- JazJon, on 07/16/2009, -7/+1586How is anyone that calls 911 for an emergency expected to act completely normal/rational? The operator got "offended" and hung up? WTF?
- skidork, on 07/16/2009, -15/+1536Normally, I'm a supporter of officers, but this guy is a ***** *****!
Sic 'im, diggers. - cmuska902, on 07/16/2009, -11/+1124Wow. I'm at a loss for words. How unprofessional, greedy, ignorant, and downright mean can you be to hang up on someone during a 911 call for swearing during an emergency?
- twisterrust, on 07/16/2009, -24/+798That officer is a ***** and btw, that Girl is cute

- elitedw, on 07/16/2009, -6/+544"I be scared to call 911 for anything, even a fire. Cause they tape those phone calls and then play them on the news. That's ***** up.
I mean what if I get killed? I'm dead and can't explain myself to my buddies. It be like
'Hello, emergency?'
'Help! Help mutha *****, they comin to get me!'
'Just calm down, sir. Where are you?'
'Oh...oh I ***** on myself. I can't stop crying.'
They'd play that ***** 30 or 40 times a day. All my buddies would be sittin' at my funeral like
'You know Dave ***** on himself right before he died?'
'Yeah...Saw it on the news. He died crying like a bitch.' "

All 911 Operators are required to stay on the line until either the police have arrived on the scene, or it has been adequately discerned that there is not an emergency.
- JoeyDaioh, on 07/16/2009, -7/+429***** HELLO IS THIS DUNKIN DONUTS MY DAD IS HAVING A STROKE
- stevenbrown, on 07/16/2009, -4/+362What if he died in those 10 minutes?
- Rain12913, on 07/16/2009, -11/+292I knew I had heard this story before: http://digg.com/odd_stuff/911_Hangs_Up_on_Girl_Bec ...
Still ***** up though. - OneRottenTomato, on 07/16/2009, -1/+267Nice. *golf clap* I like the part where the officer made it all about him and how his panties get all up in a bunch when he hears a harmless four letter word. Douche.
- ftc08, on 07/16/2009, -7/+265This guy should be put in ***** jail.
- Patrol42, on 07/16/2009, -0/+245Guess that crap cop wasn't trained for *****, on understand that people are not themselves when injured or under severe stress. Even your basic EMT knows this, and will take ***** (literallly) and still do their 14-16 an hour job.
There's no excuse for this, he should be fired immediately. This could have resulted in death, for all the cop knew. Imagine if this was your mom, dad, or brother! - Dugglous, on 07/16/2009, -0/+201Well, OK. First of all, you don't need to swear over 9-1-1 And second, I prefer Krispy Kreme. *hangs up
- GorfTron, on 07/16/2009, -0/+198This cop needs to hang up his badge and go play bingo with old ladies. I mean, the F word shut him down. And he was so insulted he had to tell the EMS guys about her "comments". This guy gets pussy of the century award.
- ZeroCubed, on 07/16/2009, -1/+181That's stupid. Pretty much anyone who's in an abnormal and stressful situation is going to swear, no matter how clean mouthed they are normally. I hope the father and daughter are okay, and that the officer is put on probation.
- HeDiggMe, on 07/16/2009, -27/+203Good thing John McCain's brother didn't call this line
- themastersb, on 07/16/2009, -4/+179You make money for hanging up on someone during a 911 call when they swear. It's like an achievement. http://www.justasktheitguy.com/tools/achievement-u ...
- Phatlip012, on 07/16/2009, -2/+176This guy should have been fired in addition to criminal charges.
- bulentm, on 07/16/2009, -6/+171***** ***** ***** ***** *****. Arrest me now.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -0/+156*calls again
LIKE WHAT THE ***** I NEED AN AMBULANCE AND A DOZEN GLAZED DONUTS - Gareth321, on 07/16/2009, -1/+156Exactly.
- factsahoy, on 07/16/2009, -0/+155To top it off, she didn't even swear initially DURING the phone call. She had no way of knowing that anyone could hear her BEFORE answering, yet this ***** starts lecturing her from the get-go. He of course knew that she wouldn't know that, and simply chose to start trouble anyway. The piece of ***** should be fired.
- tsmallm, on 07/16/2009, -0/+146this guy needs to be fired. no excuses.
- nemomarlin, on 07/16/2009, -1/+144The officer who received the call is so unprofessional. Every second counts in an emergency, Did he think his dignity at that time was more important that than the girl's emergency?
- DougChristian, on 07/16/2009, -4/+140***** that. It's new to me. Flood that office until they fire him. Or better yet, take it to the mayor. And the governor. Boycott the whole state. Suspension is unacceptable.
- Strongo, on 07/16/2009, -5/+131i dugg it, but lets be honest, im not gonna do anything else
- curtisag, on 07/16/2009, -3/+119A cop who's offended by curse words is like a prostitute that doesn't like blow jobs. Give me a break.
- bsmang, on 07/16/2009, -0/+111I can't believe they use COPS to staff a 9-1-1 line. That's the problem right there.
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -5/+104RAARRHRHHHAFHRRRR!!!
- cygnus2112, on 07/16/2009, -0/+98He got a two week suspension without pay. As of May 2009.
- kenhatesemos, on 07/16/2009, -1/+97probably an extra day's suspension and he'd be forced to apologize. currently he's unapologetic, which means that he doesn't understand that what he did was wrong.
- onClipEvent, on 07/16/2009, -5/+99greedy?
- vampirehim, on 07/16/2009, -4/+92***** that pile of *****.
- Avaseal, on 07/16/2009, -30/+116I'd bone her... (call me)
- inactive, on 07/16/2009, -5/+89Why is it that weed smokers go to jail yet pieces of ***** like this walk the earth freely?
- udayd, on 07/16/2009, -6/+87***** moron. i don't like for people to lose their jobs...but i see no other path here
- rangah, on 07/16/2009, -14/+92That's right. After 2 months all injustices are nullified.
If justice is not served within 2 months, you get away scott-free. It's just like grand theft auto.
Oh wait, no it's not. Idiot. - sgtbutterscotch, on 07/16/2009, -1/+75Ok. At the start of the Paleozoic Era, all life was confined to bacteria, algae, sponges and a variety of somewhat enigmatic forms known collectively as the Ediacaran fauna. A large number of body plans appeared nearly simultaneously at the start of the era -- a phenomenon known as the Cambrian Explosion. There is some evidence that simple life may already have invaded the land at the start of the Paleozoic, but substantial plants and animals did not take to the land until the Silurian and did not thrive until the Devonian. Although primitive vertebrates are known near the start of the Paleozoic, animal forms were dominated by invertebrates until the mid-Paleozoic. Fish populations exploded in the Devonian. During the late Paleozoic, great forests of primitive plants thrived on land forming the great coal beds of Europe and eastern North America. By the end of the era, the first large, sophisticated reptiles and the first modern plants (conifers) had developed.
- pagit, on 07/16/2009, -0/+73it seems the officer had become complacent in his job
20 year vet taking 911 calls, wonder why he is taking 911 calls and not out on duty?
You think he'd hear swearing all the time - barkus, on 07/16/2009, -0/+72That cop would be fired from a minimum wage call center job for that kind of behavior.
- cygnus2112, on 07/16/2009, -3/+70She can call me and utter all the profanities she wants.
- STARTSOMETHING, on 07/16/2009, -0/+60What is this cop, 12?
- hutch619, on 07/16/2009, -1/+57It was posted 3 times before that but was removed due to profane language in the title.
- DougChristian, on 07/16/2009, -2/+58Forget the job. He belongs in prison. Please tell me she sued him for everything he owns.
- Contrarius, on 07/16/2009, -1/+55...there was traffic and he is a very important man
- rebizzle9, on 07/16/2009, -1/+55hmmm, it seems like it would be illegal for an operator to hang up on you during a 911 call
- HavocXphere, on 07/16/2009, -0/+53Suspension? wtf. Thats weak. Should have been a dismissal at the very least.
There are more than enough unemployed people. I'm sure one could be found who doesn't pull such a stunt. - lnxfi, on 07/16/2009, -4/+57BIG MONEY says... what's your point and who cares?
