- MonkeyNacho, on 06/19/2009, -0/+35He knows his stuff. Apparently, it's quite legal to pass out in a neighbor's trash can.
- anexanhume, on 06/19/2009, -0/+28Raccoons also have terrible pronunciation. For instance, they pronounce cheese as "choose"
Yeah, that should cover it up
/facepalm - thegamingguy, on 06/19/2009, -0/+24That photo of him in the can is brilliant.
- PhillyMJS, on 06/20/2009, -0/+18Obligatory Lionel Hutz quote:
"I'll have you know the contents of that dumpster are private! You stick your nose in, you'll be violating attorney-dumpster confidentiality!" - anexanhume, on 06/19/2009, -1/+16Awesome, a raccoon attorney.
Your Honor, I objec....oooh choose poofs..... - blackninja543, on 06/20/2009, -0/+13I guess you could say he was trashed.
- IgorUnchained, on 06/20/2009, -0/+10Cmon....like none of you have ever woken up in your neighbor's trash can before!
- BassMastr, on 06/19/2009, -0/+7I imagine the embarrassment is punishment enough.
- macinit1138, on 06/20/2009, -1/+7I say let all the lawyers sleep where they come from!
- asgardshill, on 06/20/2009, -0/+5It's probably fair to assume that pharmaceuticals were somehow involved in this.
Ambien CR - it's a hell of a drug! - sockpuppets, on 06/20/2009, -0/+5Perfectly normal, perfectly natural.
- barryp3403, on 06/20/2009, -1/+5Because a lawyer would probably turn around and sue you for getting garbage on his clothes. In the law, no good deed goes unpunished!
- tylerfulltilt, on 06/20/2009, -0/+4Here's a link to an interview (click the "attorney found in trash can" link in the side bar). He basically says "MY BAD!"

- ahhell, on 06/19/2009, -0/+4New internet meme?
- kanojo1969, on 06/20/2009, -1/+5Wouldn't have been anything without the photos, that's hilarious. As mentioned above, obviously he's a kickass attorney, even rolling drunk he managed to top off the night doing something special that wasn't illegal.
And if it was a woman, she would have been crying about her drink being spiked, within seconds of waking up. And honestly it could have happened, in the video interview with him it seems like he really doesn't know how it happened. Maybe he should have got a blood test. - seel007, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3FTA
"In 2008, he was the highest paid of Jeffersonville’s six city attorneys, receiving $107,000 in tax dollars. That’s four times more than the next highest-paid city attorney."
107000/4 = 26750
If you make $26,750 as an attorney, even if it is for the city, I would look for other work. - rhesusattack, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3Haha, my hometown made it to the Digg frontpage.
- Lewie, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3Kind of like how certain coaches pronounce "The Cheat" as "The Chort"?
- LumpOfCole, on 06/20/2009, -2/+5Where's the story? It sounds like a lawyer's typical and natural habitat.
- Foot56, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3Tha Hangover 2?
- geesamba, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3You lost me on the third sentence. Brevity is key, my friend.
- cnot3, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3You don't have to go to law school to know that your neighbor's trash is an excellent place to pass out.
- catdawg555, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3He might get canned for this. bad bad sorry
- SigmaDraconis, on 06/20/2009, -0/+3...Because you bothered with posting a comment to let everyone know that you're such a unique and beautiful snowflake.
- FatLoser, on 06/20/2009, -1/+3okay, in brief: can i beat off in trash cans if i am paid to do so by a legally incorporated entity?
- inactive, on 06/20/2009, -1/+3I always said lawyers were garbage feeder.
- blackninja543, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2And so start the down voting and burying of this comment oh well :D.
- inactive, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2I am a lawyer. Yes you can.
- sparkplug890, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2yo dawg I herd you like lawyers in your trash... uh...
I give up. - 4321234, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2Probably chasing an ambulance and lost control on a corner.
- zoomaKabu, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2They're not city employees. They do work for the city but also have other clients.
- soomprimal, on 06/20/2009, -1/+3I clicked on this article just to look for a Hutz quote and then digg it. Thanks!
- WocCixelsyd, on 06/20/2009, -0/+2Yeah this is pretty big news right now in my city. I'm surprised to find this on digg, though.
Also, the plolice escorted him to his home, next door. HA! - FatLoser, on 06/20/2009, -1/+2this changes everything... i have plans to draw up my friends... plans that involve me making lots and lots of money doing what I love and making the world a better place at th esame time. god bless. i have mastered the art of tantric orgasmic retention and i can drip out a little bit without th elong recovery time of an amateur, so i think i can probably swing $30-500 per day depending on whether or not it is trash day and so forth.
- StayPuft85, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1receptacle
i love that word
receptacle - carlrey0216, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1So an attorney gets to go on digg for doing something college guys do every weekend?
FTR: I'm in college :-) - inactive, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1"Judge not" as we've all been there.
- SONYDVDR, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1Jefferton
- dancantone, on 06/21/2009, -0/+1Sounds like a really smart but square guy who was drugged and set up to look silly and can't remember what happened.
In small towns where reputation is paramount to everything else a set up like this can be unforgiving and never forgotten by the town and can ruin a life forever!
Don't always assume conspiracy sure, but in his line of work where image is everything, vindictiveness can get methodical.
The convenient photo op is what makes me suspicious...make a few publicity photos before checking on him or pulling him from the stinking trash? - skipvt, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1I'd hire him.
- asgardshill, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1I'm not a lawyer, but I play one on the Internet. At least demand that your associates pay for the camera and technical crew before shooting (heh heh ...) begins.
- NCSD, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1Hahaha
If only he was single, no harm no foul - l800LEMMINGS, on 06/20/2009, -0/+1getting that morning paper is gonna be a bit... awkward
- SifuMoKung, on 06/20/2009, -1/+1"I'll take it - but I get to keep the birdcage!"
"Still got it!" - LibertyPrime, on 06/20/2009, -0/+0Trash can attorney objects.
- dronkmunk, on 06/20/2009, -1/+14 chan is that way --->
