- Ellipsys, on 04/22/2008, -1/+8Have you seen the movie (or stage show) "The Producers" by Mel Brooks? Funny stuff. A broadway producer and his accountant figure out they make more money with a flop than a hit, due to loopholes and creative accounting. What they did is illegal in the states, but in Germany they have some sort of endowment for the arts that allows films like Boll's to be made. Its pretty much the same thing. Truthfully, its probably a great thing for 99% of independent film directors. Uwe Boll just knows how to take advantage of it.
