- shujin, on 11/06/2008, -3/+96always thought it was Alt-F4
- gigitrix, on 11/05/2008, -4/+75Great! I love single player cheats as they enhance the gameplay experience and extend a game. However, online is a very heinous crime and should be punishable by death. These tools just encourage developers to make everything happen on the server, as they should. Anything sent to and from a client cannot be trusted.
- mwalker52, on 11/05/2008, -1/+49This reminds me of the Commodore 64 peek and poke commands used to read and write values into specific memory addresses.
- ravage86, on 11/06/2008, -3/+47Digg is scary, lots of people here are willing to kill over silly things.
- quioxl, on 11/06/2008, -1/+42Amazingly, this works with Quicken, too! Now I'm rich!
- meleemaster500, on 11/06/2008, -1/+39um... this has been around for a long time, and has existed in many forms, like cheat engine, and other incarnations of the same program...
- twiztidsinz, on 11/06/2008, -0/+36I should kill you for saying that.....
- awtripp, on 11/06/2008, -3/+38Holy crap that is awesome! I can't believe the dev's leave the ALT-F4 menu in there! SOO MANY CHEATS!
- Archaic1, on 11/06/2008, -3/+35Keep in mind that this won't work in any properly coded client-server based multiplayer game, since any useful values will likely be kept server-side.

Did it work? - reyoo30309, on 11/06/2008, -5/+35Interesting but rather amateur for a memory editor.
- haikuFU, on 11/06/2008, -3/+31Actually, when viewing Digg, if you hit Alt-F4, it will show you everyone's source IP.
- Gnome1300, on 11/05/2008, -0/+25PEEK!
- Grazfather, on 11/06/2008, -2/+26Macs can't play games.
- PacoDEmu, on 11/06/2008, -2/+24They have this really cool feature in the digg comments that makes it so if you type your password you can see it, but everybody else only sees asterisks.
Check it out ***********
That's my password, that I can see but you can't!
The crazy things kids can do with computers today! - sexybobo, on 11/06/2008, -2/+23That is what this is.
- davidron, on 11/06/2008, -2/+22@PacoDEmu: Cool. Let me try it!

Neat. I can see it and you can't! Thanks for the tip! - costumemaker, on 11/06/2008, -1/+18where would I be without having learned BASIC in the 80s when I was a kid.
(maybe gettind laid?) - jwolcott, on 11/06/2008, -0/+17Good then, cuz I'm a slut.
- BriFi, on 11/06/2008, -0/+17"Game Genie is BACK!...in poke form"
- HamNCheese, on 11/06/2008, -2/+18Flash games? lol
- UselessTrivia, on 11/06/2008, -0/+14Aww man really?! I keep trying this, but it must be unstable cause my browser keeps on crashing....
- Chainheart2, on 11/06/2008, -0/+14Or, just use a reliable RAM editor that has been available for years (cheatengine)
- lowtolerance, on 11/06/2008, -1/+14i don't think oregon trail has any cheats
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+11POKE!
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+11With your dick?
- strangewill, on 11/06/2008, -2/+12I like cheats that create scenarios the game typically doesn't allow, like 100x the bad guys and a faster firing weapon and weird stuff like that.
Just beating the level quicker, nah. - inactive, on 11/06/2008, -0/+9Start
- aandkh, on 11/06/2008, -2/+11I play my games like a man
- Rockkybox, on 11/06/2008, -1/+10There are loads of cheats that seriously expand the game, the perfect example is San Andreas, the sheer number of cheats gives you loads of possibilities, i remember combining pedestrians carry weapons and pedestrians want to kill you being good fun, and flying car cheat was always a winner......
*starts installing san andreas* - TVarmy, on 11/06/2008, -0/+8An ethical cheater only cheats on servers set aside for cheating. Everyone wins.
- ElementsOfDance, on 11/06/2008, -1/+9you're a ***** comedian aren't you?
- wtfhaxorx, on 11/06/2008, -1/+9Please, join us in the future - along with broadband internet and cell phones.
- Fracture98, on 11/06/2008, -0/+8Right hand firmly on your joystick...
- kseymore, on 11/06/2008, -0/+7Exactly what I thought :)
I have some c=64 number that pops up in my head every year but I don't remember what it is: 56320. I can't remember if that was a place you PEEKed to see the joystick state, POKEd to change the screencolor, or something else. But that number is burned into my brain. - OutThisLife, on 11/06/2008, -1/+8That's why you trick it with packets brah.
- KnightMareInc, on 11/06/2008, -1/+8its 1998 all over again!
- KyleGoetz, on 11/06/2008, -1/+8↑↑↓↓←→←→BA.
- CaptCarrot, on 11/06/2008, -0/+7There's nothing like running through DOOM! in God Mode to release a day's worth of frustrations. :)
- ShAd0wS, on 11/06/2008, -0/+7unfortunately being retarded isn't a bannable offense.
- Novacain, on 11/06/2008, -0/+7Artmoney and Cheatengine are far superior to this dinky thing.
- flangepiece, on 11/06/2008, -0/+6For some reason, that brought to mind the image of a nerd being expelled from a chicken's sphincter. *boke*
- psion01, on 11/06/2008, -1/+7It goes back even farther than that, kid!
- ppilatee, on 11/06/2008, -0/+6ArtMoney is much better then this.
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -2/+8I dugg you up for making me laugh.
Then I dugg you down for being a dumb ass. - Narcism, on 11/06/2008, -2/+8Congratulations on not being intelligent.
- Earthboundkc, on 11/06/2008, -0/+6I sometimes like to use cheats the second time I play a game (after I beat it). If you enjoyed the storyline or just want to quickly go through the game again for fun (or boredom), it can be good.
- Fracture98, on 11/06/2008, -0/+6Whores cheat? Does that mean I wasn't her first, either?!
- h0jew, on 11/07/2008, -0/+6Try searching 8-byte, most flash based games have values stored as such. Also would recommend cheatengine or artmoney instead of Poke.
- miker71, on 11/06/2008, -0/+61998? You mean 1982? I can't wait until Romantic Robot bring out Multiface for the PC ....
