In 2001, Paul took "moral responsibility" for the comments printed in the newsletters under his name, telling Texas Monthly magazine that the comments were written by unnamed writers and did not represent his views.
Now if there had actually been something to those newsletters that was in any way a reflection of Dr. Paul he would not have been re-elected and if he had the House would have brought him up on ethics charges. The incident completely and totally has been dealt with and only ignorant cowardly hateful little racists continue it in a lame attempt to get Americans to hate each other more than we love freedom.

Remember when MLK said he wants his children to "live in a nation where they won't be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character"? That's a libertarian/individualist ideal right there, and as the only individualist running, it is something Ron Paul represents greatly. In any case, since you're a collectivist, I'll put it in terms you can understand. Why does Ron Paul receive the most money of any Republican from Blacks? Why is he the only one who realizes how badly the war on drugs impacts the inner city and black communities and is the only one who will end it?
So please stop ferrying the latest smear that has been debunked time and time again like a little political monkey hack. You have nothing useful to contribute, and instead just try to debase the name of a respected man. Ron Paul never wrote or said those words, and it would be completely out of character for him to do so.

In picture 19 showing "King's Lieutenants" only the male members of the conference are identified even though one of the two women in the pic is very prominent. I wonder who she was and what she was doing. Even "Unknown Volunteer" would have been enough. I think the lack of recognition of her gets to me because so often when we fight for the rights of one group, another gets ignored. At the same time that the civil rights movement was happening, women's liberation was also struggling, and black (actually all) women were oppressed by both black and white men.
