- Cybergig, on 11/21/2008, -9/+127I AM 70 DAYS CLEAN FROM WORLD OF WARCRAFT! AND STILL GOING!!!
Cant stop...WONT STOP!! MUST NOT STOP! - AzureRise, on 11/21/2008, -3/+91Not a WoW fan at all (Only Blizzard game I really like is StarCraft) but, dugg just for the fact that it might shut up the people still claiming PC gaming is dead.
- InfernoX, on 11/21/2008, -5/+77What the? The game with over 11million subscribers sells 2.8 million copies of the expansion on launch day, who would have thunk it.
- FireStalker3150, on 11/21/2008, -16/+69who cares? where the ***** is starcraft 2? and diablo 3?
- Mpwns, on 11/21/2008, -2/+43blizzard makes the best crack.
- exeprime, on 11/21/2008, -2/+27"This can't be right! PC gaming is dying, right guys?"
- j3ff86, on 11/21/2008, -1/+24See you in Northrend bitches!
- paidhima, on 11/21/2008, -0/+22Hell, you could say the exact same thing and just change "WoW players" to "sports fans," "computer geeks," "car enthusiasts" or any other complex activity or subject with its own lexicon.
- sinurgy, on 11/21/2008, -9/+29A lot of things are worth waiting in the rain for, an expansion pack to a video game is not one of them. On the plus side at least you finally went outside!
- ZombieJezus, on 11/21/2008, -2/+22Lol, good luck man
- Qchan, on 11/21/2008, -2/+19What would you expect from a game that houses over 11 million players?
- MarkusDee, on 11/21/2008, -1/+16Bail the world out of its financial crisis.
- Gizza, on 11/21/2008, -1/+15Probably.
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -7/+21One of the lamest things in the world is finding yourself stuck in the same room with 2 or more WoW players. The conversation makes no sense, and there is no hope in hell of changing the topic. I think I'd rather eat glass for every meal than be one of them.
- yourmomdotcom, on 11/21/2008, -1/+14According to that the number of copies of BC sold is about 30% of the user base. WotLK sold about 25%. If they kept the same percentage as BC then it would have been 3.3 million copies sold. The reason I'm calculating this is because I don't play WoW anymore, so I have loads of spare time.
- bitbytebit, on 11/21/2008, -0/+12you are an imposter! - there are no good green items ;)
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -0/+11And yet here you are.
- nbcaffeine, on 11/21/2008, -0/+11I hate it when two people with common interests discuss it in my presence.
- lithera, on 11/21/2008, -0/+11keep going my friend, hard times I know.
I was clean for 6 months but picked up a WotLK copy + gamecard today. Installing it as I type...
Bad habbits die hard, I failed..
That said.. I can't wait to kick Arthas's ass.... - molotovcat, on 11/21/2008, -0/+11 So, PC gaming was killed by good games? Is that a joke? People enjoyed these high quality games so much, they don't buy the mediocre ones. WOW! Truly a revelation.
- noobeffect, on 11/21/2008, -1/+11I thought it would sell more. Burning Crusade opened with 2.4 million in 24 hours when WoW still had 8 million subscribers. WotLK was released with WoW currently having 11 million subscribers. Perhaps some players are just sticking with BC for awhile.
- CoreyHalliwell, on 11/21/2008, -0/+10thats like saying the Beatles killed music. Bad music kills bad music and bad games (ie: far cry 2) kill gaming.
- blitz718, on 11/21/2008, -3/+13Or maybe the "11 million subscribers" isn't exactly an accurate number?
- Bbcversus, on 11/20/2008, -8/+17GG!
- Zyvo, on 11/21/2008, -7/+15I already have a level 80 death knight.
/nerd :( - sirbeta, on 11/21/2008, -1/+9A lot of people care, apparently.
- WhiskeyLemur, on 06/30/2009, -1/+8Resistance is futile.
- Saner, on 11/21/2008, -1/+8A little something about the servers Blizzard runs for WoW, and how much information is being processed.
http://www.wowinsider.com/2008/11/18/china-using-s ... - Broschati, on 11/21/2008, -1/+8I think most people saw this coming.
- FiP0, on 11/21/2008, -2/+8Make more world of warcraft expansions.
- alperea, on 11/21/2008, -1/+7yeah wotlk is what the expansion should have been. that BC stuff is just garbage. but I don't like that type of high-level fantasy art, I like the olden days type (like the original wow).
- getbusyliving, on 11/21/2008, -2/+8Gotta tell ya, the expansion is awesome. Way better than BC.
- javy925, on 11/21/2008, -2/+8now just imagine how fast Starcraft 2 will sell.... every single person in S. Korea will own a copy within the first ~12 hours
- HelloNavi, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5I didnt get burning crusade untill about a month after it came out because I hadn't hit level 60 and thus had no reason (I wasnt, and still am not particularly interested in the new races.) but I eventually got it.
That being said some people just either dont need it, or dont want it yet. - benman587, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5The iPhone jerkoff is that way ----->
- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5I like how people pretend to be "addicts" to this game.
Look, you aren't a victim. You just lack self control.
Then they feel the need to proclaim to the world how "they quit and will never go back" as if it somehow makes them strong willed or something. Look, claiming you're "clean" doesn't fix the fail that is your obvious inability to properly balance things in life. - WarWraith, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Uhhh... you can't roll a Death Knight WITHOUT WotLK. Kind of the point.
- Darunium, on 11/21/2008, -1/+6/wrist
I played Wow for too long and loved it, but I fear it's going to kill PC Gaming, single-player games requiring one-time purchases can't possibly compare with that kind of profit. I guess you can only have so many successful MMOs out there, so developers will be forced to work on other genres to turn profits, but the popularity of WoW has to cut into the playtime single-player games get. - nbcaffeine, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5Sure there are... if you already had crappy gear :)
- Shadowdev, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5I'd say at least 2.8 million care in fact... just a rough guess.
- tk0680, on 11/21/2008, -1/+6I'm going to Digg you up, if only to combat the couch-potato TV slobs who will doubtlessly digg you down because your enjoying a game is the only thing they can attack these days.
(You big nerd, you.) - CoreyHalliwell, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5far apart like your moms vagina.
- strangewill, on 11/21/2008, -1/+6I walked into Fry's and paid $40 in a few minutes.
- TCKC2C, on 11/21/2008, -2/+7I'm sure they're all having fun killing six snow moose.
- Gregus1032, on 11/21/2008, -0/+5i was expecting more actually.

- inactive, on 11/21/2008, -11/+15HOW MANY LIVES MUST IT CONSUME???
Pray for those who bought this. Their battle to hang on to life is just beginning. - captainanndor, on 11/21/2008, -0/+4There is a nerd-line that cannot be uncrossed, but WoW is not it.
It's not like it's LARPing or something. -
