  • Phoenixfury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The biggest problem with their advice in this segment is that multiple drives cause a lot of heat. I think they were likely thinking that was more cost effective at the time than buying a 80 gig hard drive.

    My best friend gives me a pretty hard time because I use 4 hard drives in my desktop PC. 2X40 gig in a raid array (SATA), 1 40 gig IDE, and 1 250 gig IDE. My PC is used as a gaming/media center PC, so believe it or not, I often run out of space. :)
