- bigbangbuddha, on 01/19/2009, -0/+29Too many photos of the bands, not enough of the art.
- domfosnz, on 01/18/2009, -3/+18I should go and get mine touched up.
- jonssonar, on 01/19/2009, -0/+13tattoo expo? Really? Looked more like a few tattoos given at a rock concert considering 1/2 the pictures were of musicians. Awful tattoo picture set.
- Novamaster0, on 01/19/2009, -2/+12Must...resist....Sparta joke....
- JamesBondJr, on 01/18/2009, -5/+15I've never heard of a tattoo expo before, but I'm sure it's interesting
- algaeturd, on 01/19/2009, -0/+9Why were there so many photos of fat dudes playing guitar if it's a tattoo festival?
- Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -4/+12Do you really think that those of us with tattoo's really care what it's going to look like when we get older? We don't get them to impress you or anyone else. At least, I don't... I can't really speak for anyone else, but I really get sick of hearing this comment.
We don't care what it's going to look like, and we don't care what you think about it, or what it's going to look like. Turn your head. - saltyjustice, on 01/19/2009, -0/+7more like 2,009 random band pictures with 3 cool tattoo pics. any full size photos from this event?
- ImYourRealDad, on 01/19/2009, -0/+7Those artists probably practice their craft more than any modern painter you could name. A lot of them have traditional art backgrounds because they've been drawing/painting for most of their lives. What's the difference if the ink is on skin instead of paper?
- Ashepp, on 01/19/2009, -0/+7If you liked this you might like some of my shots from the Seattle Tattoo Expo at http://ashepp.smugmug.com/gallery/5960765_ZUicT
- Theresa42J, on 01/19/2009, -3/+9The art will look different when the person gets old.
- Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -1/+7Absolutely not.
- stagnate, on 01/19/2009, -0/+5To be fair, its a great form of art. I'm just so glad i never got a tattoo.
- StickWST, on 01/19/2009, -1/+7Wow a lot of douche bags with terribly unoriginal tattoos.
- Llanowar, on 01/19/2009, -0/+5It's pure art. Besides having to draw something beautiful, you'll have to do it on someone's skin. You don't have an eraser to use. You can't throw it out if it goes wrong. You can't delete a few layers when needed. It has to be perfect on your first go. You have to have a perfectly steady hand.
Besides that, many tattoo artists design stuff themselves.
And when you look at tattoos you have to look beyond the tribal/chinese signs crap. - inactive, on 01/19/2009, -2/+7Buried for the over abundance of band photos and lack of cool tattoos, especially the one of Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). Tattoos CAN BE a cool form of art, this report was not a representation of such.
- akchrs, on 01/19/2009, -2/+7Shaving some fat guys back and drawing pictures on him doesn't appeal to me for some reason.
- Paulish, on 01/19/2009, -0/+5Unfortunately some people, like prospective employers might care. (I don't know why). You just gotta know when to hide it.
- Ashepp, on 01/19/2009, -0/+5If that scared you, take a look at at this http://ashepp.smugmug.com/gallery/5960765_ZUicT#37 ...
- razorc03, on 01/19/2009, -0/+4Aw C'mon!
Why have ONE photo per page?! - Paulish, on 01/19/2009, -0/+3Number 18 scares me.

#38 - aaallright
#39 - raaawwwr there we go
#40 - Why? Please tell me why - sorenchr, on 01/19/2009, -4/+7So... is the expo filled with douchebags like Miami Ink?
- coldkill3r, on 01/19/2009, -1/+4THIS IS MADNESS!
- TommyHigh, on 01/19/2009, -0/+3I guess I should throw out all the fine paintings and photography I bought then?
/Gonna paint me some stick figures to hang - Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -0/+3I can't argue with that, I've seen it happen.
I tend to live by the whole "we're all gonna die any way, eff it and live." Lol - andyb747, on 01/19/2009, -0/+3Was that bald ***** from Miami Ink there? Walking around acting like an *****. He is an *****.
- Llanowar, on 01/19/2009, -1/+4Yeah, except that's not really true. Though of course not everyone will care about it. There are still a lot of people who will regret it at a later age.
Many people don't think twice about their tattoo and end up regretting it for whatever reason.
But to those that do it just for themselves and don't have regrets. That's just great.
I could never do it. I like change too much and would thus regret it too quickly. - inactive, on 01/18/2009, -5/+8wow this is so cool!
- SolidSnak, on 01/19/2009, -0/+3I have to say, that thumbnail kind of caught me off guard.
- jmcneilly, on 01/19/2009, -1/+3Ya think? I'd even go out on a limb and say that the person will look older too.
- inactive, on 01/19/2009, -4/+6If you don't get tattoos to impress anyone else, then why don't you just print the artwork and keep it in your wallet for the times you feel like looking at it. Then you throw it in the trash after the fad passed.
- Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -5/+7Because I like it on my skin. =)
My children's names aren't a fad, thanks. - LadyJadeDawn, on 01/19/2009, -0/+2Needs less musicians and more tattoos in that slide show, but the expo looks like a lot of fun. Toronto needs one of those, would certainly liven up this winter.
- ligyron, on 01/19/2009, -2/+4My first thought was the artists from the movie 300...
- Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -3/+5Your guess is wrong.
I also do not have any "chinese" characters.
I actually have a snake, going from my wrist, wrapping around and ending at my elbow.
Snakes are, and always have been my favorite reptile. - SirBryce, on 01/19/2009, -1/+3Why hello there. (in order of awesomeness)

http://www.browardpalmbeach.com/slideshow/view/220 ... - Ferago, on 01/19/2009, -0/+2Who cares. Might as well live in the moment instead of worrying about being old.
- Cassanova, on 01/19/2009, -0/+2I've been to a tattoo expo. Lots of fun. The one I went to had a car show and people doing tricks on bikes and whatnot. Good times. I'd recommend checking one out even if you aren't a tattoo freak.
- algaeturd, on 01/19/2009, -2/+4Yeah, dawg! You gots some ink? Tight, bro!
- jlwhelchel, on 01/27/2009, -0/+2If you are thinking about starting your own tattoo business or just trying to expand your existing business or you want to learn how to tattoo then I would definitely recommend that you check out http://www.learningtotattoo.blogspot.com. They have the worlds largest collection of tattoos in a stencil package, tattoo training videos, tattoo eBooks, and tattoo inks, and you can get it all for only $47.
- Synova, on 01/20/2009, -0/+2Spoiler: 299 die.
- junskey, on 01/19/2009, -1/+3lol do you live in wyoming?
- Biscuitz, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1I never took it as a joke. I took it as a comment that I hear so often from people that have this "nose turned up" attitude about tattoo's. It's like you think we care what others think, and I'm here to tell you, you don't matter.
Don't be sorry, just turn your head =).
@Paulish
There was only one time I had an issue at first with my tattoo. I worked as a Nurse in a Mentally ill facility, and before hiring, the bosses asked me if I would kindly cover my tattoo. So I did, for a week. It turns out, all the residents thought it was "cool" so I decided not to cover it anymore, and I never heard another word about it from the bosses.
I do agree, job hunting can be a pain when you have a visible tattoo, but it's a good thing I'm a freelancer, and I work at home. - fasda, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1can't help it... unfortunately they were all killed in Persian raid
- Theresa42J, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1Sorry to make tattoo fans mad. I didn't say it like a joke. I said it because I felt like it.
- inactive, on 01/19/2009, -1/+2What tattoo do you have and what`s your reason? I'm curious why people get tattoos.
- Couchy, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1They have them in major metropolitan cities around the world annually. I went to the Toronto expo last summer. The asian tattoo artits catch my eye frequently, check out the stuff from China.
- siandt, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1Yours are much better pictures, thank you.
- Ferago, on 01/19/2009, -0/+1What have you made in your lifetime?
