Spore Includes Youtube Integration

ripten.com — Among the flurry of details released today about Spore, coming September 7th for the PC, one interesting tidbit might have been missed along the way. When you create your custom alien race, spaceship, or vehicles in Spore, you can upload videos of them to your Youtube account with just one click from inside Spore.

    Honestly, I can't see why spore vidoes from every player need to be seeded onto youtube, all this is going to do is fragment the search results for anyone trying to find reviews, TV spots or other actual custom content. Now everyone will have to chew though billions of canned videos of someone's 10yo son making phallic creatures or something as equally pointless.

And they want people to know about the game and want it, so do it in a manner that ensures people can/will see it. It's not as if you have to watch the 90% crap that is posted to YouTube anyway, so is it really going to be that big of a hardship?
