- JackSrenton, on 02/08/2009, -2/+218I like that they retained the "James Bond doesnt have a left hand" feature.
- kaynesan, on 02/08/2009, -1/+203Goldeneye + Zelda OOT = Half of my childhood
- Popeiler, on 02/08/2009, -0/+138The Klobb still sucks.
- Spacenoodle, on 02/08/2009, -1/+121Ugh, I'll only be playing on servers with no Oddjob.
- Vosem, on 02/08/2009, -42/+159I LOVED Goldeneye on N64 but am I the only one who thinks this looks like ass?
- manbeef, on 02/08/2009, -3/+115you NEVER played N64 Goldeneye?
I think you should leave the internet. - john2kx, on 02/08/2009, -0/+98Looks to be about 5x faster than Goldeneye.
- copypastry, on 02/08/2009, -0/+85SLAPS ONLY
- Valyn, on 02/08/2009, -0/+65Its not Goldeneye without the "Strafing at a 45 degree angle goes faster"
- m3arvk, on 02/08/2009, -4/+57I thought about this the other day. It's amazing to me that no professional shop decided to snatch this up. A super polished Goldeneye game on the Source engine would sell like hotcakes.
Anyway, this looks like it's getting better. Good luck guys and I hope this makes the front page. - specialcases, on 02/08/2009, -2/+49Thats because now you realise how dated Golden Eye is, it doesnt look too good anymore
- DiggzDE, on 02/08/2009, -0/+40Bond is so awesome he chooses to play with his left hand tied behind his back. Like any good Double-O-agent.
- teriyakisause, on 02/08/2009, -0/+39looking at those levels brings back memories
- inactive, on 02/08/2009, -1/+38In the world of espionage, everyone is jogging around like a secret Ministry of Silly Walks agent.
- copypastry, on 02/08/2009, -0/+37Aw ***** I just reminded myself of my last 4 dates.
- vagrantwade, on 02/08/2009, -3/+38This looks good.
And I mean LOOKS good. Because it plays like complete ass. - RevJonathan, on 02/08/2009, -0/+33N64 FTMFW
- Brassbud, on 02/08/2009, -0/+25You mean, you don't run faster at a 45 degree angle in real life?
- inactive, on 02/08/2009, -0/+23No no, that's not what he was referring to. He was referring to the fact that in the game, he'd wield two-handed weapons like assault rifles and such with one hand.
- ZombieSociety, on 02/08/2009, -0/+23'99.
- dolbinau, on 02/08/2009, -5/+27Burn in hell
- jordanisj, on 02/08/2009, -0/+21Fantastic, downloading it now.
Oh, memories... - mycoplasma, on 02/08/2009, -0/+21Glad to see that the sniper rifle no longer looks like a super-soaker.
- Hanny26, on 02/08/2009, -0/+20Dual wielding rocket/grenade launchers would be tough with no left hand though!
- MaruLono, on 02/08/2009, -0/+20pfft.. i remember the times when Bond couldn't even jump!
- FinalSight, on 02/08/2009, -1/+20The original SSB took up the other half for me...
- bearcat8543, on 02/08/2009, -0/+19i welcome people to play as oddjob
BOOM HEADSHOT - mrhahn, on 02/08/2009, -0/+17IIRC Nintendo/EA couldn't agree over licensing. Such a shame.
- Brizzyce, on 02/08/2009, -0/+16This might be a stupid question, but does anyone know if the original story mode is included in the mod? Don't get me wrong, Goldeneye multiplayer was the *****, but the campaign was amazing as well.
- Scott2, on 02/08/2009, -0/+16As long as straferunning is still the fastest way to get around, i'm in.
- jcsoc, on 02/08/2009, -5/+20looks like a game from 1999
- alittleroy101, on 02/08/2009, -0/+14Wowzers. The original had no crosshair on screen or iron sights. If you hit the R button, a red crosshair would appear, but you were a sitting duck if you used it.
- Lochie, on 02/09/2009, -0/+14and Mario Kart 64.
- Oktoeatfish, on 02/08/2009, -0/+14Awesome. Great memories. Natalya was my first crush.
- GenericJoshman, on 02/09/2009, -4/+18THIS FREE CONTENT DISPLEASES ME.
You ***** idiots.. - rabidmonkey1, on 02/08/2009, -0/+11This game is actually really good. It's a nearly perfect copy of the n64 version with some minor tweaks to it, such as larger levels - which, imho, adds to the game. It really was just a recording problem. Give it a try - I've been using it since the early early alpha releases.
- inactive, on 02/09/2009, -0/+10If you dont have License to Kill turned on, you were never a true Bond player.
- TheMidnight, on 02/09/2009, -0/+10That sounds vaguely obscene.
- jeremymccurdy, on 02/08/2009, -0/+10Exactly, the game looks like it plays closer to Quake 3 than Goldeneye.
- terracottapai, on 02/09/2009, -0/+10Gotta love all those 20 degree angles on a woman's head.
- Goosecomics, on 02/08/2009, -17/+26This does like horrible. I think I'll stick with Counter-Strike.
- crazyhorse13, on 02/09/2009, -0/+9You should have phrased that differently.
- Brassbud, on 02/08/2009, -0/+9I don't know about you but I was playing GoldenEye in 1997, and also I think the game mechanics are yet to be matched by any other game. The core mechanics in PD weren't quite as good.
- BirdCatcher, on 02/08/2009, -0/+8haha they didn't even include video of it, just a caption.
- Schmich, on 02/08/2009, -2/+10Agreed although then again it's not new. I played a previous beta many months ago. Looks slightly better in-game. The guy recording seemed to have a choppyish computer, at least when recording :x
- Nihilius, on 02/08/2009, -0/+8Amazing Mod.
Rep to all the Devs. - terracottapai, on 02/09/2009, -1/+9Lonely chuckle, isn't it?
- TronSolo, on 02/08/2009, -0/+8Can I use the N64 controller, though?
- 83457, on 02/08/2009, -1/+8@manbeef, I played this mod months ago with kids that weren't born yet when the original came out. Not that suprising
- ryan83189, on 02/08/2009, -2/+9And you will be the only one.
