- Hakonan, on 10/02/2008, -24/+265My favorite part was when they biked down the mountain.
- gaoshan, on 10/02/2008, -3/+147I did some awesome sleeping yesterday. I managed to pull a sleep in and made it until noon. Heard two phone calls that I let the answering machine get, ignored one knock at the door and then managed to spend 4 hours in my pajamas surfing the web and munching on 2 day old cold pizza. ***** awesome day!
- goteki45, on 10/02/2008, -6/+143I shat myself when his camera hit a branch about halfway in
- P1um, on 10/02/2008, -23/+136I would do it in a go-cart.
*whistle* = I'm passing you ***** - danskal, on 10/02/2008, -4/+95He doesn't say "enough" ("assez") at all, he says "Thankyou" - "Merci" to the people who are allowing them to pass.
- Pneub, on 10/02/2008, -2/+84What a sick trail. Luckily I'm not afraid of death, but sadly I'm very afraid of being paralyzed and dismembered. Still might be worth it.
- yillip, on 10/02/2008, -1/+64That was like a James Bond chase scene on mountain bikes.
- Kumaku, on 10/02/2008, -2/+63DAMN! You definitely don't want to do that on a Wal-Mart bike.
- inkswamp, on 10/02/2008, -0/+59Dude, you are living on the *****' edge!
- aussieNickuss, on 10/02/2008, -1/+59I would, but not so freakin fast. If I picked up the speed they were doing, I'd stack it on the first corner and end up at the bottom of the mountain all pummelled and tenderised in no time.
- Digital.Totem, on 10/01/2008, -44/+95Yeah sure would, any thing that incredible is worth risking death for. That's the whole purpose of life if you aren't on adventure your not really living.
- GregFD3S, on 10/02/2008, -1/+42Seems like a pretty cool way to make it down a mountain...
- j0etb, on 10/02/2008, -8/+46I watched the whole thing and it's made me late for work.
- erikerikerik, on 10/02/2008, -11/+47pIsh, in my day we did that going up the mountain...in the snow!
*after thought edit*
This video could easily pass for the US economy...if it was a video. - Genecalypse, on 10/02/2008, -2/+37wow did anyone ***** brix when he hit that tree branch?
- inactive, on 10/02/2008, -3/+37By the way, the guy doesn't say enough, he says "merci" (thank you).
- 3tents, on 10/02/2008, -1/+33"...Now, please take your rental bike back up to receive your deposit...Thank you for your business"
- Voide, on 10/02/2008, -0/+32And commenting made you even later.
- DarkTrancer, on 10/02/2008, -0/+23Rock oN Dude!
- Ch3n3yTh3D1ck, on 10/02/2008, -4/+26I use my turn to call you a fag
- GMofOLC, on 10/02/2008, -0/+22But at least you'd beat them to the bottom.
- JRW5061, on 10/02/2008, -3/+23Would it have flames?

- ryanhayn, on 10/02/2008, -0/+19really? you should get your anus checked.
- Brallit, on 10/02/2008, -0/+17goteki45 apparently did...
14 minutes ago:
"I shat myself when his camera hit a branch about halfway in" - wireframework, on 10/02/2008, -1/+18I would absolutely try this.
Then I would fall off the mountain and die.
And then become some part of the trail for someone else to ride over.
Sure, why not? - Djinn777, on 10/02/2008, -1/+18whoa for a second I expected a Imperial speeder to hit a tree.
- sirbeta, on 10/02/2008, -1/+17I'd sure as hell like to do try that, but I wouldn't be nearly as ballsy on the speed though.
- bizkit00, on 10/02/2008, -2/+18yea dude, it found an awesome video in 30 diggs. other algorithms would have waited until it was old.
- davidrools, on 10/02/2008, -0/+15are there no mountain bikers on digg?? that's more or less everyday trail riding. And what's with the hanging foot on the turns? I say the pussy needs to get himself some toe clips!
Wait really before you digg me down, are you one of those snowboarders who zooms by everyone else on the slopes? or a sports car driver who can safely but quickly maneuver through slower traffic? Ok, if not, digg me down, but then go out and live a little, please. - Overcyn, on 10/02/2008, -3/+18some people find enjoyment in different things then others. even if i knew how to mountain bike i would be scared ***** all the way down.
- jc265, on 10/02/2008, -0/+15Are you trying to find your real father?
- DaviDTC, on 10/02/2008, -6/+20no ***** way.
- krazikamikaze, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14It reminded me of the Mt Chiliad bike races in GTA:SA.
- oneredeye, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14Where the ***** did you come from?!
- HarrisonBn, on 10/02/2008, -2/+16haha yeah that trail is not that bad... just going down, nothing that technical except maybe the switchbacks, which are not that hard.

Best FR trail ever... too bad they tore it down. I'll never be good enough to ride it anyways XD
P.S. Colorado rules. - Zera, on 10/02/2008, -5/+19Honestly this wasn't that dangerous. Granted, most of you probably haven't seen much mountain bike helmet cam footage, but there is far better stuff out there.
For example:
http://www.pinkbike.com/video/list/?category=12&da ...
http://www.petefagerlin.com/video_gallery.htm
This video was made slightly dangerous with the front rider using his rear break to slide around corners. Terrible technique, its morons like that who create 90% of trail wear and erosion. When breaking on loose soil, especially going downhill your rear brake cannot do anything because your center of mass is so far forward. Braking like the front rider was just sends the tire into a slide, which doesn't slow you down, throws you off your line, and you are far more likely to lose control. - JeffD, on 10/02/2008, -0/+14Nah, a sound track would have ruined it. I like hearing the real world sounds for things like this. It makes it feel more immersive.
- yeah329, on 10/02/2008, -0/+13wow I didn't know there were 8 minute videos that are worth watching all the way through
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -0/+12that's why you're on digg
- Regulator980, on 10/02/2008, -0/+12No, that's exactly what's wrong with most videos on the net. People always feel the need to overlay their videos with crappy overplayed music. I prefer my videos to be without any music.
http://digg.com/extreme_sports/INSANE_Downhill_Ska ... - desertDenizen, on 10/02/2008, -0/+12I kept wishing they would go fast.
- mrbungleface, on 10/02/2008, -0/+12I'd be like
FFFFFUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHCCCCCKKKKK THHIIIIIIISSSSSSSS!!
all the way down - emptyo, on 10/02/2008, -4/+15Uhhhh....yes. Absolutely. That looks like a regular saturday here in Colorado. :)
- darookee, on 10/02/2008, -4/+14French people are _allways_ speaking french to everybody, because they don't like other languages, so thats not a good point...
- russ3, on 10/02/2008, -0/+10the next article down
- AbYsMaLWaRT, on 10/02/2008, -8/+18that's why the invented video games
- kolyana, on 10/02/2008, -2/+11Wow - that was pretty insane; I couldn't believe they made that run with others on the course at the same time - some of those passes were too close to call!
