- agentsrecord, on 04/04/2009, -0/+23"Today, Paul Bearer is the managing funeral director at his own funeral home in Mobile Alabama. There, he oversees all the operations within the crematory, cemetery and mausoleum."
Wow, talk about life imitating art. - inactive, on 04/04/2009, -0/+11OK here's an update on those guys:
Rock: In movies.
Stone Cold: In crappy movies - jarjarwang, on 04/04/2009, -0/+11"femail"?
- Jhiaxuz, on 04/04/2009, -0/+10Paul Bearer owning a Funeral Home is just so awesome. Do you think he carries around an Urn as he works?
- CB810, on 04/03/2009, -1/+8I remember watching Jerry Lawler (when he was young) , Tommy "Wildfire" Rich, Coco Ware, "Superstar" Bill Dundee, "Dirty" Dutch Mantell... Just normal looking guys who could talk well. Ah.. the good ole days.
- Coffeedemon, on 04/04/2009, -0/+6Yeah, I wonder if you have an option to get some dry ice for a smoke effect during the lowering of the casket.
- smrekar, on 04/03/2009, -1/+7Great read. I sent it to old child-hood friends.
I'd like to know where some of the other popular wrestlers went. Like Junk Yard Dog, Koko B. Ware, HillBilly Jim, SuperFly Jimmy Snuka & Tatanka. - webkami, on 04/04/2009, -1/+7I remember we used to have long long debates who would win from Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior...
... I also remember then playing as one of them in WWF game.... - Shogi, on 04/04/2009, -1/+7Dugg for Ultimate Warrior. Guy was mental.
Woulda liked to see a mention for Stone Cold Steve Austin, Goldberg, or Ricky "The Steamboat" Dragon though. Most of the wrestlers have fairly up to date wikipedia pages.
Lotsa memories there. - treefyre, on 04/04/2009, -0/+6 Natalie Neidhart has been wrestling as Natalya for a while now and has been on TV for a while as well.
Stone Cold is being inducted into the Hall of Fame tonight. and Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat has a match at Mania tomorrow with Flair, Superfly Snuka and Jericho - HonkingAntelope, on 04/04/2009, -0/+6Dugg for the Excellence of Execution.
- lexluthor5, on 04/04/2009, -0/+6No George "The Animal" Steele?
- scarlettletter, on 04/03/2009, -1/+6Way cooler names back in the days.... Jake "the snake" Roberts! says it all!
- durnit, on 04/04/2009, -1/+6Imagine you're having funeral services for a dead relative and The Undertaker's manager is the funeral director. Kinda ruins the somber mood.
- KhurramA, on 04/04/2009, -0/+5What about "Brother Love"? ...."I looooooooooovveeee youuuuuuuuu"- classic
- apostledeets, on 04/04/2009, -0/+5Junk Yard Dog died. Superfly Snuka and Ricky the Dragon are working for WWE as agents. Tatanka got released from WWE about two years ago. Not sure about HillBilly Jim, but I think he still partners with WWE for autograph signings. No idea about Koko or the Killer Bees. Sting is the current TNA world champion.
- IHATEHIM, on 04/04/2009, -0/+5i still have a magazine ddp signed when he was the champ in wcw
- toastbot, on 04/04/2009, -0/+5Was hoping they'd have more then/now pictures.
- bubbameister33, on 04/04/2009, -0/+5What no Brooklyn Brawler?
- crashingechelon, on 04/04/2009, -2/+6FTA "Currently Neidhart is supporting his daughter to follow in his footsteps; Natalie Neidhart has signed a development contract with the WWE and is currently training to become a femail professional wrestler"
Femail...I'm not a master speller myself here, but you'd think they can get something as simple as that correct - IHOLDMYPOOPIN, on 04/04/2009, -0/+4In the late 80's my brother and I were both really into wrestling. There was a period of time when Hulk Hogan was "injured" in a wrestling match. My brother and I both sent him get well letters. A couple weeks later we both received the exact same post card from The Hulk. At the time we were both very excited to hear from him and to know that we as "little hulksters" were aiding in his recovery process.
Looking back now, it is pretty funny that we thought it was such a personal gesture on his part to "write" US back. This type of entertainment is tough to come by these days. I watch a WWE the other day and it seemed nothing like it use to be. - durnit, on 04/04/2009, -0/+4I assumed a lot more of them were dead
- PuddMaster, on 04/04/2009, -0/+4No love for the Nature Boy Ric Flaire!? WHOOOOO!...and did i read that little tidbit of info about Hulk Hogan? how crazy is it that Hulkster's ex-wife is nailing their son's friend? LMAO!
- directandy, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3Most of this information is inaccurate. Niedharts daughter already wrestles in WWE and has for some time. Beefcake left WWE right After Wrestlemania IX and went with Hulk to WCW to then have a crappy career with more character names then any other wrestler out there. Jake Roberts did not leave wrestling in 92. He went to WCW and got lost in the Hulk Hogan arrival. It is spelled "Bret" not Brett. Jim DuGGgan never left wrestling in the mid 90's. He took a small break in the late 90's for treatment but was still under contract. And he is only 55. Hardly late 50's.

Self high five! - KhurramA, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3Do you remember the Hitman vs. Mr. Perfect match from SummerSlam? Can't remember which year that was but it was one of the best matches ever.
- LucasKane, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3Remember them as they were, good sir
- inactive, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3They left out the most hilarious one of all: The Iron Sheik and his appearances on Howard Stern.
Dude goes *****. I thought it was fake at first, but nope, it's the real deal.

"Hulk Hogan YOU SON OF A BITCH"
"I PUT MY 10 INCH ***** IN YOUR ***** ASS" - scurvydog00, on 04/04/2009, -0/+3Would be nice, but not gonna happen. His knees are shot for life.
- Skurt, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Pfffft... What about Andre the Giant? or Haystack Calhoun or The Great Mephisto?
My brother and I used to laugh at the 'wrestling' of My Youth.
Your youth is not my youth...

http://www.andrethegiant.com/ - treefyre, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Mick Foley is over on TNA. Undertaker is still wrestling, just not as much as he used to.
- wassamatta, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2still alive
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=6979914 - essjay, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2If he was carrying an urn I think I'd keep waiting for a giant light to come out of it a la The Undertaker's triumphant return (first return anyway).
- Gosunkugi, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Not to mention the fact that Natalie Neidhart has been a women's wrestler for the past half-decade and has been on the active WWE roster for the past year or two. It's sad when an article doesn't even live up to Wikipedia levels of research.
- inactive, on 04/04/2009, -1/+3"After retiring in 1999, Warrior became a conservative radio commentator and itinerate speaker."
So Ultimate Warrior is... Glenn Beck?! - scurvydog00, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Yeah even if they couldn't spell his name right.
- KhurramA, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2I remember the Brother Love show episode where Earthquake attacked Hogan. Put him in the "hopstial" for a couple months.
- darthsabbath, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2If I could have 1 tape of wrestling matches to watch for the rest of my life, Hitman vs. Perfect from SS91 would be very close to the top of my list. That match was damn near.... perfect?
- raydeen, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2I still have my Rowdy Roddy action figure. :) Hot Rod FTW!!
- BetaUser, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Oops, meant to say the Google! You sir, are a winner!
- tom957, on 04/04/2009, -1/+3Demolition was so awesome.
- netant, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Senile too. How can you remember Haystack Calhoun, and not bring up Bruno Sammartino, or Bob Backlund? Maybe you'll remember this one... Mil Mascaras! Speaking of old, there was also Stan "The Man" Staziak, with the "Cardiac punch"!
- bunk3rk1ng, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2I think the Undertaker still wrestles. Mankind is semi retired. Those two are beasts.
- netant, on 04/04/2009, -2/+4Don't you feel retarded now about those long, long debates?
- darthsabbath, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2I still consider myself a wrestling fan, but the product nowadays is so watered down. You've got just a handful of guys that can tell a good story, and they're the same faces we've seen for years... Shawn Michaels, HHH, 'taker, Edge etc. John Cena is boring, and it seems like they won't pull the trigger on any of the up and coming young talent like CM Punk. Although this last year has been better than most lately. Still, the 80s and the 90s will always be the golden eras for me.
- LucasKane, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Zee Goggles do nothing
- ImOnYourTeam, on 04/04/2009, -1/+3Yoga and helping terminal ill kids? All the best bad guys went soft.
- jcroweall7, on 04/04/2009, -0/+2Koko is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame tonight.
- Ratteler, on 04/04/2009, -1/+3Ok!!! This article is TOTALLY BURIED!!!! (Not really.)
No Hot Rod?!?!?!? No Rowdy Roddy Piper!!!!!
