- requiem3, on 03/05/2008, -6/+121The title didn't give it away huh?
- Cerialthriller, on 03/05/2008, -5/+63thanks for the tip Tom Brokaw
- xTRUMANx, on 03/05/2008, -39/+96After reading this, this seems like an article that is only relevant to anyone who plays WoW. Everyone else might as well avoid.
- Flashman, on 03/05/2008, -6/+54So if it's only relevant to the nine million or so WoW players, it doesn't belong on Digg?
- cledford, on 03/05/2008, -12/+60I have no idea what this is or why it is news but I am going to Digg it because it might make a nerd happy somewhere in the world.
- Probatus, on 03/05/2008, -11/+35In this game even the winner is a loser...
- MODAT, on 03/05/2008, -22/+46are you f'in seriouse? this made the front page?
I'm going to go watch cspan. - hollywoodphony, on 03/06/2008, -1/+22When I glanced at this title on Digg, I thought it said "Wrath of the Lion King". No Simba, no Digg!
- sockpuppets, on 03/05/2008, -4/+22I've been playing "reality" lately. It's got pretty good graphics, and the ability to smell and touch female characters is a plus.
- Dantetheinferno, on 03/05/2008, -4/+19Yay! As a mage, i was expecting the only thing we'd get is +10 extra food/water created each cast
- inactive, on 03/06/2008, -0/+15However, if inexperienced at this game, please make note that touching female characters in the incorrect fashion can result in loss of levels and powers.
- Ch0chi, on 03/05/2008, -1/+16/Dance..... /Cheer..... /moo?
- inactive, on 03/05/2008, -2/+16You might want to work on your spelling first...
- Encablossa, on 03/05/2008, -3/+16Lightning Bolt.... Lightning bolt!
- usaf1984, on 03/06/2008, -4/+17damn all the wow bashing whats up with that? Go outside and such, i play wow with like 20 or 30 people from base and have a wife 2 year old and a dog. 2.5 nuclear family and all and i still have time to melt faces in the game, give it a rest. Lol if you so worried about us going outside and talking to people take a look in the mirror digg troll's your worse than us.
p.s dont let the grammer nazi's git u it:s the enternet not english clas - JorgeGT, on 03/06/2008, -2/+14The only way to win is not to play :S
- matt646, on 03/05/2008, -0/+1110 million
- arcticblue, on 03/06/2008, -2/+12This is just as newsworthy as "In-game communication coming to PS3 this Summer" and I don't see anyone complaining there. Both of these stories are only interesting to a certain group of people. If you don't like it, skip it. Filter the games section out of the front page if you don't like it (just like I filtered all those lame pictures from the Images section).
And for all you people who migrated over here from MySpace or whatever other social web hole you crawled out of and are complaining about this, please go back to your online diary and let the world know how unfair Digg is being to you because we really do care what you have to say. Be sure to use pink text on a purple background or a really huge background image with lots of text on it because that really gets our attention and lets us know just how serious you are. - Cyberbladewolf, on 03/05/2008, -2/+11Please tell me the secret to your marvelous deduction skills.
- scooterbaga, on 03/05/2008, -3/+12Sorry to be a stickler here... should that be 'Thanks for the news flash"? ...You know, cause Brokaw is known as a newscaster... not so much a helpful tip guy...
- Koskun, on 03/06/2008, -0/+9Completely reverse that. The game is tons easier to start playing now. From level 10 to 60 they increased XP gains from quests and required less to level, as well as tweaked (aka made slightly easier) the instances in that level range.
True that a lot has been added, especially with the expansion, but it really is a lot easier than it was. - YellowSnowDemon, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8Reality is a boring game. Waaaay too much grinding. That, and the userbase is really stupid.
- TheCount, on 03/06/2008, -0/+8Except 10 million people don't pay you 15 bucks a month to drop those deuces.
- sroop, on 03/05/2008, -1/+9Kevin Rose = Dark Tipster guy. Those were the days.
- daridave, on 03/05/2008, -7/+15/give life
...please take it. - cawfee, on 03/06/2008, -3/+11People who bash WoW with stereotypical posts either have a history of overplaying it themselves and are trying to sound "better", or have never played it at all and are just spewing out things they heard / read someone else say. They somehow think that not playing the game will give them any more of a life than they lack already.
- AmICoolNow, on 03/06/2008, -0/+7Thanks.
(That nerd was me) - wontstoptalking, on 03/05/2008, -6/+13Oh, god. There are so many WoW fans on Digg, this will make the front page immediately!
- LordVance, on 03/06/2008, -0/+7Back when MMO's all had sub-1 million subscribers it could be fair to say that everyone playing them has no lives. However, now that WoW is sporting 10 million, with only an incredibly small portion of that even stepping foot into a raid - I think it is fair to say that MMO's can definitely be enjoyed casually.
- kweli, on 03/06/2008, -0/+7dugg for smell
- UnixSkunk, on 03/06/2008, -1/+7Really!?!?? You dont say! So....If I talk to these..."People"....Who do I get faction with!? What quest rewards do these..."people"...give out? Someone said you can get [Sex] and [Girls] and that they are both epic items! But in exchange you can no longer put points into [Unhealthy Palor], and [Late Nights By Yourself].
(Contrary to popular belief, just because I play WOW does not mean I have no life. I do however, hear that people who read digg, and bag on WOW players have no life. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go plan a rave....No, no...a RAVE, not a RAID!) - inactive, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6Omg, buff ret pallies.
- AmICoolNow, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6Just like the Special Olympics!
...Sorry. - wordglue, on 03/06/2008, -2/+8you are the nerd equivalent of a badass
- pak314, on 03/06/2008, -0/+6They recently made the leveling between levels 20 and 60 very easy. Many elite mobs were made regular. Exp per kill was increased and leveling exp was reduced.
- Koskun, on 03/06/2008, -1/+7Generally people that brag about having lost their virginity still have not.
- inactive, on 03/06/2008, -1/+7WoW = Biggest time sink ever
- OpaqueMurdock, on 03/06/2008, -4/+9I will NOT be sucked back in, I will NOT be sucked back in, I will NOT....
- YellowSnowDemon, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5That's what you get for making sexual advances on the Stormwind orphans.
- GreyICE, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5People who think that because they don't play WoW, women will overlook their bad hygene, unsavory apperence, and lack of social graces.
"Hey, I might be an obnoxious slob with bad breath and no table manners, but at least I don't play WoW!" - YellowSnowDemon, on 03/06/2008, -1/+6Idk. If a tree falls on a baby in the forest, and nobody is there to see it, is it still hilarious?
- TheCount, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5The internet?
- elnerdo, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5Damn Australians and their 36-hour day!
- jpbitzer, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5You missed.
- TheCount, on 03/06/2008, -1/+6Oh yeah, cause mages have it so rough in the game when it comes to doing damage already.
- mnxxx, on 03/06/2008, -1/+6Now are restraining orders a hack or a spell cuz ive been getting alot of those lately.
- LordVance, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5Neither, it's how the GM's punish you for greifing.
- VenDrake, on 03/06/2008, -0/+5>> Everyone else might as well avoid.
Who is this "Everyone Else" you speak of? - xpose, on 03/05/2008, -4/+8Yeah, that was back when kevin Rose was gay. .. Oh wait.. .
- repick3, on 03/05/2008, -10/+14Not interested. Dugg for the 10 million people that play WoW and because it shows Blizzard is still doing a bang-up job.
