- kyleh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+39more of a 540, he did the first 180 while he was still on the ground. Props for the sick dunk though.
- urineboy, on 10/12/2007, -9/+40Sigh!! i found the whole process rather labored. His rotational inertia wasn't to my liking, and the total number of degrees was miscalculated, thereby leaving a hollow shell of movement that wasted 4 seconds of my time.

- afeitarse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20Call the civil engineers! They need to build a dam to hold in the river that I'm crying for you.
- CBTF, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21that kid was annoying.
- CannonGod, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14I just thought the sounds created at super-sloooooooooowwwwwww motion were hilarious!
Pretty fly dunk despite not being a true 720.
:¬P - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14i saw this clip for a while now through various sports sites.
never had anyone mention about not being complete 720,
lol
techies vs. jocks see it differently i guess - bing03, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11That's because the word 'amazing' wasn't in the title.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13GuyHitByTruck, you've just been hit by sarcasm. Relax and enjoy the ride.
- windex99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11BOOM SHAKA LAKA!!!!!!!!
- Ireland, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16"Amazing" ;)
- TheClaus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Seeing that actually made me want to give basketball another try.
Now if I can only find my NBA Jams. - afeitarse, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Downtown!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11not a single person on the entire digg site could even come close to accomplishing anything that resembles a tiny shred of what that guy just did. HAHA
whatever it was, it was great. well worth my time - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9JAMS it in!
- nickerbocker, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Looked more like a 540 to me as well.
- cawpin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7The Goat did this 30 years ago in New York.
- francodave, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9too bad they didn't have his reaction in super slow mo
- rasterbator, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7i agree. he cheated with his first two steps and had already started the rotation. but nice effort. i think a true 720 would require somewone who could dislocate their knees.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4"Amazing" how nobody reads the existing comments before writing their own and we end up with 30 people saying the exact same thing...
What? Somebody had to do it. - Egoist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Maybe if your description was coherant, you would've received more attention.
- LegendarySock, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I don't think if you were hit by a car you could sit back and enjoy the ride... oh wait you're using sarcasm now I GET IT.
- shoover, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4...
Actually, Basketball was invented by a Canadian teacher. - theblooms, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@markder
The WNBA??? My god, NO! I would rather gouge my eyes out. I can't stand professional basketball in the US at any level anymore, and I used to be a HUGE NBA fan. 15 years ago. Never watched euroball.
The college game is now so much better, so much purer, I love it! I attend at least 4 or 5 games a year. Know what the main difference between college and the NBA is? In college, it is all about the name on the front of your jersey, while the NBA is all about the name on the back. In college you get teamwork, in the pros you get backstabbing thugs that choke the ***** out of their coaches, punch out fans and bitch and moan because that they Can't Feed Their Kids on multi-million dollar contracts. - qishi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3That last sound had my dog hiding under the bed. hehe
- Eeqmcsq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I hope someone will put up a version with the NBA Jam announcer edited in.
Whooaa... Look out!... Delivers the facial! - CannonGod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Q: How do you beat a 720 dunk?
A: Get 4 guys to alley-oop a girl instead
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGAzOH2c5v8&search=basket%20ball - phoobahr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1pffft. bad math, crap game. call back when you've got soemthing from a real player from, say, Puerto Rico or Lithuania or, I dunno, maybe Argentina.
- spidoman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2More of a 540 IMO, he dunked at the 540 point, and then spun 180 after he had dunked it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3When you can do that, then you can say it's "lame as hell".
I would rather have this stuff on espn than digg though. - whattimeisit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1He dunked it none the less. It was a cool move whether a 720 (which it really wasn't), a 360, or somewhere in between. Digg. Dugg. Done.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3pfft, I could do way better dunks in NBA Live 2006
- windex99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've been waiting 20 years for that dunk.
Now lets see an alley-oop from the foul line, and a 360 from the foul line. - BBryan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2techies are more analytical
- Gryffydd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh the humanity!
- Checkerbelt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I think it was a 1620.
- shoover, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Here's a link, since you seem unable to locate facts on your own:
http://www.hoophall.com/halloffamers/Naismith.htm - npinski, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1also i want a summersault dunk, and ANYTHING from the free throw line other than the standard fly-and-dunk. Get the ball behind the back or under the legs, or whateer.
- Superfluous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its only a 360. He spins while still on the ground maybe, but jumps facing backward, spins one full rotation, and dunks facing backward. Its still nice, but not a 720. At most 540.
- JAppi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If only we had a system that allowed us to mark comments as insightful.....
- olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Invented it WHILE in the usa in Massachussets at the YMCA training school.
Owned. - michaelbuddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Puts up a brick."
(an aside, the password to post this comment is jammr. whoa is that planned?) - windex99, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Got a link?
- windex99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yeah, i saw it too. I think it was a metalife.com link.
- TheLlamaIs, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This was on sportsnet last night...
And I agree with andrebrown. Lets see you do a 360 let alone a 540 or 720 you lame ass. - freetime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Best dunk ever. Travis Pastrana's double back flip at the X-Games wasn't geometrically a 720 either - he left on the upside of the lip and came down on the downside - but he spun around twice and nobody in their right mind wouldn't call that a 720. Twice around - best dunk ever.
- se1zure, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5So if I stand below the net, spin around twice, then jump and do a 180 in the air, I did a 900 dunk? (in basketball world of course)
How does spinning before you dunk count? - imikedaman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I first saw this video two days ago in the comments section of another digg. Is that where you got it from?
- markder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Too bad David Stern is not in any way involved in this because it is a street ball game from the one of the And 1 Mixtapes. And David Stern doesn't actually control the sport of basketball. Fans will choose what they like about it and what they don't. So if you like 17 foot jumpers so much, go watch the WNBA or Euroleague.
