When you have a group like this, there is no controlling them.. there is no reasoning with them. They are like rabid dogs. Before you start yelling and calling me racist, I will say that living in the south, I have seen plenty of groups of white people who act almost exactly the same way. The problem has nothing to do with race. The problem is this weird ***** universal apathy that runs rampant in the young people from poor communities. I don't know who or what is to blame for it, but people like this seem born for prison and there doesn't seem to be any way to change it. - charlie6969, on 09/22/2009, -1/+45Not guilty. That is rich! With the same 5-6 kids always jumping me as well as baiting me and lying to get me into trouble for 2 years (causing me to fail from all of the trouble that 2nd year). Although I very rarely lost (and never to just one of them) they never stopped coming.
The only way your method *might* have worked if i half-killed and/or hospitalized one or more of them and there is no way of knowing whether *that* would have escalated the situation still further and would very likely have resulted in actual expulsion and criminal charges. - Qyasogk, on 09/23/2009, -12/+23Bullies would not exist if so many kids weren't being raised by their parents to be utter pussies. The problem is that this alpha dog ***** doesn't seem to stop with simple self defense, and it becomes a lifestyle that perpetuates itself to the point where it's all that matters. What we have these days is a generation of people who missed out on the character-building aspects of it, and only see the power that it can bring.

First, you're right, it is inner city. Second, Belleville isn't exactly small...unless you count ~43,000 small, but it is largely surrounded by rural areas except for East St. Louis (ESL)- maybe you've heard of it- and that metropolis, St. Louis, MO about 20 minutes away (on the west side). Third, while there is technically no inner city busing- West covers the western half of Belleville Township (hence the name of the school), there might as well be. The very western part of town is filling with a lot of the trash from ESL making their way up the hill and into my hometown.
When I went to West, I remember there being a distinct problem with ESL kids catching the Bi-state bus from there to my town to catch the school bus to West every day; they got away with it by registering their address w/ a relative in town they didn't live with (or just a false one). At any rate, I know a lot of blacks live in Dupo, Centralia, Alorton, Brooklyn, and ESL, and that does not necessarily an animal make, but if you went to my old high school and saw how MOST of the black kids acted (yes, there are white ones, too), you'd be more inclined to agree that a good number of them have no interest being there in the first place.
The specific kids in this video may not be animals, but they are savages, and they get a lot of that direction (or lack thereof) from their parents and where they and their friends are from: East St. Louis. - gdo01, on 09/23/2009, -6/+9First of all its inner city. - Sylx, on 09/23/2009, -6/+9I dunno if this was a racism thing or not, but you know that if the black guy said some kind of racist comment to the white guy (and in my experience happens far more often then the other way). He wouldn't have beat him up for it. He would have shrugged it off. Which reaffirms my thoughts that black people are typically more racist than white people.
Deny it all you want, but black people tend to have this unfocused angst that comes from nowhere.
Personally, I think that people should just not give a ***** about racism, and just be like "that's just another person over there".
