- krekc, on 10/14/2009, -0/+29But yet if you catch 1 or 2 they rat the others out so in the end you get more ***** off the streets. Brilliant strategy. I like it.
- PidgeonDeath, on 10/15/2009, -0/+19I blame WoW.
These kids are taking raiding in to RL. - BatemanPP, on 10/15/2009, -0/+17"Let's see how that mob mentality helps them.... when they're being paraded through.... a prison yard."
Classic crime video narrator. - Lemonseamonkey, on 10/14/2009, -0/+15Wow, they risk jail time and getting shot for what? A 40 and a bag of Doritos each?
- badwithcomputer, on 10/15/2009, -0/+14Harry: [Marv brings a load of stolen goods from the Murphy household to the van and Harry sees him laughing] What's so funny? What are you laughing at? You did it again didn't you? You left the water running. What's wrong with you? Why do you do that? I told you not to do it.
Marv: Harry, it's our calling card!
Harry: Calling card.

Install turrets. - sat0shi, on 10/15/2009, -0/+6Yeah, because I'm sure the most ideal situation for him at that point would be to be locked in a building with about 15 violent thugs...
- rancor01, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5At home watching TV, if I remember correctly.
Were you out on the streets causing anarchy? - Barackalypse, on 10/15/2009, -3/+8For anyone wondering why a person might want to own an "assault rifle" with 30 round magazines like an AR-15, this is exactly why.
- fatlucy101, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5I'm gonna give you to the count of 10 to get your ugly, yellow, no-good keister off Digg before I pump your guts full of lead!
- BatemanPP, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5It said right on the video that these guys were caught. If one guy gets caught, he's going to squeal on everyone else. That's the problem with this strategy: the chances of identifying one of the suspects goes way up. They'll all get the same jail sentence as the one guy that runs into a store and steals beer. There are drawbacks, otherwise people would have been doing this for a long time.
- rynlnk, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5The manager tries to whack the last one with a pole!
- Wareznuke, on 10/15/2009, -0/+5What a bunch of ***** thugs.
- rawnzilla, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4Look what all your socialistic policies and rhetoric has started, Obama. Thieves are sharing.
/s - immatellyouwhat, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4Another reason to invent the Tazer Turret
- barrimon, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4this is petty theft, but at least its unarmed.
Stockton is just Detroit in California. It's going downhill fast. - Lavarock, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4***** Stockton.
- isaactwito, on 10/15/2009, -1/+5April 26th, 1992,
There was a riot on the streets,
Tell me where were you?
... - sexybobo, on 10/15/2009, -0/+4best part is if they each walked in to a different store and shop lifted what ever they took (most of them only grabbed 1 case of beer) the police wouldn't bother with it. They do something stupid like this and the crime shoots past a misdemeanor until they are all guilty of a felony that will get police out hunting them down.
- BatemanPP, on 10/15/2009, -1/+4Any time a group of a dozen people is cornered in a situation like this, they're going to probably beat the ***** out of the man that just cornered them, especially if he won't unlock the door. They're not just going to sit down and wait for the cops to show up.
- sexybobo, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3The risk of being shot shoots up though since they are doing something that will freak the person with a gun out instead of walking in and shoplifting a case of beer.
Plus who do you think the police will go looking for some one that shop lifted a case of beer or a gang of kids that did a mass robbery like this. - barrimon, on 10/15/2009, -1/+4Say what you will, but this is brilliant.
From an economic viewpoint they just diluted the risk and multiplied the reward. It's the same logic of mutual funds only brought to robbery. The risk of confrontation and getting shot is a lot higher when they steal in small numbers. Now they'll all take the loot home and share it. It's too bad their creativity isn't used for something more meaningful.
This tactic will probably be good for a few more times in their town, but then it'll spread across America until they find a way to stop it. It's too easy to do. - ChaosProfessor, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3One, Two , TEn ......MWAHHHH
- Barackalypse, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3He needs a rifle, preferably fully automatic and belt-fed.
- sexybobo, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3but the chance of some one shooting has gone from 1:100000 to 1:10
Which would you be more likely to shoot at 1 guy stealing a beer or 12 people running in acting crazy. Which would seem as more of a threat? - sexybobo, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3"They'll all get the same jail sentence as the one guy that runs into a store and steals beer."
Not true 1 guy stealing a case of beer is a misdemeanor. 12 people stealing every thing they can grab makes it a felony for all 12 people. - MonoDede, on 10/15/2009, -0/+3I was thinking... "hmm that actually would help them a lot," since prison, afaik, is about who your friends are.
- sexybobo, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2full auto you will waist ammo semi auto or 3 burst max is what you need.
- StreetPreacher, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2Y'know they make those things in semi-auto too.
Jus sayin'. - GregLoire, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2Come on now, the new content isn't THAT easy...
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -1/+3He should have ran over and locked the door while they were stealing *****.
- mark322, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2He needs a shotgun.
- Rutledge14, on 10/15/2009, -0/+2I hate these stupid tv shows that show something that happened one time and a stupid cop to back it up and suddenly there's a trend across America.
- inactive, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1http://www.entertonement.com/collections/9883/CSI- ...
- switchmullet, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1who was that cop, quentin tarantino in disguise??
- barrimon, on 10/15/2009, -1/+2Someone might get shot. Now the risk is 1:12 instead of 1:3
- rynlnk, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1They don't need a key to unlock it from the inside.
- illDecree, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1or "April 29th, 1992".....
there are two dates in that song.... - monkeyboyx, on 11/12/2009, -0/+112 gauge im thinking.
- bicycleman, on 10/16/2009, -0/+1If I had a convenience store I would put in trap door floors and have an underground pit where they could stay for a few days in darkness. Then I'd call the police at that point once they crap themselves.
- SEN5241, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1Where's my stimulus check?
- sat0shi, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1@Zlorp:
And you accuse ME of being racist? Please... I hope you're a troll. - thedogfatherx, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1I gotta go with the shotgun as well. A semi-auto though.
- montekozell, on 10/15/2009, -0/+1@ Barack...... belt feed guns have a higher rate of failure then magazine feed one, the belt needs someone to feed it to the gun
- bicycleman, on 10/16/2009, -0/+1Also, is it just me? Or are we starting to see a lot more blacks breaking the law since Obama has taken office?
- TreatyOfMe, on 10/15/2009, -0/+0What's wrong with that? That's what I do whenever I need a case of beer.
- xGeneric, on 10/15/2009, -1/+1The store had some good loot, what were they supposed to do?
Stores are the old raids though, once they level up and get better gear they'll move on to banks.
Seriously though, DPS the cameras and Sap the clerk. Noobs. - ericcc, on 10/15/2009, -1/+1***** Cooler Ranch, Nacho Cheesier is where it's at.
