- KyleGoetz, on 08/28/2008, -1/+19I don't think that you haven't played in a while should matter when measuring "old school"itude. I think the quiz mistakes "hardcord" for "old school." I played CS a long time ago, which would make me old school, but I couldn't tell you ***** about 1.6 or Source because those are newer versions and I've not had time to play for a long, long time.
For example, if you were to find a football player from the 40s, he's old school. However, he may not know the rule changes for the past twenty years (replay video, etc.). That doesn't negate his oldschoolitude. It may, however, affect his hardcoreness quotient regarding modern football.
