- wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -9/+39Makes you wonder how easy it is to demolish 3 buildings :)
- wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17This is a different scenario, there is no buildings next to them to protect and a larger demoliton zone so they make them fall INWARDS like dominoes.
Has everybod lost common sense since 9/11?
Controlled demolition doesnt always mean downwards, every scenario has different requirements. - vhold, on 10/12/2007, -7/+18Argh, imagine how terrible the cleanup job would be. Most of the buildings were barely even 'demolished', they just kinda fell over. And one didn't even manage that. Imagine how dangerous that becomes. Very poorly done it looks like.
Cool to watch though. - haxx4, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12How do you knock a building like that down with bulldozers?
- format, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Fight Club already taught me this.
- spraguep, on 10/12/2007, -9/+19Didn't you get the memo? it was an invisiible missile-jet-thingy that took down the 3rd one...
- chicken101, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Fox News: America's News Source for random pseudo-interesting but ultimately useless video clips.
Kind of cool, I suppose. Sometimes the discovery channel airs shows like this, but they explain how and where they put the charges -- which is much more interesting for me. - interiot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10Actually, it's just your typical ephemeral giant monster who forgot where Tokyo is.
- Otto, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Pfft. Chuck Norris wouldn't need 1500 pounds of explosives. He'd just roundhouse kick the buildings down. The problem would be that he wouldn't stop at just 16 buildings, he'd only stop when he damn well wanted to.
- ChillyWilly5280, on 10/12/2007, -13/+19Agreed. Instead of imploding, they fell over. WTC was a cleaner demolition.
- cheungpat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The demolition took place in Shenzhen, China. In the video clip, the river is Shenzhen River and it is the border between China and Hong Kong SAR. And therefore just across the river is Hong Kong territory.

By the way, this happened last year in May. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I love the way the Chinese "pulled" these buildings.
- CraWea, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ahh... Fox.
On Fox, the world is a big reality show ...just without the "reality"-part. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5@haxx4
Yeah that's what I was wondering. I assumed he meant "wrecking ball". Stupid news anchors. - fudoniten, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4"Next on Fox: WHEN BUILDINGS COLLAPSE!!"
- ccheath, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5OR Thermate
- vhold, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2"Has everybod lost common sense since 9/11?

Like.. that a building not even fall down at all? Common sense dictates that very clearly something went wrong here. - gd007, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1was fun to watch!
- bolteddown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1So let me get this straight... This Chinese demolition crew used 1500lbs of explosives to bring down 16 buildings while the Mythbusters used the same amount to atomize a concrete truck?
- dj_sea2005, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4gotta love Youtube's video quality. *BOOMcurglecurglecurgle*
also, when did china get their own Chinese version of Godzilla? and when did they start releasing videos of that creature (with it edited out of course) onto the Internet? - halfpgl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I noticed that too, It kinda leaned up against the other building and when that fell the leaner just stayed there.
- repins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Too bad not all the buildings fell, cool video though
- whisk3rs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And they mention "teasing" us
Thank you, FOX news, for educating America.
/where's China again? - timmay, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2@haxx4
Havn't you herd of killdozer? ;) - ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -8/+7Those amateurs. Controlled demolition and they still had one standing, and the buildings didn't turn into dust.
All you need is fire .. for like 2-4 hours. - Crid, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Where did this happen?
- thekak, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Sigh.
- gr8one, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2....how can we blame that last building on the Bush Administration...hmm?
- rubored, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5"China doesn't demolish buildings, Arabs do" - President George W. Bush, 2006 (in response to recent Digg article).
- eplawless, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3Focus on the eyebrows. They're scary.
- Chrysalid, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Fails for low framerate and resolution :F
- wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1Its because every time he dips his head, his eyebrows get left behind and there is a little lag before gravity kicks in.
- wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -12/+4Chuck Norris demolition co.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2Wow I've seen 3 buildings fall down like this before. Can't remember where.
Dejavu. - dcgray2, on 10/12/2007, -15/+41,500 lbs of explosives? Who are they kidding...
Anyone with half a brain would recognize the trademark Chuck Norris roundhouse kick... - wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1*turns on LAUGH NOW sign*
- wibblewibble, on 10/12/2007, -16/+1That was WONDER WOMAN's INVISIBLE PLANE that hit the Pentagon.
Didnt you see the video they released :) - socoolisme, on 10/12/2007, -21/+5Don't even go there.
