- bigfatphony19, on 11/25/2008, -2/+257How the ***** is Home Alone dating Mila Kunis?
- ligyron, on 11/25/2008, -13/+200The people in the commercials don't count. They were probably given a computer and free one year subscription, and admit to having "tried it"
- SpanishMongoose, on 03/02/2009, -4/+184Mila Kunis is magically babelicious
- inactive, on 11/25/2008, -12/+115Most of those people don't play WoW.
- deltron, on 11/25/2008, -136/+239***** World of Warcraft and all you psychotic freaks.
- vegx, on 11/25/2008, -0/+92I prefer Chris Kluwe, the Minnesota Vikings' punter, applying for a WoW guild:
http://www.flying-hellfish.com/index.php?name=PNph ... - BlackJackJester, on 11/25/2008, -0/+77I really can't imagine Mr. T plays. I can' imagine him doing anything other than driving a GMC van and telling fools to quit their jibba jabba.
- Crash1337, on 11/25/2008, -1/+69Mila Kunis can gank me anytime.
- lostsymphonies1, on 11/25/2008, -1/+63Because he is young, rich, fairly attractive, does drugs and plays WoW
- houndeyex, on 11/25/2008, -1/+61Seriously. I can't imagine Ozzy playing WoW. He can barely speak. He'd get ganked or something and be like "BUhbuhbab... buhduh... SHARON!"
- floridiot2, on 11/25/2008, -2/+55He's got mad dollas yo.
- theycallmeninja, on 11/25/2008, -12/+61You know deltron, I really love playing WoW. True, it can take up a lot of time, but like everything else one indulges in, you do it in moderation. I've got a great job, most awesome girlfriend (contrary to what you believe about a lot of us). I work pretty hard so when I come home, I like to let loose some evenings by killing mythical creatures. That sounds pretty sane to me and there's a ton of people out there who agree. So on behalf of everyone who loves playing World of Warcraft, ***** YOU, deltron.
- Cuchanu, on 11/25/2008, -0/+47"Top 10 Celebrities" what a ***** concept. Call it "10 Celebrities That Play WOW" or something but to rank them is ridiculous.
- CoreyTamas, on 11/25/2008, -4/+46I'd love to see Dave Chappelle raiding with a Guild.
"Dude, wtf. We were gonna roll on that purple and you totally ninja'ed it."
"I'M RICK JAMES, BITCH" - treyd, on 11/25/2008, -1/+40@Bertman23: Holy smokes, no way! You run TWO different OSs on each computer? I can't believe you get to use firewalls as well! And to top it off, you software is JAVA BASED?!?!1one
I bet that nickelbacksong was inspired by you. - ligyron, on 11/25/2008, -1/+39http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT8maUTzE48&fmt=18
- Ndiggnation, on 11/25/2008, -5/+42I work in a computer repair shop, and you should see some of the people that bring their machines in here with WoW problems. They make us techies look like rock stars comparatively.
The last one was literally the complete cliche, mid 40s-early-50s wife who could be hot if she didn't spend 100 hours a week playing it, who also as much as came out and told me her life and marriage were falling apart as a result of the addiction. She's spent literally hundreds of dollars in the last few months bringing her machine in here to fix different things, to keep her machine going so that she can feed the WoW beast. I don't think the chain-smoking into the air intake vents is helping either.. - jefrim, on 11/25/2008, -1/+32George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher plays WoW... for all you metal heads. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW_Lv0r-l4c
"***** THE ALLIANCE! ***** DIE, YOU ***** EMO *****!" -George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher
LOL - dhyancraig, on 11/25/2008, -1/+32Why are these celebrities ranked in this order?
And why is Macaulay Culkin #1? - Lionhart, on 11/25/2008, -4/+34Congrats you work at a server farm. No one cares.
- athenius22, on 11/25/2008, -7/+35There seems to be a lot of hate for WoW players out there.
I have to admit, I played for ~3 years, and it almost destroyed my life and future career. I was almost kicked out of a high-ranking college for grades and survived... barely.
If I could play with no repercussions to my family life/career, I would. It is by far the best game I have ever played, and it is so immersive that I understand the addiction (yes, it is truly an addiction).
Those who say that they can play casually and enjoy a normal life outside of WoW have not scratched the surface of the game. As nerdy as it sounds, there is a tangible part of my ego still attached to that game, and stories like this just make me think about it more.
I hope I never play again. I would love to play, but I hope it never happens again for the sake of my wife, my job, and the people I care about.
I quit right before Wrath dropped and deleted (yes deleted) my characters. I could have sold them on eBay, but I didn't want someone else ruining my reputation in the game. *That* is how much the game mattered to me.
So if you are thinking about taking the 10-day free trial, think carefully before you do. I contend that it is a game someone *can* play casually if they do not care about excelling at it. But if you're like me, and really try to excel at it, you will find yourself stuck with the difficult decision in the future of having to quit or possibly ruining your (real) life.
My $0.02. - Crosshare, on 11/25/2008, -1/+27I love all the people that spend their time on digg ragging on people for being nerds playing WoW. Seriously, get some self perspective.
- Armorfist, on 11/25/2008, -2/+26Don't forget George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher from Cannibal Corpse.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cW_Lv0r-l4c - sarchosis, on 11/25/2008, -6/+30So much hatred, perhaps you should mellow out by killing some boars in Elwynn Forest
- klitzbtc, on 11/25/2008, -1/+25I'm not sure if you've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but she most certainly does not look like a Gremlin in that movie, or anywhere else I've seen her for that matter.
- FredFredrickson, on 11/25/2008, -0/+23You can play WoW without ruining your life - but you have to be willing to accept the fact that you're never going to have the best gear, best stats, etc.
- glimpsed, on 11/26/2008, -1/+24And thus we have discovered a new species: the server farm douchebag.
- passedoutghost, on 11/26/2008, -10/+33Not ***** likely.
- gmtwilight, on 11/25/2008, -3/+26Buried for hugely inaccurate. Chappelle hasn't played in a couple of years, Shatner, Mr. T and Verne Troyer only did ads.. never played. Trey and Matt had all their stuff basically fact checked with Blizzard.. I'd rather see better proof then the "Make Love, Not Warcraft" SP episode.
- mywhitenoise, on 11/25/2008, -2/+24^that was pretty stupid.
- mywhitenoise, on 11/25/2008, -1/+23They don't even play it. Watch the commentary for that episode.
- megaton, on 11/25/2008, -5/+26Being touched by Michael Jackson doesn't count.
- simg, on 11/25/2008, -2/+23@Bertram23: are you really saying what I think you're saying ?
- Books, on 11/26/2008, -0/+19*Enter David Attenborough* The rare species of the server farm douchebag, seen often crawling the depths of the internet searching for an easy meal. But no, this server farm douchebag will find no such victim here...
- fuzzmeister, on 11/25/2008, -0/+19Tip: If you get that addicted to a game, don't try cocaine.
- monkeysama, on 11/25/2008, -0/+19Curt Schilling is big into WoW and MMORPGs in general.
- whiteknives, on 11/25/2008, -3/+2211. Felicia Day
- Avaseal, on 11/25/2008, -7/+25You seem a tad wound up
It's all about time management.. 'foo - Rikushix, on 11/25/2008, -2/+19I second that. I won't deny that WoW is an addictive game. It's why I wouldn't dare try to play while in college. Over the summer breaks however, I play. Maybe an hour or two a day. If I can fit in a full-time job, an 1 1/2 hour workout every other day, and any other interests I have ('fraid I was single this past summer so I can't chalk that up to my credit)...well then I manage it effectively.
I'm not a "psychotic freak" just because I like to play WoW. I drink. I socialize. I support myself and live in a house with four other friends of mine. I'm a typical university student. ***** you for telling me otherwise.
edit: I will admit that picture of Macaulay Caulkin is not the least bit flattering - EvilFerret, on 11/26/2008, -2/+19Seriously I doubt half of them play WoW, or any computer games as a hobby. However that does not mean that there aren't celebs playing..... Movies want us to believe they live extremely glamorous lives, going to VIP parties and have no time to just relax. Celebs aren't robots, they are human just like the rest of us. There are plenty that play video games and probably some that play WoW during their downtime. Robin Williams is a pretty hardcore gamer from what I understand... Vin Diesel, well ***** he made his own video game company.
Overall who the ***** cares? Most celebs aren't going to say anything, because they just want to be left alone. If Obama came out and said "I've been playing L4D every night this week" (Because I was playing with a guy earlier today who sounded exactly like him...), what do you think would happen? If someone found his Steam ID he'd get millions of friend invites, and if somebody were to play with him they would probably kill him just to say "HOLY ***** I JUST KILLED OBAMA LAWLz". Then there would be the crowd that says "WTF he's wasting my tax dollars!!! I know he's human but he needs to be working 24/7!!!!"
- krebcycle, on 11/26/2008, -0/+16My dad is 100 feet tall.

- Zephik, on 11/25/2008, -0/+12If you don't give a flying ***** then why are you here?
Am I the only person who doesn't give a flying ***** about people who don't give a flying ***** about something and yet they still take the time to let everyone know that they don't give a flying ***** about it?
I'll never understand some people.
