- Kennerk, on 07/08/2008, -2/+24the WeGame.com video players ***** suck, every 3 seconds "buffering"
***** ***** sucks - inactive, on 07/08/2008, -1/+22I can't accept the fact that 'barracks' is singular.
- idc5, on 07/08/2008, -0/+19This game is going to ruin my life..
- W0lf1o, on 07/08/2008, -1/+17StarCraft 2 then and Diablo III later, give me a good reason to ever leave my computer!
- dzw120, on 07/08/2008, -0/+15SC2. D3 still has quite a ways to go. SC2 has 3 playable races now, and they're working on balance/unit tweaks.
- mi6bomb, on 07/08/2008, -0/+13I kind of like the fact that they're not going to make it so hero class dependent like Warcraft 3.
- aydoubleyou, on 07/08/2008, -2/+14Balancing the game is what's taking so much time. SC1 was pretty much perfectly balanced, it's gotta be difficult for them to keep up to those same standards in SC2.
- Dylson, on 07/08/2008, -2/+13Get over it dude.
- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -0/+10and Get this! Sheep...(shifts eyes and then whispers)...is plural.

It is spelled AIUR. Thank you. Please keep my religion sacred, everybody! - flashthom, on 07/08/2008, -0/+7Frickin' sweet. And thank the video game gods that it's going to be concurrently released for OS X.

- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4This one is pretty good quality imo. http://www.wegame.com/watch/Starcraft_II_Terran_De ...
- d3sp, on 07/08/2008, -2/+6Is SC2 going to hit first or D3? Both seemed pretty far along.
- vpshockwave, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4Q4 09 at earliest I'd guess, but thats still pushing it I think. Maybe Q1/2 2010?
- Contrapulator, on 07/08/2008, -2/+6Thanks, I found a couple videos here that I haven't seen anywhere else. It's too bad they aren't higher quality, though.
- sexualwasabi, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4SC2 by far will be released first
- JMJimmy, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4buffering fail.
- metroidragon, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3It's Blizzard, it will ship when it's ready and no time before or after, ballparking a blizzard game's release date would give you a decade long window. These are the guys that completly scrapped Warcraft III and started from scratch... twice... because they were not satasfied with it. They did the same with the original Starcraft once.
But hey, I would rather wait 3 years for an amazing Diablo game, than get a mediocre one today. - visionaryIX, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3How about one video?
- Kallius, on 07/08/2008, -2/+5I'm going to be one of the first in line to buy this game, but this site is an epic failure. The videos each play for 5 seconds and then continue loading, but the word "buffering" appears and the video refuses to continue. Move the bar to a different position and the video plays for five seconds again, and then "buffering." Honestly, I love to read more about Starcraft 2, but this site get a burial for being so goddamn lame.
- Mongoose, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Some of the videos aren't accurate anymore. The Protoss Tempest in the "New Protoss Units" video was cancelled and replaced with the original Carrier.
- BigE89, on 07/08/2008, -1/+4Dammit thats annoying scrolling down that whole sexy...naked.... chick
fwap fwap fwap - BigE89, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2Sorry man, that was a typo..... At least its better then spelling it IRE.... I used to think they were talking about Ireland when it first came out :S
- placidified, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2...too...late...
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2The people burying you apparently don't realize that that's what it says.
- metroidragon, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2I attended Blizzcon in Paris recently (or rather, the World of Warcraft Worldwide Invitational by it's official name) and I played Starcraft II quite a bit. Completed 7 games, and spent a couple more just experimenting with the tech trees.
The basic mechanics are still intact, it's still a game where there are large armies battling each other, but at the same time, there are some fundamental differences which are making smaller skirmishes more common. Each race now has easier ways to go in through an opponents "back door" persay. The Zerg's Nydus colonies are much better now, you can spawn as many Nydus Worms as you wish out of them, you can load unlimited units into any of the worms colony and have them leave from any. Since overlords can now spawn creep, nydusing nito your opponents base isn't a big challange, I did it twice against my friend.
Toss' Phase Prisms are also a good jumping unit. You can warp any unit you want into any place that has an energy field, and the Prisms can create a field anywhere they are. Instant warping. You can also BUILD units into any place that has a warp field if you do the Warp Gate upgrade, which allows Gateways to build a unit anywhere there is a power field in approx. 3 or 4 seconds. Then there is about a 10 second cooldown before you can warp another unit in, and units cannot be cued into Warp Gates. DT's inbehind the enemy base with ease.
Terrans, in the reverse role, can box themselves much easier now. The Supply Depots being able to submerge into the ground to allow units to pass by is an amazing addition. but because of it the backdoor entrances have become quite common.
Some units that used to be small and mass-able are also much more expensive and powerful. The Hydra for starters now costs 100 of each resource and takes up 2 food. There seem to be more high tier units as well. Before the "high tier" units consisted of the archon, battlecruiser, carrier, arbiter, ultralist, and a couple others. Now you can add the Collosus, the Zerg Queen, the Thor, and the Mothership to that list... minus the arbiter. Mid-tier units have been completly changed up, with the Hydra now being mid-tier, the goliath and the wraith gone and replaced with the Viking that fills both roles, the dragoon gone and replaced with 2 units that each serve a similiar, but still very unique, roles. Yes, middle game is completly changed, but I actually enjoyed the middle-tier gaming, I think it's been done fantasticly with the exception of the Hydra being there. I think that they only put the Hydra in the middle tier because of a lack of a better unit, rather than because they felt they actually wanted it there though. (That's person opinion of course) - BigE89, on 07/08/2008, -1/+3I doubt that, I think they learned alot from the first game. But you never know till its released, or at least beta tested
- Mist0r_Wiggles, on 07/08/2008, -2/+4mom?
- GorfTron, on 07/08/2008, -2/+4LoL, the Thor unit response is hilarious. "Oh, it is on!!" "Done Deal!"
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1vpshockwave does not lie.
- tcasey22, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2In the same vein.. How long away is D3? I've searched endless Blizzard FAQ's and interviews and I have only come up with "It will ship when its ready." Anyone have any idea, or at the very least a ballpark estimate?
- vpshockwave, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1Sheep.
No really. - samuelmcm, on 07/08/2008, -1/+2I am so hyped up about this game! cant wait >_
- DaHuuuuuudge, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1Try reading the "artivles" and figure that out for yourself :P
- joshcxa, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1I've been away from the interwebs for a couple of weeks and already I have seen a couple of SC2 artivles hit the front page. Have I missed something in those 2 weeks?

- My571k, on 07/09/2008, -0/+1The game didn't even come out yet...
- aaronisreal, on 07/08/2008, -1/+21-2-3-4-5, buffering...
- JMJimmy, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1I have pre-warned my girlfriend that I will not exist once this comes out... her response:
"I want to play too!"
I love my life! :) - placidified, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1nature calls ?
- DukeMojo, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1[x] Reasons to live on
- Zpanzer, on 07/08/2008, -0/+1I remember reading an interview with some blizzard dude that said that their plan was to release their games around a year to year and a half after the game was announced, so I'm hoping for Q2 Q3 2009
