- ZurMacht, on 07/28/2008, -0/+2People have no idea what they are talking about. Yes they are cutting content (4 classes and some cities) but they are increasing the class content for other classes.
Mythic didn't want to release a game with unfinished/unbalanced classes like other MMOs (AoC/WoW). There are still 20 classes, I think that still offers a large variety to choose from. As for cities, factions converge and populate pretty much the main city on their side in an MMO, not their own racial city. This will also make getting your city conquered much more interesting.
I've heard all the negative feedback so many times and it is really frustrating, because most if it just isn't true. At least research the game a little more before you try and trash it. - ZurMacht, on 07/28/2008, -0/+1This game is not WoW. Thanks though.

PvE instances will be bosses only and 1 group max. Open World RvR (FTW), Open world Dungeons, Tome of Knowledge, RvR Campaign ending in Capital City Seiges, Balanced (non-gear based) PvP, the list goes on.
You even said yourself "from reading its official website and articles about content cuts." That is a very breif look at this game. - linuxwarz, on 07/26/2008, -4/+4From reading its official website and the recent news articles about content cuts and other things, I have concluded that not only is this game pretty much another WoW, the game has less going for it. I sure as hell don't want to get a game that's just like WoW, which I currently play, but with less to it.

Btw 2 Capitals is better than 6 in just about everyway from a gameplay perspective. 6 cities just made the RVR slow and over complicated.
The 3 fronts are still there anyway. The removed cities are just replaced by keeps at the end of T4. Thought they made that pretty clear. - Kazumato, on 07/26/2008, -4/+1I blame EA. Mythic shouldn't have gone together with EA for the extra resources. EA just wants to release it asap, so Mythic has to cut some classes and cities... I played in the beta and it had potential, but now it's *****. Damn waste of what could have become an excellent MMO.

I originally pre-orded this game at my local gamestop.... guess i'm going to probably just let them sell my copy and lose my 10 dollars i put on it oh well, dont feel like buying it if they are cutting half the content when i can just continue to play WoW and WOTLK when it comes out.
