From devs abusing there ablities and info on strats to over powering there own chossen race/class!
The devs have been given free reign to do as they please ingame. Granting special acts of kindness to there friends that break soe own rules to just flat out abuse of powers.

But once I get the basic grasp of the game down Its time to find the fan sites. 9 times out of ten the hardcore raiders or equivalent are the most knowledgeable players around. The parse stats and study game play. Even if your not one of them there's no reason not to take advantage of the work they do for the community.
But anyways that's not what this should be about. It should be about SOE's completely ***** up treatment of the player who has done more for them than any single person. LFG and flames generate tons of interest for the game...Fact. It gives the people who want to bitch a place to go to stay away from the newer people on your precious official forums...Fact. He encouraged as much as possible with out censorship fair treatment of devs in order to get them to come around more. SOE has consistently lied to its customerbase, censored their complaints, and offered favors to their friends in game whether it was just through acquantances or giving out things for sexual favors. Those of us already invested in this game are stuck until this coming May, if your thinking of purchasing a SONY MMO product I would suggest against it. Sony does not care about it's customers and this is a prime example in support of that. EQ2 is dieing, you can easily see it by the messed up game play, huge class inbalances, and totally messed up itemization. If your a raider get used to seeing solo questable gear as being the best choice for you over fabled gear.

- bluehound, on 03/12/2008, -0/+2Sure, there are idiots on eq2flames, just as there are on the official forums. The thing with eq2flames is when you look past all the rib jabbing and flaming it has the best technical information in the game regarding game mechanics and class information.
You can go to the official forums to get basic information, if you want to be a better player, go to eq2flames and filter through the trash to find all the gems. The class forums are 100x better and people don't flame there even if you ask newb questions (usually).

Hollywood could try and would certainly fail to accurately portray the depth of ignorance and total stupidity that are the Everquest 2 Community and Development Teams and the rancid swill they serve labeled as 'customer service and fun-game-you-should-pay-$15-a-month-for'. EQ2Flames.com allows all sides of all stories without a starting prejudice or I would have never participated. The guilty parties are playing hide-and-go-seek and hoping we'll forget about this. I don't know about anyone else, but I won't. They want a free pass? Go fish, and let the staredown begin.
Some say that severing the site from SOE's "cool club" was the news. But the site needs NOBODY's blessing to thrive but the players. I say the real issue was a crooked developer giving one guild/clan dominance over the entire server, and misrepresenting the accomplishments to the entire rest of the game.

I know this is a mmo, but I have played over 210days have struggled to better my character like a lot of others have. Why is one person/guild better than another or deserve to handed the "Silver Spoon" for the game. This is very unjust to all the customers. As for the "SOE Official Forums" I've read thru a lot of post over the years I have been playing and 90% of the information supplied in those forums is BS. Granted if you started playing yesterday, ummm there might something decent in there, but for those that have been playing at lvl cap there is not much. Without the organization of the WW Server communications, I do not think many of our classes would had gotten as far as they had on their Epic Weapon Quests. Which all that info was organized and supplied (at least for my class, Troub..you all were awesome) by the forums ran by LFG..EQ2Flames. So the recent turn of events..I do not seen any further information being added to the "Official Forums" besides SOE can kiss our Customer Based Arses! The CS Dept for SOE leaves much to be desired. The Game DEV team needs an overhaul. The Community Relations Dept needs to be fired for stupidity! I for one think SOE made a huge mistake this time. LFG 1, SOE 0
