Was like an epic movie - DrDragun, on 07/08/2009, -0/+3Haha, that was the only time I lol'd at a WoW video. I was playing when that video came out, maybe 1-2 years after the Arcanite Reaper was the dominant weapon in WoW (this was like pre-molten core).
All the hardcore old-timers would still pine for the glory days of the Reaper and tell stories, leading some of the young newbs to still believe in its epic powers and try to craft one... a process which took several months of grinding bars and resulted in an obsolete blue 2h. I cannot imagine 700 hours for a few minute long video clip, even though I am very familiar with the time requirements to make good machanima, as I used to do it a few years ago. I think I spent 300 hours making the Final Fantasy Opera remake in FFXI, but it was 25 minutes long ( http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8672554679 ... ). 700 hours on for 4:28 seconds is insane. But it is cool, props to Illegal Danish.
