Also on the sixth page there is a link to a "fixed" version with a mod on there that makes the game better somehow. I downloaded that and everything woks great. If that doesn't work there are other "fixed" versions in that thread.

  • CCmachined, on 01/13/2008, -0/+8everyone wanting a kickass FPS, try out Sauerbraten! it has great gfx, SP and multiplayer, and new features every few months. And before anyone asks, it is free as in beer and as in freedom - runs under Linux, Windows, Mac and is open source. Gameplay is quite similiar to the original DooM and Quake games (shoot anything that moves, trigger doors and etc, move as fast as possible to avoid hits).

    • Gogogo111, on 01/13/2008, -0/+1I'll second this. Sauer is awesome. Campaign, deathmatch/TDM, Capture the flag. Thats just the normal modes. Invasion/survival mode where enemies spawn and you have to kill them all. And the build mode....wow. Easily over 100 hours there.
