- nicksauce, on 10/10/2007, -14/+401Is there dog fighting?
- fudgeigor, on 10/10/2007, -27/+387Give me a ***** break "have the white majority of this country ever been enslaved for 150+ years?" No, but why the hell should I be to blame because of what happened back then? I am white, but I didn't cause slavery. Black people now didn't have to deal with slavery either, so why is it ok to make a "black only college" but not a "white only college" It is not my problem that a bunch of psycho biggots decided to run around wearing bedsheets, so I don't appreciate hearing "oh its cuz im black aint it?" No it aint because your black, its because you are a ***** retard who thinks I care what color your skin is. It was over 200 years ago, the most cotton you have ever picked is out of an Advil bottle, so get the ***** over it.
- ftblstr2319, on 10/10/2007, -24/+309guns are allowed in game then? How will that work.
- Daunting, on 10/10/2007, -9/+290I'm black too. If they break out the watermelon and Kool-Aid I might have to buy my first football game in 5 years.
Too bad the game looks like it sucks. - AwesomeMonster, on 10/10/2007, -8/+273finally, games like this brings us hope for Blacula the game!
- Nudar, on 10/10/2007, -11/+270You do realize that the historically black schools are organized into segregated conferences and that they even have their own Black Football Poll that includes only historically black schools and there is even a black bowl game every year. Nobody seems to care about that.
- supermajic, on 10/10/2007, -3/+214From the Company's Website: "Our vision is to shed a long overdue and genuine light on worlds and cultures forgotten or unfairly represented. To create deep and fun experiences that can be shared and enjoyed by audiences of all backgrounds. "
... by reinforcing black stereotypes! - Renton, on 10/10/2007, -7/+206I guess I'm not the only one that gets confused between the NCAA and the NAACP.
- bluetytanium, on 10/10/2007, -3/+191They spelled "extreme" with an X.
What a clever and original marketing ploy. - dlinkwit27, on 11/02/2007, -31/+213Can someone explain to me why we can have black colleges in the US, but not white ones?

- lacronicus, on 10/10/2007, -26/+154American minorities (blacks, really. I've not heard one single complaint about racism from asians or mexicans) have this thing about everything being equal, no minority left behind, so to speak. They have even gone so far as to require that a certain number of minorities are hired for every few whites, so as to eliminate descrimination in the workplace, no matter what their qualifications are. It even goes so far as to say that if only whites apply for a job, nobody can be hired, since there needs to be a proportional number of minorities. The double standard is that this does not work in reverse. The public is fine if only minorities are hired, or even considered. We even have scholarships that are specifically for minorities, eliminating any white candidates, such as those from the "united negro college fund". In this case, they have made a game that consists only of african americans, despite the presence of a large number of non-black students in the NCAA. There was even public outcry when RE5 consisted only of blacks, despite the fact that the game took place in africa. If there is an outcry over that, surely they should do the same for this. That is the double standard, and it really pisses me off. That I am restricted from certain scholarships, jobs, and other benefits, just because I am not black makes my situation no better than that of the african americans who came before. They clamored for equality, and got more benefits than we can even give ourselves. The worst part about it is that, aside from a very vocal few, the members of the african american community that actually worked for it are nearly as annoyed about it as I am. They know that this isn't what they fought for, but now their younger generation is exploiting their hard work. My beef is that, if the past is any indication, things like this will only continue, and get worse, and there is very little anyone can do to stop it.
- orirawlings, on 10/10/2007, -3/+110I'm white and offended by this game, simply because it looks so terrible.
- Klydethegreater, on 10/10/2007, -8/+115Why?
- davidjunit, on 10/10/2007, -7/+113"Enjoy a dogfight during half-time or watch hoes shake their booties to popular songs like "Hoe Shake Dat Booty" and "Booty Shakin' Hoes"."
- Kylde, on 10/10/2007, -27/+132Dugg, but hell, what's the beef? I'm white UK, and *I'M* a minority in my area, who gives a s**t
- SirNoobius, on 10/10/2007, -28/+128because blacks haven't learned how to spell extreme yet
- Boomh4u3r, on 10/10/2007, -13/+106You call me, "redneck" ,"hillbilly", "slaker" , "Cracker", "Honkey", "Whitey", "Gringo" and you think it's OK.
But when I call you coon, jiggaboo, Kike, sand *****, rag head ,Towelhead, WOP, Camel Jockey, Gook, slant eyes or Chink you call me a racist.
-You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you, so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?
-You have the United Negro College Fund.
-You have Martin Luther King Day.
-You have Black History Month.
-You have Cesar Chavez Day.
-You have Yom Hashoah
-You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
-You have the NAACP.
-You have BET.
-If we had WET(white entertainment television) ...we'd be racist.
-If we had a White Pride Day... you would call us racist.
-If we had white history month... we'd be racist.
-If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.
-If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.
-In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.
-Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them... they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.
-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
I am white.
I am proud.
But, you call me a racist.
Why is it that only whites can be racists?
Now watch, I'll be a racist for posting this - AlexMorph, on 10/10/2007, -23/+116Except that White College Football would have 5 teams with like 10 players each. That wouldn't be fun.
- j0hn, on 10/10/2007, -3/+86I think this game is going to boycott itself. It looks like crap regardless of the title.
- ClOlD, on 10/10/2007, -2/+83And the question we've gone too many posts without asking:
Why are we making/buying Race-Based Sports Game 2K8 anyway? - blitzkriegpunk, on 10/10/2007, -5/+83I'll remember that last part. You know... about the Advil. lmfao

Crap! Inner city gangsta-rap stereotype alert! EJECT, EJECT! - jpwhitmore, on 10/10/2007, -2/+72http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MEAC i blieve that is what you are talking about. I worked for a broadcasting company televising a MEAC game. There were many students wearing shirts that said "the blacker the college the greater the knowledge".
- sleepless, on 10/10/2007, -4/+70Rockstar might as well make a game call "KKK : Experience the South like you never have before."
- Terr01, on 10/10/2007, -2/+68More lighthearted by potentially disturbing game titles from... uh... not me...
"Simcity: Apartheid Expansion", make sure you rezone your farms!
Peter Molyneux's "White & Black"
"Pikmin 3: Emancipation", introducing a new color of pikmin...
Parappa the Rappa: Gangsta Style

Rap Hero: It doesn't matter if you hit the notes or not! - bjornski, on 10/10/2007, -4/+64But if white people "exude pride in their race", it's racist. Right?
- mixmastabeef, on 10/10/2007, -6/+63if there was an asian football league, i would be proud
- pintomp3, on 10/10/2007, -7/+64there is one, the electoral college.
- dethsesh, on 10/10/2007, -7/+64i would buy this just because it is offensive to people
- zeddie2001, on 10/10/2007, -7/+61Ahhh, finally a game for those who can't stand looking at white people... wtf!?
- reddevil3, on 10/10/2007, -23/+76Are people that ignorant about their own histories? Black churches/colleges/schools (like Howard University) came about due to the white majority not allowing them into their own societies. The civil rights movement was only 40 years ago...hopefully soon we won't have the need for such separation, but at the present time we do.
Same thing goes for when people complain about BET. Every other network is WET...NBC, CBS, ABC, etc. It's very hard for "black" shows to get on these channels since the audience won't watch it, that's why BET came about (though now it's owned by Viacom and run by old white men). - WernerCD, on 10/10/2007, -4/+55Token: Jesse Jackson.. is NOT.. the emperor... of BLACK PEOPLE!!!!
Stan: He told my dad he was - Terr01, on 10/10/2007, -1/+52Anyone so easily amused must have a console instead :P
- PasteEater, on 10/10/2007, -5/+52Ok Ben, here's my advice to you:
Go to Detroit. I'm from there. If you are white, you will get mean-mugged when you go into predominantly black establishments, or worse. Then again, I would bet dollars to doughnuts that you wouldn't even go into the places I would take you for fear of your life. Seriously. All because you are white.
Just because you haven't experienced racism as a white man, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. - Sputs, on 10/10/2007, -8/+53Black people dont like not being a minority
- RedNote, on 10/10/2007, -4/+48I'm offended by how awful that game looks.
- Nickbc87, on 10/10/2007, -3/+47Kiss it......thats right, apologize.
- Fracture98, on 10/10/2007, -0/+42Not sure if you're black?
- jpwhitmore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+41not at all. Everyone has the right to be proud about where they came from. However it is kind of ironic the double standard in todays society. Couldn't everyone be proud of their heritage but still look past color?
- ubuntuedgy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+40I had a friend in the Army that had that same shirt. My first thought was "I wonder what he would say (he was black obviously) if I had worn a shirt that said "the whiter the college the greater the knowledge""?
- monkzero, on 10/10/2007, -3/+41"What the ***** is juice? I want grape DRINK, baby!"
- jasonj75, on 10/10/2007, -2/+40There are no historically white colleges other than BYU? You don't get out much do you?
- lucid270, on 10/10/2007, -5/+42Rouchrown! Rouchrown!... Damn, I'd buy that game. Give me martial arts fights between players and tackles/dodges straight out of kung fu movies and I'd never play anything else.
- Drahkar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+36More than likely he and all the others would have complained to the CO to have you get rid of the shirt. The People in the united states, especially those of a 'Minority' suffer from a huge case of the 'Don't mess with me' feelings. Its part of what is wrong with the country right now. Everyone just looks for a reason to be offended. Its not about trying to bring the country together. Its about individuals trying to get power over others in any means possible.
- RasutoIbuki, on 10/10/2007, -3/+39I do indeed support a country that gives everyone an equal opportunity for success. However, to say that African-American people do not have that in today's US is just silly. Companies are REQUIRED to have a certain amount of minority workers. It's called the Equal Opportunity Act. Look it up, you can get in a lot of trouble if you have a large business that has no minorities in it simply by a person in a minority that applied to work there, qualified or not, that was not hired and decided to complain. This would be taken on this person's word alone, whether this person was honest or not. The real problem is that minority parents who have experienced real racism teach their children to harbor hate and to feel victimized because that's how it was to them. Like the digg story a few months ago about the lady in Canada who bought the n**ger-brown couch, she said the worst part was she had to teach her child what the word was and how bad it was. If she taught her child that this was a word that only ignorant people used and that she was above it, and to never pay attention to anyone that said it, she'd just brush it off. How many white people get up in arms about being called a Cracker? Like, two? The only way to beat racism is to stop giving it so much weight. Unless a person is being relentless and hostile, it's best to ignore it.
