I mean there was no other game where you could dig big pitfalls by throwing a bunch of grenades on 1 spot, or make your own door using a rocket launcher. not to mention the single player campaign was pretty good. Cant wait to play RF 3.

i had serious doubts about this franchise after red faction 2 tanked.
I played the Red Faction: Guerrilla demo on PS3 and i was very impressed, overlooking the GTA type formula, the destructible environments, responsive gameplay, and nice graphics kept me playing the one level demo for hours. im leaning towards buying this game right away on june 2nd, if it weren't for gamefly, i will probably purchase it after playing the final version once. my only concern in the total amount of gameplay hours it can offer in single player mode. anyone know how many hours of play this game is supposed to offer? - LoudMusic, on 05/16/2009, -0/+3I enjoyed playing the first one. - IPetPuppies, on 05/16/2009, -0/+1I absolutely loved red faction 1! It was fast paced, a variety of weapons and destructible environments. When number 2 came out I was pretty disappointed, it just didn't have the same feeling as the first one. I haven't tried guerrilla's demo yet but hopefully the red faction series can be rejuvenated by the third iteration of the game.
