- kindGSL, on 06/09/2009, -0/+0The federal prohibition of marijuana, the sacrament of the THC Ministry, is not a lawful prohibition.
It is based on religious intolerance and racism, has no basis in science or truth and is used to persecute the poor, our youth and the vulnerable . Our constitution gives the regulation of religious and medical issues like marijuana to the states, not the feds, so most all of the incarcerations tied to marijuana laws are, in fact, hate crimes against us as a cultural group.

- debocracy, on 06/08/2009, -0/+0It's time to end the absurd, criminally expensive, and lethal war on drugs. It's just another form of corporate welfare and a particularly pernicious one. The collateral damage from 30 years of the drug war is incalculable. The drug war keeps munitions makers busy while they are helping to whip up more wars. The drug war separates families and destroys communities.
Marijuana is not a gateway drug. It is not physically addictive. No one kills people in pot-induced rages, as happens with alcohol. There's only one good reason to keep marijuana illegal. It's profitable for the government to keep it that way. - Joshurawr, on 06/08/2009, -0/+0I just realised, in my description, i wrote "Hoping to get a HIGH number here"
