more punishments than just spend over night.
- jpezzznuts, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5Sure... but hes no Henry Earl! http://www.monkeygumbo.com/wee/news/henryearl/
- TitaniumWarrior, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5His problem was forgetting to enter the cheat codes.
- mysticalone, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5I got these magical beans...
- HonestAbe, on 10/04/2008, -0/+5Penal labor.
- hansk, on 10/04/2008, -1/+5model citizen...
- hiPpymIck, on 10/04/2008, -1/+5EDIT
having RTFA
he might not be on parole or newly out of prison
so my comment is off topic - apophenic, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4***** yeah, Louis Theroux.
- joearchy, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4No S&M??
- Gee1004, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4He needs to be someone's bitch
- slvrbullet87, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4Stupidity was the cause of this crime... not money
- wexmajor, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4It's funny how stupid the people calling him stupid are. You seriously think he didn't expect to get caught? Obviously he wanted to go back for whatever reason.
Reminds me of the Amoeba Boys. Except in real life it's a lot easier to get thrown in jail. - reposado, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4True. But to be fair its almost impossible for big government to "correct" these people once their parents/friends/family/themselves failed correcting these criminals.
- fuzzmeister, on 10/04/2008, -0/+4Considering he was in jail for all of a day, I'm not sure about that.
- inactive, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3I used to live right near Port Charlotte... South Florida is home to some of the dumbest, white-trash, degenerate people- but it makes for great morons in the news.
- dhughes, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3 If I ever need an alias it will be Dudenhefer, possibly Conway L. Dudenhefer III
- v10vipe, on 10/05/2008, -0/+3real men of genius!
- inactive, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3He robbed a dog groomer? Hasn't he heard of liquor stores?
- Residents, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3You would think the very first thing someone would want to do is get the hell away from the building. Wouldn't you hate the site of the place after being locked in it? Then to just start the same ***** right in the parking lot. I will never cease to be amazed at the depths of stupidity some people have found.
- ChristmasPoo, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3Only in Florida does this happen.
- fuzzmeister, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3No, they actually don't call jails "correctional facilities". Those are prisons.
- barstegry, on 10/04/2008, -1/+4"Ahhhh Freedom, sweet free..."
"Put you hands on your head!!!!!!!"
"Ah dang." - BrassMonkey08, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3So how do we define what is "correct" and to what end do we go to change these people. The whole concept of a correctional facility infringes upon our intrinsic human dignity.
Seriously people, have you read Orwell's 1984? - fuzzmeister, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3Without the creation and enforcement of rules, society simply cannot be stable. You can't just allow people to go around doing whatever they want. Argue about a better way to 'correct', but you must either attempt to correct their behavior or keep them locked up.
- labortrials, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3BRILLIANT!
- parisinflames, on 10/04/2008, -0/+3i think dudenhefer may be a little sensationalized considering he's referred to as dedenhefer throughout the rest of the article except for the first time his last name is mentioned
- unitedkronos, on 10/04/2008, -2/+5Prison is better than having a real life for some people, that's the case in some places where criminals have more rights than the victims.
