2) Also the wireless video seemed coll but why does the worelsss device hand off a 2 foot cord ? Why wouldn't you just attach the device to the toy weapon of choice ?

1) there's buttons on the gun for movement, the gun is for looking, look/move.
2) the attached package is the battery pack

We're nowhere near as close to where this guy is, but we're working on it! We're basically trying to build the same type of thing, so it works on all existing FPS games.
