its just that when the first daily show clip got on the front page it was a big hit then, when everybody else saw that they remembered other clips they have seen in the past or just found new ones. then they start submitting... people start digging... and more people catch on and start submitting. before long its almost guaranteed that a daily show or Colbert report will get on the front page simply because its always hilarious.
the same thing is starting to happen with the price is right. though it probably won't be like the daily show because the price is right is not always hilarious so it won't be a guarantee to the front page.

In the contrary to all other idiots who sue their fans for promoting their material, they understood that this is great free marketing for their show.

Something very unnatural is happening in regards to all the price is right videos lately and the fact that this video leaves out something as obvious as that leads me to believe that the recent influx of price is right videos is some kind of overt manipulation of digg.
