Top Ten Things Wrong with Games for Windows - Live

hushedcasket.com — I’m an engineer by day - hardcore gamer by night. I’ve played games “professionally” and won thousands of dollars doing it. I’ve beta tested for XBOX Live and Games for Windows – Live. However, this list is to bring certain issues to light about GFW - LIVE that will hopefully help Live on the PC be a better experience for all users.

  • fLaMePrO, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3If Microsoft don't get off their fat arses and release an update pretty soon, I'm pretty sure people are going to get angry....why does it lack all those dam features? Reading this article opened my eyes as to how crap GFW Live really is...oh well, considering it has really just launched, let's hope they can redeem themselves somehow.

  • OneGreaterThanU, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I agree 100% with instant0...so my honest reply is either wait for the service to evolve and improve or go buy a 360 and play something that is already seeking full potential.....I don't think xboxlive was perfect at launch. If you hate it that bad then maybe you should give up and try something like golf or putt putt.

In the console world, the X-box was the new comer, but if you want to play games, you're all but forced to be running windows. Even if GFW is awful, what are you going to do? There are really no other options. Sure, I can run a few games in Wine, but just about every major PC gamer uses windows.

    It will probably improve over the next few months, but don't expect it to be priority No. 1.
