With the massive amounts of revenue Blizzard is pulling in from WoW, they definitely would have the man-power to do such a thing. However, doesn't it seem like this would water down the franchises and the creative development pools?
That being said.... I would probably still buy it if they messed with the price points a bit. Would I pay $40 every year for a blizz expansion? Probably not; $25 or $30 would be a lot more likely.
