  • carlosos, on 03/14/2009, -2/+9The mod isn't related to Halo at all. The mod started as an alpha to try to see if an RTS can be made with the source engine (the same engine as the original game itself).
    Halo Wars is creating an RTS with a different engine that includes characters from Halo.

    Halogen was shaping up to be really great. I was at Derelict Studios while Halogen was there and I can assure you the quality was astounding.

    However, all is not lost. A good majority of their assests are being used in Asylum, a TC mod for CnC 3

  • kornwin, on 03/14/2009, -0/+2Anyone ever play Iron Grip: The Oppression? It's a sweet hl2 RTS mod that has a feature where you can go into first person mode and play your characters. By the looks of the site, they've really come far since then, but it's still a really fun mod.. To bad no one ever played online though.

    Good luck to the team, I cannot wait for your next release.

    BTW: The title is rather inaccurate. I was about to bury it, but I cannot bury exposure for a very deserving mod.
