- enderwiggen16, on 05/07/2008, -9/+31Hmmm, the Digg down squad is acting strangely today
- Phyltre, on 05/07/2008, -6/+30...Let's observe them in their natural habitat.
- iheartrendering, on 05/07/2008, -5/+3No matter how many comments they bury, they'll never bury their dong into a chick.

- OfNumbers, on 05/07/2008, -28/+5What's a Webby? He'll rave about this on the air for sure, so good way to go viral. Hell, even CNN is reporting on this award.
- Checkerd, on 05/07/2008, -26/+11We did it!
- lasVegas702, on 05/07/2008, -32/+3The puppet-head president of the internet.

- Danby123, on 05/07/2008, -28/+6I believe Stephen colbert lost all his credibility when he gave Tony Hawk 3 a 10/10.
- joindd, on 05/07/2008, -13/+0dssdg
- chkdg8, on 05/07/2008, -20/+7That Tony Hawk rating was hilarious.
- ralphthemagi, on 05/07/2008, -17/+4I remember when I first heard about the Webbys. It was back in 2000 when Stile won the "Weird" category for The Stile Project. Ahh, those were the days. The Web 1.0 days when Goatse was still new and only 80s obsessed losers like myself would watch old Rick Astley videos.
- enderwiggen16, on 05/07/2008, -16/+2Well it's partially related to the fact that many weren't even aware of the Webby prior to Stephen Colbert mentioning it on his show.
- Funkfried, on 05/07/2008, -16/+7Good lord he's on a roll....I gotta start eating more doritos
- GriefO, on 05/07/2008, -20/+3I could of sworn this guy endorsed Huckabee on his show.

- AkatsukiNoTobi, on 05/07/2008, -22/+11My theory on why mass buries begin is that a person makes a comment, but is buried rather than dugg up. In retaliation, that person buries everyone else down. Then other people think it's cool to bury everyone, which results in a large chain link of mass buries.
- darnit, on 05/07/2008, -16/+1buried...
- ronpaulite, on 05/07/2008, -7/+4buried...
- sgtbutterscotch, on 05/07/2008, -11/+3Actually, if you take a look at most of the comments on this page, you'll see that most of them are bury-worthy. I believe this to be a completely natural event as opposed to the large-scale orchestrated events of the Bury Brigade.
- ronpaulite, on 05/07/2008, -6/+3Oh, the irony...
- KingGorilla, on 05/07/2008, -4/+3I believe it's a combination of both. It starts as a crapfest of comments then people just go with the flow and bury like hell
- darnit, on 05/07/2008, -16/+1buried...
- MarkusGarvey, on 05/07/2008, -17/+5Steven....if you were a girl..i would masturbate about ***** you doggie style...YOU RULE STEVEN!!!...
- ronpaulite, on 05/07/2008, -6/+2Alright, I'm pretty sure this is bury worthy. No brigade is needed to bring this fag down.
- benburned, on 05/07/2008, -19/+2anyone who buries me is gay!
that ought to fix it.- ronpaulite, on 05/07/2008, -2/+5Not if you're gay.
- rentmitchum, on 05/07/2008, -0/+4He means happy. Commence the burying!
- fudged71, on 05/07/2008, -12/+3Congrats Colbert. Digg this up if you voted in the Webbys !!

Stephen Colbert will be honored for the innovative way he has used the Internet to interact with fans of The Colbert Report - from Google bombing to make him the top search result for "greatest living American" to challenging the "truthiness" of Wikipedia. In his presidential campaign, the "One Million Strong for Stephen T. Colbert" Facebook group attracted more than 78 members per minute in its first week, while his supporters have raised more than $250,000 for the education charity DonorsChoose.org.- MarkusGarvey, on 05/07/2008, -5/+1*****
- jamessavik, on 05/07/2008, -18/+3What a jackass. Maybe I'll shave my dog's ass and he'll get a webby too.
Duke the Lab speaks better English than Colbert and his politics aren't insane.
Duke the Lab in 2008! He couldn't be any ***** worse than the other choices. Oh yeah: he's black too!- MarkusGarvey, on 05/07/2008, -5/+1*****
- ChromaVita, on 05/07/2008, -2/+4So do you just not get the satire, or what?

- theantirobot, on 05/07/2008, -10/+18Colbert has the most relevant show on tv. Daily Show is alright.

well deserved Colbert - Vtorch, on 05/07/2008, -9/+1Buried for plain stupid. Figures that a biased "has been" such as CNN would report something so dumb as this. Who cares!
- souljaboytellem, on 05/07/2008, -9/+2Ah yes..the rare Complete Bury Page, CBP, I thought it was a mere folk legend, but here you have it

- ortucis, on 05/07/2008, -11/+4Those "Webby Person of the Year" people are American as well cause I can't see how rest of the world would know or give a ***** about him or Stewart unless they spend their time watching US news.
- TheDudeDiggs, on 05/07/2008, -10/+4one word......"truthiness"
- Zinital, on 05/07/2008, -11/+6I AM AMERICA AND SO CAN YOU!!!!
