- sjbdallas, on 03/22/2009, -6/+573Hey Cisco, I don't care what the guy's job was, I'll do it for 10% less pay with 100% less bitching.
- beatitlikeacop, on 03/22/2009, -9/+246Tim Levad is a bitch.
- kwasmosis, on 03/21/2009, -16/+230And that's why Social Networks need a warning label, 'Use with discretion'.
- madwaxer, on 03/21/2009, -1/+187why not just use pseudo-fake names for the registration!?
and don't share it with anyone at work. - inactive, on 03/21/2009, -30/+166The very fact that he's posting on twitter proves he's a loser. I hear that's how Cisco weeds them out.
- verygoodyear, on 03/22/2009, -7/+138Owned.
- Thorpe, on 03/22/2009, -11/+140Kill the twatters!
- decx, on 03/22/2009, -1/+118i think it's cool that my unborn children will be able to read all my stupid one-line rants on digg
- leetninja, on 03/22/2009, -4/+110he was being hired as a toilet scrubber at 6.50 an hour ... glad to know you are willing to fill in for him ... Tom just had some green apple splatters in the mens room on the second floor ...
- dafragsta, on 03/22/2009, -4/+95look at his picture. It just reads "smug sucker of penises."
- nonymous666, on 03/22/2009, -1/+92If you need a warning to use common sense, then you deserve the consequences.
- irishjays, on 03/22/2009, -2/+78Well I work at IBM and my boss is a Nazi, my secretary, who I didn't get to hire, chews bubble gum all day, and whores herself by the vending machines. I think the janitor, whose been wasting away here for some 15 years, has been stealing the porn I keep in my bottom right desk drawer, and the human resources people, especially Bill Bartley, must have ass sores from sitting on their thumbs all day, only moving to send out questionnaires that we all lie on, thus generate useless data, they then use make worthless decisions. I am still a few thousand under six figures, and I haven't had a raise in 90 days, while my boss, who again, does nothing, sneaks smokes in his office.
- phR3d, on 03/22/2009, -1/+72The guy respond on is personal website http://www.theconnor.net
- ipushmycar, on 03/22/2009, -3/+67ill do it for 11% less pay with 101% less bitching.
- PrismoFillusion, on 03/22/2009, -0/+64Actually, she's a girl!
- asgardshill, on 03/22/2009, -6/+66All speech has consequences. It sounds like you're advocating a form of reverse censorship - people get to say whatever they want however outrageous it might be, but others are banned from responding or criticizing.
The guy was absolutely free to "say what he felt". Conversely, Cisco is equally free to not hire somebody who apparently wants a paycheck but not the horrible drudgery-filled work that goes with it. And Cisco's employees are also equally free to let their employer know that their new hire is less than thrilled about his new responsibilities.
This guy should have listened to Sinanju Master Chiun's sage advice: "Whose bread I eat, his song I sing." - ScottMitchell, on 03/22/2009, -1/+56The problem is that when people post behind pseudonyms they act like jerks. They'll say mean and hateful things that they wouldn't say to someone's face.
I use my full, real name when posting online. That helps me keep my comments in check and doesn't let me forget that what I post will be out there, on the Internet, forever. Unfortunately, this approach can stifle the conversation - e.g., if there's something interesting I have to add about some embarrassing topic, say, advice on constructing a midget-filled S&M slave dungeon, I will not chime in due to the fact that my true identity is out there for others to see. Eep. Perhaps I have said too much. - ShyGuy91284, on 03/22/2009, -3/+58<Insert life-destroying comment here/>
- Dougman82, on 03/22/2009, -3/+56If I heard someone who worked at my company say that they hated their job, I would laugh and say, "Yeah, most people do." Why the hell would someone like this Tim Levad honestly take offense to that? If this is legit, then yes, Connor was a little rash to post that, but Tim Levad is the epitome of "tool."
- morrissey79, on 03/22/2009, -2/+54doesn't he need to die in some god awful way to get a Darwin?
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -0/+48I'll grow a mustache and do it while singing "Bicycle Race" by Queen the entire time.
- Krissam, on 03/22/2009, -0/+46He was the office fluffer
- JohnILM, on 03/22/2009, -2/+47Those at Cisco might be versed in the web, but they aren't versed in the use of question marks.
- DiggDuggin, on 03/22/2009, -2/+44Wow, what a bunch of nonsense, I couldn't even figure out what her point is. The fact is, most people right not can't find jobs, this girl actually found a semi-decent one, then did something really stupid. I wouldn't want her working for me either, especially with all the overqualified people out there in the hiring pool.
- decx, on 03/22/2009, -3/+44yea... squealers suck
- inactive, on 03/22/2009, -0/+40***** TIM LEVAD.
- CoD4, on 03/22/2009, -0/+39AKA routing traffic
- StinkyHobo, on 03/22/2009, -0/+39It's two words: prima donna.
- PrismoFillusion, on 03/22/2009, -3/+40girl's*
- eightyd, on 03/22/2009, -1/+37I'll do it for the same pay, twice as well as anyone else.
- noisymime, on 03/22/2009, -0/+35IBM policy says your desk drawer should be locked. Having it unlocked is a security violation. Who's your manager, I'm sure they would love to know about your flagrant disregard of this important policy?
Here at IBM we are versed in the web. - Jhiaxuz, on 03/22/2009, -3/+38Nah, it's the users fault for putting up any information without thinking of the consequences. The internet is a very open and vulnerable world which is what social networking is designed to capitalize on.
I have no sympathy for the women who posts open profiles on Facebook with a myriad of pictures of themselves and then later cry foul by getting bombarded by crazy messages. The same goes for people like this guy. They deserve it for being so ignorant and irresponsible. - m3arvk, on 03/22/2009, -10/+44It'd be nice if we lived in a world where people could actually say what they felt without all hell coming down on their head.
- vmos, on 03/22/2009, -0/+34you may not use your real name, but I know who you are, PETER PARKER
- elnerdo, on 03/22/2009, -4/+38""Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
-Jesus
Before criticizing users of Twitter, remember that you are commenting on Digg. - sstidman, on 03/22/2009, -1/+31Really? Did you put an iPfhone in your wife's uterus or something?
- geodebug, on 03/22/2009, -2/+32She sounds like a really bright person. Of course she also sounds a little 'made up'.
- ultrafez, on 03/22/2009, -5/+35Idiot
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -1/+30Yeah, he seems like a major douche.
- howclever, on 03/22/2009, -1/+29https://www.myciscocommunity.com/people/tlevad;jse ...
My name is Tim Levad, and Cisco rules! Love it or leave it!
PS: I blow goats. - spectre_25gt, on 03/22/2009, -4/+31Yeah. Even if you're fully aware of what the word means and how to use it, don't bother learning how to spell it. You're obviously not elite enough. Also, if you come across a word in a book that you don't know, don't look it up in the dictionary. You're not meant to read that book.
- KoldKalamity, on 03/22/2009, -9/+35that other guy is a ***** asskissing rat. >:C
- Chompy, on 03/22/2009, -0/+25Cheers, but I don't think it's *that* much of a risk, in your case. There are probably several hundred Scott Mitchells in the US alone. Unfortunately for me, if I google my own name, every single entry relates to me.
- geodebug, on 03/22/2009, -3/+26Said the smug digg poster.
- MGrizam, on 03/21/2009, -8/+30hahahahah perfect
- ArtificialAnus, on 03/23/2009, -0/+22He's right. Heck, I use my real name on digg, too.
I hate my parents. - diggenerate, on 03/22/2009, -1/+23so you're an ass kisser?
- jwanderson, on 03/22/2009, -0/+21Type it into Google and it will suggest primadonna, the first link separates it into two words, another spelling problem solved by Google, welcome to the internets.
- Goldbricker, on 03/22/2009, -2/+23Spoiled bitch syndrome
- morrissey79, on 03/22/2009, -8/+29reminds me of "everything is great and nobody is happy" from a few weeks ago. Some people have become such huge premadonnas that they will even publicly complain about the miracle of finding a job during the biggest economic downturn in decades. It's like he exepects the job to commute to him.
(by the way...how do you spell "premaddona" correctly? I'm fairly sure I'm wrong. Both my spellcheck and translation software are of little help) -
