          Women need to know that men are strongly against hitting women only out of respect. If a man stands there while a women slaps the ***** out of him, he is standing there and not fighting back only out of MASSIVE respect, humility, and self control for her.

          Some women think that due to this courtesy that men give to women, they can breakdown, cry, and go crazy, and even violently attack men whenever the ***** they please. Its' not surprising when, occasionally, a man simply decides that this kind of woman doesn't deserve his respect.

          I Highly doubt that in this video the man simply decided to hit the woman in front of a crowd of people. Most likely he was provoked by a woman spoiled by societal taboos into a false notion that allowed her to beat the ***** out of any man and not expect any retaliation.

The purpose of gender equality is to take the person's sex out of the equation. Doing so, if you would hit one person for something, you should hit another for the same thing.

    The concept of not hitting women is a sexist belief indoctrinated upon men from a young age on. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't hit a woman unless it was legitimate self-defense, but I wouldn't hit a man unless it was either. It is a case of positive discrimination to baby women because you don't think they can handle what a man can.

          There is however, a cultural difference where men are expected to be tolerant and women are not. So men are more likely to hide the fact that they are in pain, it does not, however, mean they are not in pain.

          It is also possible to build up personal tolerance to pain. When I was learning Taekweondo, in one exercise we had to repeatedly punch a metal pole until our hands were raw. Doing this week after week (don't try it unless you know how to punch a metal pole without breaking the bones in your hand) taught us to just ignore the pain involved. The same occured in hit-block sparring. Initially we would get bruises from both blocking, and being blocked. After a few months are arms/legs hardened up a lot to it.

          And as a bar game, my mates and I used to burn cigarettes into our hands. It got boring when it stopped hurting though. It was just guys doing it, a few girls were pretty good at it too.

          So what I'm basically saying is that those women in the National Guard didn't have a higher pain threshold, but if you guys DID hit them harder, then they probably did have higher thresholds by the end of training...

          I wouldn't recommend doing the self-burning though. My hands look none too pretty these days, and it was a fairly stupid game to play.

          I am mildy above average... I can bench press almost (270 lbs) as much as the womens world record holder (on a good day), and i don't keep an extensive workout regime. I bet I could get to 300 lbs buy just busting ass for a few weeks.

          Nothing "in general" about it. The average man is stronger than the very strongest woman. In that regard women are not even competitive with men...

          Say you had a job that required bench pressing. It is sexest to exclude women from that job, just because they are women. On the other hand, it is perfectly fair to require people to be able to bench press so much weight over so much time. For example garbage men have this type of pre-employment test. However, you don't see women on this job (often) because what is somewhat average stength in men, is exceptional strength in a woman.

But then he proceeded to lay into the guy on the ground for about 15 minutes with the golf club, then he poured the vat of hot dog oil on him, then he went to the back and got the second vat of hot dog oil and brought that out and poured it on him too. Ultimately, as I recall, the shopkeeper was convicted of far worse crimes than the robber, and frankly I think that is absolutely fair - even though he had some sort of esoteric "right" to beat up the robber.

        just because we want equality in the workplace and in society, doesn't mean we all need to think in a linear way and throw out the romance from race relations. gender identities can enforce sexual attraction and should be held onto. there are basic societal reasons for manners and chivalry, they form the backbone of a healthy society where the right values are enforced, the more we've lost them the more self-centered and misguided each generation has become - women and men together. women have become more self absorbed and materialistic and men have lost their understanding of what true masculinity means. It's not GI Joe, or screwing a bunch of women, or having the biggest dick (and being the biggest dick) - it's about quiet confidence, wisdom, intellect, physical fitness, respect for the opposite sex (when deserved - and showing respect ie opening doors etc even when it's not - that's the definition of grace and is very very attractive) loyalty to your friends and mindfulness of others. that's what a real man is, and that's the only kind you'll ever see me with.

The worst thing was regardless of who was at fault if he did hit her back he probably would have been jumped by all the "chivalrous" guys at the bar just like the guy at the pool was.
