If you want to know the origin of terrorism, get to know Hirsi Ali and others- Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist, and Ali Sina. It's all in the Qu'ran and Hadith and until these issues are addressed directly, our civilization will be continually threatened. Because it is our civilization they seek to destroy, under the banner of their religion.
