- tmeaster, on 04/15/2009, -3/+159Making an immature and gross video at your workplace = dumb
Uploading said video to Youtube = dumb
Getting your termination displayed publicly on The Consumerist = priceless - mark076h, on 04/15/2009, -3/+139That Domino's chick is also apparently a registered sex offender, http://digg.com/d1ojiy not my submit so digg it up!
- redmannine, on 04/14/2009, -0/+120I'm Glad these two have been Fired, and hopefully out of the food industry for good.
- 666300, on 04/15/2009, -0/+99I love how fast ***** happens on the internet.
- inactive, on 04/15/2009, -1/+71Karma works quickly these days.
- Cycline3, on 04/14/2009, -7/+74People if you think that was bad, you should never, ever eat out anywhere.
- pstroll, on 04/15/2009, -3/+66Food tampering is a felony in most American states. Report it to the local law enforcement and get the pricks arrested.
- Locupleto, on 04/15/2009, -2/+62What’s this? Minimum wage employees don’t care?
- benitojuarez, on 04/15/2009, -7/+59i HATE the diggbar
- slapded, on 04/15/2009, -4/+53how come when i ordered tonight the pizza tracker said..
"derek began putting boogers on your pizza at 5:45pm" - slapded, on 04/15/2009, -0/+47its like a diarrhea of information
- BlaculasFro, on 04/15/2009, -0/+45I actually worked at a restaurant and nothing bad happened there. The worst that I saw was a lady using no gloves... wasn't bad enough to make me stop eating there.
- mminor, on 04/15/2009, -2/+44What's this? People who don't care tend to make minimum wage?
- Kuestionmark, on 04/15/2009, -1/+41"I am sorry about all of this! It was all a prank and me nor Michael expected to have this much attention from the videos that were uploaded! No food was ever sent out to any customer. We would never put something like that on you tube if it were real!! It was fake and I wish that everyone knew that!!!! Michael never would do that to any customer, EVER!! I AM SOO SORRY! You see all the time of the pranks that people upload and the pranks need to seem real in order to get a laugh out of people but this prank was very very immature and I am sorry for the embarrasment that I have caused your company!"
like srsly, sry. - br0ken1128, on 04/15/2009, -1/+40"whyerhead" is an old old friend of mine, not a common nickname so I recognized it immediately and wrote him ..
It's a location in north carolina ..
I was curious how they tracked theim down..
whyerhead: me and another consumerist user tracked them down through a combination of google, google maps, and their own stupidity.
Me: like a youtube username?
whyerhead: yep!
whyerhead: a friend that had linked to her profile, googled the friend, tracked her down through myyearbook, and was able to determine landmarks from a video and google street view maps
whyerhead: dominos chief of security wasnt even able to figure it out.. but.. dominos offered us some rather nice swag for taking care of business.
SO .. if you're ever in North Carolina ... you might wanna go for Pizza Hut instead .. jk .. I'm sure that location will be on top of things, for a while at least. - charlie6969, on 04/15/2009, -0/+39I used to work at a Pizza Hut in Muncie, IN.
Was robbed twice with a gun pointed at my head each time.
Pizza Hut in Muncie, IN. never even put in a video cameran after this!
The second time, a waitress was pistol-whipped. Corporate and franchise response?
Apparently, YAWN......... No extra security precautions were taken. I quit soon after.
Kudos to Domino's Corporate for their fast and effecient handling of this gross stuff! - FoxtrotYankee, on 04/15/2009, -6/+39*Yawn*
4chan saved a cat! - fightingforair, on 04/15/2009, -1/+30I've worked in a restaurant during my early college years. It sucks when idiots like this belittle the food industry. I've worked with chef's with real passion for cooking that would NEVER do this kind of stuff.
Yes, these big names could be unhealthy for you, but don't let that turn you off to eating out. There are great people out there trying to share their passion for cooking with you.
Try not to let jackasses like this ruin that experience. - inactive, on 04/15/2009, -0/+28That exceeds all possible awesomeness.
- bigstinky, on 04/15/2009, -0/+26Oddly enough, gloves really don't mean much once someone touches their face or hair...Or other things. Some cooks think that once the gloves are on, they create a magical anti germ barrier. Dirty gloves are just as bad as dirty hands.
Proper food handling must be taught and stressed at every level. Unfortunately, some folks will always think they're funny. - grumpy1377, on 04/15/2009, -0/+26http://www.goodasyou.org/good_as_you/2009/04/video ...
more videos and the emails transfered between execs and the dumb girl.
prank my ass. - gcnaddict, on 04/15/2009, -1/+24Domino's should NOT be punished for this. These two workers, on the other hand, need to be locked up for public endangerment. If anyone got sick and died, they also need to be tried for murder.
FTA:
"To say that the Consumerist is 'relatively popular' is a bit of an understatement. Thank you for your understanding. Our chief of security has spoken to the franchise owner this morning, who was dumbfounded, to say the least. He has told us that he will be terminating their employment today. The 'challenge' that comes with the freedom of the internet is that any idiot with a camera and an internet link can do stuff like this - and ruin the reputation of a brand that's nearly 50 years old, and the reputations of 125,000 hard-working men and women across the nation and in 60 countries around the world."
Candid and truthful words by McIntyre. Two utterly moronic people almost trashed the Domino's brand had it not been for swift action by Domino's corporate management. - thatonekid393, on 04/15/2009, -0/+23Interesting comparison.
- Visual77, on 04/15/2009, -2/+24As a fellow vegetarian - shut the ***** up.
- Jupichan, on 04/15/2009, -3/+22People like those in that video are why I tend to harbor a complete and utter disdain for people.
People like those that tracked down those people in the video give me the warm cheese covered fuzzies. - diskoh, on 04/15/2009, -0/+18Scars, Marks, Tattoos:
TAT UR ARM TRIBAL BAND
Well that says it all right there. - SarcasticPirate, on 04/15/2009, -0/+18What the hell is "sexual battery?"
Officer: Ma'am, that's not what a battery is for.... - Locupleto, on 04/15/2009, -1/+17But they have the sparkle in their eye asking if you want to supersize it.
- wissler, on 04/15/2009, -4/+19They should have charges filed against them and be sued for damages.
- RevLoki, on 04/15/2009, -2/+16You know, I'm really happy with that corporate communications guy's response. It really made me feel like he gave a damn. You don't see that in corporate communications these days.
Good on Domino's! I never eat their pizza.. but that was great action. - Rain12913, on 04/15/2009, -3/+17I love the internet.
Also, a link to the submission and not a direct link to the article would help people digg it up. - Mankind121, on 04/15/2009, -0/+13Thats what I was thinking when I saw that, its apparent she has a history of making bad decisions.
- MrBoog, on 04/15/2009, -0/+13Yes
- smemily, on 04/15/2009, -0/+13§ 14‑27.5A. Sexual battery.
(a) A person is guilty of sexual battery if the person, for the purpose of sexual arousal, sexual gratification, or sexual abuse, engages in sexual contact with another person:
(1) By force and against the will of the other person; or
(2) Who is mentally disabled, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless, and the person performing the act knows or should reasonably know that the other person is mentally disabled, mentally incapacitated, or physically helpless.
(b) Any person who commits the offense defined in this section is guilty of a Class A1 misdemeanor. (2003‑252, s. 2.)
In other words it wasn't sex with a 17 year old. It was either forcible, or against a mentally or physically disabled person. - Metalcard, on 04/15/2009, -1/+13As another fellow vegetarian - I second that.
- enantiodromia, on 04/15/2009, -0/+12probably not
- imautobot, on 04/15/2009, -0/+11That dumb bitch had to know she was signing her own walking papers.
- mark076h, on 04/15/2009, -1/+12hmm i guess you turned off the diggbar?
- Gizza, on 04/15/2009, -0/+11"Yes, these big names could be unhealthy for you, but don't let that turn you off to eating out. There are great people out there trying to share their passion for cooking with you."
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that those people probably aren't making your Big Mac. - Rain12913, on 04/15/2009, -1/+11Nope, just didn't see until just now that you could digg articles from the diggbar......woosh.
- RealmDown, on 04/15/2009, -1/+11Hey everybody, listen up! Algaeturd says no one should do anything about anything until all the "big stuff" is taken care of first.
- guinpen, on 04/15/2009, -0/+10she sounds totally serial right there
- TrouserJazz, on 04/15/2009, -0/+10I don't see how that's relevant to her filming some guy putting cheese up his- ok, now I see it.
- crash331, on 04/15/2009, -0/+9Care to elaborate?
- failedpimp, on 04/15/2009, -0/+8Instant Karma!
- duewydo, on 04/15/2009, -0/+8and as usual, it can be a bitch.
- Tiak, on 04/15/2009, -1/+8Hold on... So if a mentally disabled guy somehow manages to get a girl into bed after a colossal effort on his part, it is illegal for her to actually sleep with him?... Poor guys.
Also, in connection to this chick: gross. - gcnaddict, on 04/15/2009, -0/+7You didn't see the video where he rubbed a sponge in the crack of his ass multiple times before washing dishes with it, I'm assuming.
- grumpy1377, on 04/15/2009, -2/+9http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFxqC8hZ_xs
- algaeturd, on 04/15/2009, -0/+7That was seriously the most confused, confusing and irrational comment I've seen on Digg in a long, long time.
Congratulations. I'm on here a lot. -
