- tienm23, on 01/06/2009, -0/+19Digging just cause I love to see mma new on digg.
- sourwood, on 01/06/2009, -2/+15@alanr19,factsahoy - We have been over this time and time again. The users post what they want to share on Digg so obviously some people are interested. You guys are the ones stupid enough to waste your time posting on a topic you are not even interested in.
- Zlorp, on 01/06/2009, -1/+12I think wandy is past his prime. he could probably still beat most lhw's out there, but some of the better ones are just too much for him now. He honestly hasnt been the same since CroCop ko'd him. sure, he beat Jardine senseless in a matter of seconds, but so did Houston Alexander.
Also, where are the knees? He was known for brutal knees in Pride, havent seen him use any since he came to the UFC
anyway, i just want to see Machida get a title shot. - randman89, on 01/06/2009, -1/+11Even after Rampage knocked him the f@%$ out cold? No way man...
- tamaker, on 01/06/2009, -1/+10R.I.P. bro... seriously.
- Zlorp, on 01/06/2009, -1/+9i feel sorry for you guys who cant appreciate machida. hes actually one of the most entertaining fighters to watch.
- frequentFlyer, on 01/06/2009, -1/+9you give a *****, because you replied.
- nickceleb, on 01/06/2009, -6/+14At this point I think I would fight Liddell.
- anderzole, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7I'd give the nod to silva in a rematch with Liddell. Rampage is a beast!
- visceroth, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8lol I'd pay to watch him knock you the ***** out.
- VeryBoredNow, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7Rampage vs Evans is the fight everyone wants to see now.
Oh yea, Silva should chalange Liddel to a 'snorkel' match if he wants to win. MMA fans will know what I am talking about - leftfield, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8You sound like someone who got their ass beat by a mma fighter. Did your girlfriend leave with him too?
- Zlorp, on 01/06/2009, -3/+10@ alanr19
let me guess, you're one of those closet homosexuals who calls MMA "gay" because "it looks like 2 men humping." while forgetting that only a homosexual would make that observation. amirite? - yesplease151, on 01/06/2009, -1/+6I'd much rather watch Gina fight

http://ginacarano.proelite.com/stuff/image/82214/G ... - logic11, on 01/06/2009, -1/+6I'm well over 25, not even close to overweight, and have a fair bit of martial arts experience. I watch it, including the reality show. As I said above, I watch for the technical martial arts not the bludgeoning. There is still enough actual martial arts to make it interesting, and sometimes I even see something that I hadn't considered and add it to my own training regimen.
- tehShane, on 01/06/2009, -0/+5They're both passed their prime, but Liddell more so if you ask me.
I'd put my money on Wanderlei if the fight actually goes ahead. - doubl3d, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Go to Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings and they are free.
- Boing, on 01/06/2009, -1/+5I wouldn't mind seeing this fight... but I wouldn't want it as the main card for a PPV event. Undercard or a free event on Spike.
- cdaitch, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4I hated watching Wand get KTFO'd again. The CroCop KO and the Henderson KO were just as brutal. He's becoming the Brazilian Sakuraba - a guy who takes insane punishment yet doesn't stop coming back. I'm a massive Wand fan and I think the Chuck fight would be a good one for him since both guys are coming off KO losses and need the fight to stay not only in title contention but at least in Silva's case, possibly employed. :-(
- TrevorBelmont, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Every time there's an MMA story on Digg. Every time. Someones got to come in here and tell us that despite the hundreds of diggs a story already has that "no one cares" and then talk about how it's not a sport and "cockfighting blah blah blah...".
- jeffwas, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4I'd much rather watch Gina do anything. ;]
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4That wouldn't happen, these fighters make UFC too much money to put it on for free.
- yohnstoppable, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Although I still don't find him exciting, it's always interesting to watch someone who is that good. It's been just a matter of time now for a while until he gets the lhw belt.
- logic11, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4Machida is incredibly technically strong. As someone with many years in martial arts, I would rather see a good technician than a bloodbath any day. In fact, I hate fighters like Liddell who just punch a lot, bores me to tears. A good technical fight is why I even watch UFC. Also, Machida hasn't really even come close to losing yet, so I guess his strategy is working well.
- sub67, on 01/06/2009, -0/+4It was a decent fight, but I also would have preferred that Griffin win. He's cool. What I think was best though was the Mir fight. I've always liked Frank Mir and he looked extremely good. I know this is all off-topic, but I hope for Mir to take out Lesnar again.
- Gooba, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Rampage knocked them both the ***** out. He is a beast.
- alexforcefive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3You don't think it was a totally sweet fight? I thought it was one of the better fights this year
- alexforcefive, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4I like griffin but I also like evans! He's also a great fighter and also funny as hell. How can you not like a man who does this in the middle of a fight? http://www.fightlinker.com/pics/rashadcocky.gif
- silver26, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4I'm pretty sure A LOT of people care to see it. They are definitely past their primes, but it would be a headlining fight.
- abusive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I'd pay to see that. :)
- entropy71, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4I could appreciate him more if he tried to actually finish fights. Fights going to decision are not fun -- they are boring. If he used his skill to open his opponent to a KO or submission then I could agree with you, but he doesn't. With that said, he does get the win so more power to him -- someone just needs to figure out a way to knock him out and his career will be over as Dana looks for any reason to throw boring fighters out of the UFC (remember Tim Sylvia?).
- greatfloat, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4What's the point? I think both of them are past the point of contention. If anything this would be a fight only for the money, but I don't think anyone really cares to see it.
- SuperVepr308, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I agree with sub. The fight didn't suck, just the fact that Griffin lost. Who can't like Griffin? He is a great fighter and funny as hell.
- Zlorp, on 01/07/2009, -0/+3what you think is boring is what makes mma something more than a couple of people in a fight.
hes also the only person besides AS that has ko'd rich franklin. The more aggressive his opponent, the more aggressive he usually is. Also, watch him v Tito, he didnt finish the fight but he did a lot of awesome things in it, and he definitely tried to finish when he had the opportunity, i think he might not have the strength some of these other guys have. - JigoroKano, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4He beat Shogun, the #1 ranked 205lber. Shogun was supposed to beat Forrest and get a rematch/title shot against Rampage, who he had already defeated.
Upsetting Shogun and then upsetting Rampage pretty much proves that Forrest deserved to be there. - Akaziel, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I'm still waiting for Chuck Liddell's rematch with Johnny Drama.
- CedEx, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3I want to see Lesnar win, only because he's a freak of nature, and that people underestimate the athletic talent he possesses.
- gamben0, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3... or anyone that looked at the stories related by keyword at the top.. 'MMA fighter Wanderlei Silva trains for fight with a snorkel '
- yohnstoppable, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3Sylvia asked to be released from his contract, and the ufc agreed. A better example of what you're saying is the release of Lindland a while back. He was released on a technicality after wearing the shirt of an unauthorized sponsor
- Vandango, on 01/06/2009, -0/+3It's a shame, he used to come out like a Tasmanian devil. No more roid's has taken that rage away from Wandy.
- logic11, on 01/06/2009, -1/+4I wish I could digg you up more than once...
People who don't like Machida just like blood sports, they have no appreciation for technical skill and precision. - rsbryswrrl, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Yay for chick MMA fighters - except Cyborg, she scares me
- tienm23, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Any man who has wins over BJ Penn, Rich Franklin, Tito Ortiz, Bonner and many more gets props in my book.
- TrevorBelmont, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Piss off.
- k3nnyd, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2I paid $3 and watched the last UFC at home streaming over the net. Sure it's not legal but it also wasn't very high quality. Either way it's better than forking over $60 or sitting in a sports bar where I either can't hear the TV or they just mute it. Oh and the next day I downloaded the HDTV rip of the event. Yay for the Internets!
- SuperVepr308, on 01/06/2009, -5/+7I am still sad that Griffin lost the belt. Damn that sucked.
- phavn, on 01/06/2009, -1/+3JigoroKano:
If you follow MMA closely you should know there's been a controversy surrounding Rampage vs Griffin fight. Rampage scored more strikes than Griffin in the fight but decision somehow went to Griffin. - Kvasaari, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2I would like to see the other Silva fight Liddell.
- benhollister, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Is Liddell even still alive after that Evans fight?
- likwidfuzion, on 01/06/2009, -0/+2Bandwagon much?
