- robmilmel, on 03/15/2009, -3/+29"jewish children have always been gifted, if you don’t mind me saying so"
No, there's no bias from the writer. - Pake, on 03/15/2009, -4/+24“I think the whole chickpeas give a history of what the dish really is.”
This kid needs to be smacked a few times, as does the author for trying to over complicate food. Too many attempts at romanticizing their sentences, too little information conveyed in the process. - TheNyquilKid, on 03/15/2009, -0/+15It's not "Ape Tit." It's A Petit...never mind! Let's just go to "Animal Sounds" for $600.
- compgeek, on 03/15/2009, -3/+15He seems to know his stuff. Doesn't matter if he's 12 or 120 the kid seems to write an unbiased review and heck if I hadn't know he was 12 the writing style says mid 40's to me although this is not a bad thing in that the writing is very particular in it's descriptions of the food and the tastes he experienced.
keep up the good work David - alanocu, on 03/13/2009, -10/+2112 year-old boys who appreciate baba ghanoush and hummus, prefer moussaka instead of McDonalds, and yearn for the day they're old enough to take glorious drives to Holyoke, should be encouraged to ride their bikes outside, have snowball fights with their friends, get dirty, fall down and let mom put a band-aid on it - there's more than enough time to be a bad-ass and review the 7 course dinner that hungry people in Africa will never see.
- DrCyclops, on 03/15/2009, -2/+11Yeah, what exactly does that sentence even mean? THE ENTIRE DISH IS MADE OF CHICKPEAS.
- DurtyJ, on 03/15/2009, -1/+9I think this steak gives a history of what the cow was really like.
- Buckwyld, on 03/15/2009, -1/+9Tell me how the McNuggets are kid.
- ThraxyWaxy, on 03/15/2009, -1/+8he does if he's of middle eastern descent.
- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -0/+7I bet the kid will come out of the closet in about 5 years
- TwoKill, on 03/15/2009, -0/+6I actually thought the article was fun to read but I'm going to feel sorry for that kid when he quickly loses his childhood to his aspirations.
- Arlieth, on 03/15/2009, -0/+6This kid has a quality of 'attention'. When we're young, we're usually more interested in a variety of experiences, not a depth of them. Therefore, the details escape us because we're trying to get in as much new data as possible. However, he seems to have just as much interest in his depth of an experience (possibly because of his intelligence), and that's what makes him unusual.
Despite this, I still want to smack him. - tehknotte, on 03/15/2009, -0/+6wtf is this *****
- Zeroxysm, on 03/15/2009, -0/+5I love Hummus.
Oh no, end of world.
What the hell does enjoying a certain food have to do with friends?
Seriously. - K4Lic0, on 03/15/2009, -2/+6Biologically, are his tastes even developed yet?
- 45441, on 03/15/2009, -1/+5How annoying.
- joshjx, on 03/15/2009, -0/+3Entertaining story. I just wish there weren't 10 stupid pages. If the article was on 3, it would have been much easier to read....
Unfortunately, that's what all these "web-zines" are now doing, so I guess we'll just have to suffer :( - inactive, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2fishman, richman, fisher. hmm. whats wrong with this picture?
- FiestyPumpkin, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2What,s up with using commas as apostrophies' huh?
- Yarkz, on 03/15/2009, -2/+4http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/2008/10/27/112-hum ...
I know this pretty much says bury me but it relates and is more interesting to me than this article. - ctabone, on 03/15/2009, -5/+7Informative story with some excellent writing. Thanks for the submission.
- crushfan, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2In USA? Probably not. In the rest of the world? That's perfrectly normal because actual people don't live in a teenage comedy film.
Digg made me hate "the American way". Thank you. - omnithought, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2Anal Bum Cover for $200
and your mother's a whore, Trebek! - omnithought, on 03/15/2009, -0/+2That kid is going to turn into Anton Ego from Ratatouille.

- inactive, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1I lol'd at the website name, but as one of the whitest people in my area, I can honestly say that stereotypes for white people just don't work that well.
- foofightrs777, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1mmmmm Moussaka
- Kronich, on 03/13/2009, -0/+1Nuff said!! :-) totally agree
- diwanifa, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1How ironic that the photos for a story about a talented young person were shot by a guy named Bobby Fisher.
- copypastry, on 03/15/2009, -0/+1The sister site, watch-me-poop is good too, but you need a credit card number to look at it.
- LordVance, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1Because all food critics are over weight?
- Pake, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1That could work. e.g.: This steak is giving me bad gas, therefore the cow had a history of bad gas.
- jon30041, on 03/15/2009, -2/+2So, the sushi was kinda crappy, the crab legs were good but messy as hell, and the lobster was incredible?
Yeah, fixed. - TomboAhi, on 03/15/2009, -2/+2tongue-in-cheek mean anything to you?
- smemily, on 03/15/2009, -0/+0Stereotypes for any sort of people don't work that well. That's part of the joke.
- trainer, on 03/15/2009, -1/+1what a heap of *****

- Dan6963, on 03/15/2009, -3/+1I bet you could bribe him with a KitKat bar or a Chuck-E-Cheese pass.
- MeatMountain, on 03/15/2009, -5/+1Kids are only good for one thing.
- redskyformiles, on 03/14/2009, -7/+1does a 12 y/o American boy that eats hummus even have friends?
- s0m31john, on 03/15/2009, -11/+2"Le Petit Gourmet"
Oh god don't remind me of Le Petit Prince, reading that in French was torture. - lozengeoflove, on 03/14/2009, -13/+3TL;DR
