- wunksta, on 12/29/2008, -1/+40WHAT WAS A SHARK DOING IN A BANK?
- thegrantman, on 12/28/2008, -3/+24Dear Australia:
May we borrow your shark for a while?
Thanks, U.S. - AmyVernon, on 12/27/2008, -2/+23That's very big of the family; I mean, I guess the shark was just being a shark, but still...
- sjbdallas, on 12/27/2008, -2/+21Guess sharks aren't happy about bailouts either.
- doublefelix, on 12/27/2008, -2/+17"Fellows, let's be reasonable, huh? This is not the time or the place to perform some kind of a half-assed autopsy on a fish..."
- jman583, on 12/29/2008, -1/+15I didn't know that sharks resorted to cannibalism.
- cnot3, on 12/29/2008, -0/+12In other news, the banks are demanding an additional 500 billion dollars in federal funds in order to restructure to fight shark attacks.
- bubba9999, on 12/29/2008, -0/+11I bet they hired that shark. Sharks have no morals and will do anything for a buck.
- Ninh, on 12/28/2008, -1/+11That shark lacked in professional courtesy.
- mousy, on 12/29/2008, -1/+9This credit crunch is getting serious....
- XandraX, on 12/29/2008, -1/+8Don't be stupid, we have shark nets and beaches patrolled by helicopters. Shark attacks are very rare, there's no need to eradicate them...
- Kickinuarou, on 12/29/2008, -1/+7refinancing his mortgage
- inactive, on 12/27/2008, -2/+8Holy ***** Jaws
Loved Jaws - bkripper, on 12/29/2008, -0/+5They'll never find the shark that actually attacked. Sharks have been around way longer than humans and we are not on the menu. If you go swimming in the ocean, you take the risk. Sharks kill like 6 people per year but we kill millions of sharks every year. Sharks have a lot more to fear from us.
- youannoyme, on 12/29/2008, -1/+5Please tell me you forgot a /s...
It's not nearly as dangerous as you make it seem it is, and even if it was, we hardly should "eradicate" parts of an ecosystem just for our recreation - altinnovation, on 12/29/2008, -0/+4What if the family killed the man and threw him in the water?
- Chaindrop, on 12/29/2008, -1/+5Another one?
- inactive, on 12/29/2008, -0/+4Are you kidding?
You have a far greater chance of being killed driving to the beach in a car crash than being attacked by a shark. - swern425, on 12/29/2008, -0/+4I've heard that sharks tend to leave humans be after biting due to not liking the high bone to meat ratio. Many sharks go after humans on boards because they look like seals from below.
- mjgeo, on 12/29/2008, -0/+4As an Australian, it seems like we have some kind of thing for deadly animals.
- dreggen, on 12/29/2008, -1/+4Australia isn't a country that likes to 'eradicate' things. There are plenty of counter measures in place to reduce these attacks happening. It is quiet safe to swim in the water in Australia.
- inactive, on 12/29/2008, -0/+3dunn, dunn...dunn, dunn....dunn, dunn.
- algaeturd, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2It's not the algorithm that's *****; it's users re-submitting stories that were submitted 10 times already. Sometimes from the same sources via different links.
So much for 'It's original...I swear!"
Not a whole lot of christians on Digg who are afraid of the ramifications of lying on a swear. - arunforce, on 12/29/2008, -1/+3Two internets for you!
- Poochy818, on 12/29/2008, -2/+4Obviously a loan shark.
- nietzche, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2i laughed, don't know why you're getting digged down.
- ChronicColonic, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2It wasn't the tough economy and the bank job that was eating him...
- brad3378, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2None of this would have happened if the banker would have left the shark a loan.
- diggafrica, on 12/29/2008, -0/+2mortgage
- inactive, on 12/29/2008, -1/+2It was a Crysis shark walking on the land all the way to the bank.
- modsuperstar, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1The way the title sounded I was half hoping the story would be that the shark was at the bank trying to secure a mortgage when it decided to attack the banker.
- SuperCujo, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1Your comment didn't make it obvious.
- tomjthayer, on 12/29/2008, -4/+5seriously? He was there eating a banker. Read the article before you post . . .
- ZincSaucier, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Just title it "Bank worker definitely killed by shark".
Come on give the guy a little credit. If he turns up alive, he deserves to be remembered as having cheated death - algaeturd, on 12/29/2008, -2/+3Trying to get some of the bailout money? Everyone else has received some...
- DrummerDudeXT, on 12/29/2008, -2/+3I guess no bailout for him

lol i made a funny - MEGACAMZ, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1If you come back out of there and scroll down the page......
- epynephrin, on 12/30/2008, -0/+1I saw the headline and thought "What? Bank Worker killed by shark? How did the shark get into the bank?!"
Needless to say, I was incredibly disappointed to discover that none of my wild theories were accurate. While I do feel for the family, isn't there some better way to describe him than "Bank Worker"? - inactive, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1US was a little too late in offering this guy a bailout.
- SuperCujo, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Amphibian?
Sharks don't have legs to walk on land you moron.
The education system is working well I see. - whazdown, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Isn't this exact story located three or four posts underneath this one...?
- mobling, on 12/29/2008, -0/+1Good Lord!
