That's where the said picture is from. Frankly, I'm getting tired of people ripping Galactus photos from MUA and saying OMFG! Galactus looks so cool in this FF movie!

First, isn't the Thing sort of emotionally screwed up from being turned into a lumbering monster? Wouldn't getting rid of that be kind of a big deal for him?
And, isn't the Surfer just a herald for Galactus? I mean, fighting him is sort of pointless isn't it? Like, "My boss is coming to eat your planet." "No problem we'll just kill you and that'll be the end of that" wtf? - jspegele, on 10/11/2007, -0/+7in other words . . . no

Surfer also acts sort of like a scout, finding planets and getting the suitable for Galactus to consume them.Making them suitable involves wiping out any sort of opposition that could be problematic for him. I think the plot will be Silver Surfer looks like he is causing all these troubles when in fact his master Galactus is the one making all the mess. Story ends with him being a good guy after all and being a hero. I'll gve credit to Marvel if that prediction of mine is wrong.

Marvel. - CannedMango, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Like many things, emotionally stunted diggers feel the need to excessively bash anything that they think other people dislike, so as to not be caught supporting something "lame" or "gay". The first movie is a lot of fun, don't go in expecting much and you'll probably enjoy it.

A big hulking Galactus type baddie would look totally daft in the hyper real context of a movie. You need suspension of disbelief and that would take most viewers straight out of the film. An Ultimate Galactus type solution makes *a lot* more sense as well as giving scope for some interesting new diversions.
Instead of cloud, think 'smart dust', but with each particle of dust a huge robot berserker.

- Deedubau, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I felt the first one felt like a direct to tv movie quality wise. Decent action not very memorable plot and very lacking in character development. This was probably done on purpose to speed up production and make money as soon as possible. Hollywood probably didn't put as near much effort into it like in the bigger comic movies because the franchise for Fantastic Four isn't as near big as the others.
I personally hated the first one but love the trailer for it. I'll probably hold off on seeing this one until the reviews come in but I will say I enjoyed the trailer for this a lot too! - MrBone, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2Sweet, this means the next Fantastic Four will feature epic battles with GALACTUS!
