- Premier, on 04/24/2008, -1/+53You mean women aren't the ones sending checks for those "enlarge your penis now!!" emails?
- Userfaulty, on 04/24/2008, -5/+40Maybe thats because there are NO women on the internets.
- awesometastic1, on 04/24/2008, -3/+26this is so counterintuitive to my personal experience. the only explanation can be the life-sucking porn sites that promise the world and deliver only viruses... and boobs... totally worth it.
- jmkiii, on 04/24/2008, -4/+17There aren't enough "FREE SHINY ROCKS!!! CLICK HERE NOW!!!" banner ads.
- zapperdude60, on 04/24/2008, -0/+10*****. i am no more likely to... ooh look a free ipod
- klick37, on 04/24/2008, -1/+10Strange, I don't have a 'Cyber Crime' button on my keyboard.. Though it would make things a lot easier...
- t0x2c, on 04/24/2008, -0/+9Maybe your woman is...
- inactive, on 04/24/2008, -11/+19Buried as inaccurate. http://www.menarebetterthanwomen.com
- hovercrafts, on 04/24/2008, -1/+9Enlarge my penis size AND get a Rolex for cheap? How could I ever lose?
- DannyDriffs, on 08/25/2008, -1/+7Well, men are more likely to want to shoot that damn duck and win a Free iPod.
- SemiSarcastic, on 04/24/2008, -0/+6Man what's with men hatin' the women on the intertubs?
- swantonamobay, on 04/24/2008, -2/+8And in other news women have more kitchen accidents than men.
- apetrie, on 04/24/2008, -0/+5Anonymity breeds baseness.
- sdcarter, on 04/24/2008, -2/+7Wow, when you put it that way it almost sounds like regular dating. You spend all your money and all you get are a few wild nights and an itchy joystick.
- stevetrojanman, on 04/24/2008, -1/+5Internet fraud is sexist...
- toppgun, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4those are men or fbi agents posing as women
- nanded, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4"Hmmm, this E-Mail is filled with many errors, including misspelling my name, however it does seem to indicate that Cindi and her friend Jasmine want to have sex with me. I feel compelled to take a chance on this."
- kylere, on 04/25/2008, -0/+4Women worth having are more than capable of judging suitors, that is part of the reason they are worth having!
- theneb29, on 04/24/2008, -0/+4reason: men then to use their dicks more than their brains when making internet decisions (or most decisions).
- InfidelAl, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3truer, io tyope wuith nmine
- tetsuwan, on 04/24/2008, -2/+5mr Confused:
you are right about the last two, but not the first. I bet 90% of the people falling for "once in a lifetime deals" and junk stocks pump-and-blows are men. - davidrools, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3I don't know. I can imagine a lot of guys falling for schemes that promise to "suck men in" as the article/description puts it.
- leerayIG88, on 04/24/2008, -2/+5I get fooled all the time when a girl wants me to pay for fun on cam.
Some cases they were men trying to be women.... Q_Q - sockpuppets, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
- adml_shake, on 04/24/2008, -3/+6Ok, guys might fall for buying stuff that comes from shady sites more but women hands down fall for crap like the nigerian scam and "send me money to save the kittens" or "send me some money so I can pay for my son's cancer treatments".
- Nelka, on 04/24/2008, -1/+4Men seem more likely to fall for internet scams, but women seem more likely to fall for men who scam them out of money. I'm not sure which one I find more irritating.
- aliengoods, on 04/24/2008, -1/+4Reading the article, it did say men were more often victimized by check fraud and the Nigerian letter scams, which are typically much larger sums.
I doubted it at first, but then I thought about the general differences in personality between men and women. Men are far more likely to gamble large sums of money, while women are looking for a safe bet. I know, it's a stereotype, but my experience has shown it to be true. - RuSTeDs, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3"Enlarge your dick with clinically proven tablets in three days?" *click*
- GoKings, on 04/24/2008, -1/+4I would think the reason is that men are more apt to shop around for a deal, and then take what they think is the best deal. Most women on the other hand, have no problem forking over the extra money for the sense of security, and typically don't shop around for the best deal. Plus, it's very difficult to buy clothes on the interwebs (fitting wise).
- kiwimonk, on 04/25/2008, -0/+3Thats cause women are used to douche bags making them offers all day.
- ahawks, on 04/24/2008, -0/+3Loss of man points for poor sentence structure.
- gmprunner, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2I'm sorry, I didn't catch that; once more please.
- inactive, on 04/24/2008, -2/+4How about this "more male n00bs are scammed, more often than women" The rest of us 31337 males know better, and often re-scam the scammers.
- tetsuwan, on 04/24/2008, -1/+3men are greedier. Greed is what makes men fall for these things. And porn, perhaps.
- Alaksuleiel, on 04/25/2008, -0/+2Yeah and you certainly wouldn't find a a woman on Digg.... Oh wait, I AM a woman....
oh *****, I'm going now.... - robthom, on 04/24/2008, -0/+2Probably because everyman wants a bigger penis to impress women.
- apetrie, on 04/24/2008, -0/+2Geek girls.. they DO exist! I swear!
- Hipser, on 04/24/2008, -1/+3At first I was like, "well of course! women don't use the internet as often as men!"
But then I was like, "nope... no" - warispeace21, on 04/24/2008, -2/+4Or maybe men are more likely to file a complaint about it?
- MasterTroll, on 04/24/2008, -0/+2"click here for pr0n" MUST... RESIST.
- Exbzurq, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1*****
- crossmr, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1"men lost U.S. $1.67 to every $1 lost by women on online fraud" There is no context for this statement? Is that per capita? Or is it average out by how many men and women are supposedly on the internet? There is also nothing there about frequency. If I lose $10, but 9 women lose $9 you could say that I lost more than the women, but far more women were tricked. This is a sensationalist title with no real information.
- noob09, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1Psst... your gross redundancy of a sentence is making us look bad.
Quick! Let's talk about Monster Trucks and red meat so they don't understand! - andreeee, on 04/25/2008, -2/+3BURY ME.
- winglord01, on 04/26/2008, -0/+1I guess it's due to those "ENLARGE PENIS" and porn ads. And for the uninformed, a big penis isn't all it's cracked up to be. I've heard stories of men who've suffered as women are intimidated by the size of their willies, and refuse to offer them anything as they don't want to be "worn out". Just learn how to wield your "blade" effectively and you'll be fine.
- HSaraiva, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1Well, duh.
This is because there aren't any women on the internet. Now back to the kitchen! - apetrie, on 04/24/2008, -1/+2I don't know about this explanation.. I mean, it seems men are generally more reluctant to admit when they've been duped. It seems more hurtful to their pride, whereas women are more comfortable in the victim role. Maybe that isn't very nice to say about my own gender but its fair.
- JessicaSarahS, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1~ C i A l !$ *~
- summerday008, on 04/25/2008, -0/+1This doesn't surprise me at all. I always knew women were smarter than men. Ha!
