- Coolone84, on 10/09/2008, -0/+3Valve should at least give criteria as to how they judge games that make it onto Steam. Since it's Valves services being used here, I don't think having some of the profits going to Valve is too much to ask for.

http://www.impulsedriven.com - lacronicus, on 10/09/2008, -2/+2It's very simple. Putting your game on steam is their investment in you; they put up the servers, they host your game. If they don't think that your game will be successful enough to warrant that investment, then they won't host it.
I'd like to see more games on steam as much as the next guy, but I must also acknowledge that steam is not a public service, and should not be required to host any and every game that comes out.
