' It's the Least Painful Way to Die' -- Reiser's Confession

blog.wired.com — With his children asleep in bed, Hans Reiser stole away from his home two nights in a row to dig his wife's grave, while her body sat in a duffel bag in his car. That's one of the details to emerge in Reiser's belated August 21 confession to prosecutor Paul Hora. An excerpt is below. One note: it becomes unpleasant after the jump.

  • fprintf, on 08/30/2008, -0/+6As others have said, he did not choke her. The article, both Hans and the investigator, use the term choke. But if he indeed applied pressure to the arteries, would that still be as painful as the choke holds you have endured? I don't know.

    In the military we had to learn the proper technique for blood choking, and we each had a partner who we would practice the move on and vice versa, of course we tap out before we go unconscious.

    It happens pretty quick, just imagine falling asleep with your eyes open within a couple of seconds.

    The only bad thing about that is you get a horrible headache afterwards if it is done repeatedly in a short amount of time.
