- m0zzie, on 08/21/2008, -20/+686i don't have a whole lot to contribute, but i just wanted to tell someone that i'm eating a waffle right now
- klitzbtc, on 08/21/2008, -55/+635The CGI is pretty epic, but I couldn't care less about the game.
- inactive, on 08/21/2008, -4/+451I would love to see a full length movie with these graphics.
- Tochi, on 08/21/2008, -3/+312If it's there's one thing Blizzard has always been good at it's making impressive CG movies.
I remember when first I saw Warcraft 2's intro movie and nearly shat myself it was so cool. - leonidas22, on 08/21/2008, -9/+296It really doesn't matter if you love or hate WoW. You gotta give Blizzard some props because those boys know how to make us giggle like a school girl.
- Spudster, on 08/22/2008, -5/+251Your quest is to procure maple syrup from the cabinet. Be careful not to pull agro on your mother though, as she might ask you to get a job again.
- OdinTGE, on 08/21/2008, -13/+173Dugg for saying 'couldn't' instead of the stupid mistake of saying 'could' that most people make when using that phrase.

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/38881.html - m0zzie, on 08/22/2008, -6/+138i have a job my friend, i'm a software engineer. it's 10.30am here in Australia, and i just had a waffle with my coffee this morning.
your jealousy is blindingly obvious. what did you have for breakfast? it was probably something *****, so i dugg you to make you feel better :] - MadOgre, on 08/22/2008, -5/+109My God, they need to do a feature length movie and blow Disney/Pixar out of the water.
- Mejari, on 08/21/2008, -1/+88I leveled up just watching that.
- da_bradler, on 08/21/2008, -1/+86This video proves exactly why the World of Warcraft movie shouldn't be live action. Like how could live action compete with animation like this.
- Synova, on 08/22/2008, -0/+76http://www.incompetech.com/Images/caring.png
- Platanoranger, on 08/21/2008, -11/+73I need to level up!
- unorginalityftw, on 08/21/2008, -4/+66It's beautiful... but I refuse to go back to WoW damnit...
- Devrdander, on 08/22/2008, -2/+57you didn't mention that the drop rate on the maple syrup is horrible, Its better in the Log Cabins off the Aunt Jemima's Witnesses...
- Soriven, on 08/21/2008, -3/+57Umm... that's the opening cinematic for Warhammer: Mark of Chaos.
This is the new Warhammer Online trailer: http://mythicmktg.fileburst.com/war/us/home/flash/ ... - Br3ach, on 08/21/2008, -2/+55*hopes and prays for a Starcraft movie someday*
Blizzard has always taken their cinematic to the next level, I am not sure if this is a good comparison, but they could give Pixar a run for their money. - mike42979, on 08/22/2008, -0/+44***** the studios, Blizzard needs to fund and develop an entire movie themselves.
- jkroge, on 08/22/2008, -3/+45Trailer directly from Blizzard's website: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/intro.xml (high quality and no ads)
- bagboyrebel, on 08/21/2008, -13/+53As awesome as the video was, it still isn't enough to make me like WoW.
- SkinnyPuppy, on 08/22/2008, -8/+47I could care less = I care a little now, but with some motivation I could care even less.
I couldn't care less = I don't care at all. - Needles13, on 08/21/2008, -9/+47If the game was anything like this I would not have quit.
Darkfall is coming :O - mdaize, on 08/22/2008, -2/+40If only the game was as intriguing as the videos they make and leave you shocked beyond all regard...
- FasmTrout, on 08/22/2008, -0/+36Great, now I'm hungry.
- mpdid, on 08/22/2008, -2/+33The travel time to get there may make you think it's not worth it but those mobs have a .02% chance of dropping the epic doorag helmet.
- trudatt, on 08/21/2008, -14/+44Seeing cinematics like this makes me wonder why Blizzard chose to do a live-action movie...
- Mossman85, on 08/22/2008, -1/+27If there's one thing Blizzard has been GREAT at, it's making impressive GAMES
- xevidentx, on 08/22/2008, -1/+26a 2 hr cgi movie from blizzard would be epic!
- GregFD3S, on 08/21/2008, -0/+24Science dammit!
This is just what I need, to get hooked on WoW again. - dweeb79, on 08/22/2008, -2/+23I wish Blizzard would make a film.
- Bic823, on 08/22/2008, -0/+21I can't think of any Blizzard cinematic that ISN'T amazing.
- OnlyGirlOnDigg, on 08/21/2008, -5/+26level 41 is not enough....
- CynicalTyler, on 08/22/2008, -2/+22Which is what disappoints me so much: there's so much possibility here but the very nature of MMORPGs is that you're just there to grind for experience points and loot. For as long as I played WoW, I never sensed that I was in any way a part of some overarching storyline. The fact that everyone gets a crack at killing the ultimate bad guy and that even if you do you haven't really changed the game in any way really ruins the experience for me.
I guess I'm just not the kind of player that Blizzard is shooting for with WoW. - inactive, on 08/22/2008, -0/+20We need more off-the-wall comments like this.
- dafragsta, on 08/21/2008, -7/+26I thought that was gonna be for Diablo III dammit. I wasn't expecting it to be laced with warcrack. Now I kinda wanna go reopen my account, but I just find that game so boring after the first couple of nights playing it. The only thing that ever changes is the color of the titles on the equipment mouseovers.
- ligyron, on 08/22/2008, -0/+19@ sylv3r
What hole have YOU been living in? That movie will be live-action, not CGI - lardoandkeg, on 08/21/2008, -0/+19The cinematic should be titled "A Father's Love Is Not Enough"
- inactive, on 08/22/2008, -10/+29dugg for getting the phrase right
- Tryptomine, on 08/22/2008, -1/+20Sacrilicious.
- Strikersgun, on 08/22/2008, -6/+24advent children is ***** compared to these graphics
- tapo, on 08/21/2008, -0/+17The Warcraft film by Blizzard/Legendary Pictures will be live action, not CGI. It's a shame really, Blizzard's CGI work is incredible.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/search/article ... - Shuk, on 08/22/2008, -0/+17For those of you who may truly not get it: this trailer is unbelievably epic because of the narration.
*Warcraft 3 spoilers*
It is King Terenas talking to his son when he was young and "good" at the start of Warcraft 3. In WC3 and the expansion, you see Arthas turn from a righteous hero to the most epic villain. To see him juxtaposed with those words gave me shivers! So well directed! - codyjohnle, on 08/22/2008, -0/+17the helm drops only if you have the quest. the drop rate you got off of wowhead is for all kills of the aunt jemimas witnesses which is why it is so low. if you have the quest it's more around 33%.
edit: i just solo'd eall the witnesses on my moderately geared full frost 70 mage. use the maple tree to los pull all the witnesses then just aoe them down. i also got the aunt jemima do-rag. they give a +25 to cooking skill - punchinelli, on 08/21/2008, -3/+18This is awesome, but nothing beats the original World of Warcraft cinematic trailer/intro. I must have watched that thing 20 times in a row.
- 1ncu3us, on 08/22/2008, -2/+17The Blizzard cinematic team really needs to make a 90 minute film and show the rest of these studios how it's done!
- MonumentMan, on 08/21/2008, -7/+22dug down for no gnomes!
- imtheone989, on 08/21/2008, -5/+19Its Legendary
- Daedalus81, on 08/22/2008, -1/+15So you're going to stop playing basically 95% of all games out there, right?
- Jeremyz0r, on 08/22/2008, -1/+15You should see the HD version.
