- mreade, on 01/10/2009, -3/+12Good luck to him, I hope he goes well.

- inactive, on 01/11/2009, -0/+8Protect Lance Armstrong from what?
- gala7516, on 01/11/2009, -3/+10your retarded
- inactive, on 01/11/2009, -0/+7Front page with six comments? Must've been expensive.
- partrow, on 01/11/2009, -0/+6Buried for lousy title and the Armstrong subject.
He is always on tour for self-promotion and publicity. - clintmaher, on 04/21/2009, -2/+8I'll be seeing the man live in France! Here comes #8
- Kugelblitze, on 01/11/2009, -4/+10Really? It's my retarded? I never had a retarded before! Oh, you mean you're retarded, as in you are retarded for posting a possessive instead of a contraction in your critique of the title.
- HenvY, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5testicular cancer?
- MikeyMoose, on 01/30/2009, -1/+6<whoosh> You don't get it... gala7516 does, but you don't. </whoosh>
- redlantern64, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6Off the top of my head, cycling is the only sport where the spectators can literally touch participants as they compete. All anyone needs to do is watch footage of the 2004 Alpe d'Huez Time Trial stage of the Tour de France to know what a huge security risk that can be. It's a huge security risk not just for Lance, but for ANY overzealous fan who decides he doesn't take a liking to a particular cyclist, his team, or his nationality.
- ridd1e, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6I’d like to begin by saying “***** Lance Armstrong”. ***** him and his balls and his bicycles and his steroids and his yellow shirts and the dumb, empty expression on his face. I'm tired of that *****.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vd9UiAY1060 - gala7516, on 01/11/2009, -0/+5Sorry, thought the irony would be funny.
- phreak79, on 01/11/2009, -1/+6Why is this happening? I know the French aren't too keen on the guy but I don't suppose Australians have any animosity towards him.
- mrfanboy, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4Koala Bears, a cyclist's worst nightmare.
- CM23099, on 01/11/2009, -0/+4We have a Tour?
- shaka999, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3Don't expect too much In Australia from Lance. This is a training ride for him and his fitness won't peak for months yet.
- tobtoh, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3Drop Bears - they are a real danger to everyone Down Under.
- dafragsta, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3Aaah, but what happens when the French find out that they can buy plane tickets too and leave the same way the tourists do.
- DephexTwin, on 01/11/2009, -0/+3Who is this Tighten, and why is it that, under his security, the tour is down due to Lance Armstrong?
- DaDrake, on 01/11/2009, -1/+4Why would it happened? Because there is always some drunk idiot who thinks it would be "really funny" to interrupt a sporting event.... preferably naked with something hilarious written on his back.
- davideparker, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2Apostrophe's and they're use's.
- phreak79, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2Long way to go just to have a pop at someone.
- Remelox, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2Tour of Missouri became one of the few 2.Hors Category races outside of Europe so we are hoping (no doubt futilely) that Armstrong comes to back up one of his riders from the Tour. I envy you and your parking problems.
- cwilson, on 01/11/2009, -1/+3Lance Armstrong posts constantly on Twitter, for anyone interested in following his return: http://twitter.com/lancearmstrong
- Remelox, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2A punch to the kidney (see Eddie Merkx, 1975 tour).
- jjesusfreak01, on 01/11/2009, -2/+4Hmm, the FRENCH...
I can think of no group of people that more despises a cancer survivor for his athleticism and perseverance. They did their best to frame him, so he is releasing his own test results all year to thwart their crooked labs. - a2z22a, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2Who will let me hitch hike to France from the UK for the tour? Anybody?
- Remelox, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2Hey, I'm in Missouri and we have a tour. One of the two biggest in America this year. We had a politician try to stop it during the elections because our tourism bureau spent 1.7 million dollars on it (they ambiguously said millions for a little bike race). It brought in 30 million in out of state dollars. Sorry, I hate stupid politics getting in the way of good biking.
- pandikukka, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2tightens security due to lance armstrong. he he hehe
- eclipse492, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2I live in adelaide, the capital city of south australia (where the tour down under is). The hype is absolutely massive for lance armstrong coming. That and the fact that its now the only UCI pro event outside of europe means one thing. I have more damn traffic on my way to work and more people going to watch the thing stealing my car parks!
- Kugelblitze, on 01/12/2009, -0/+2Wow, there's really no tag to fit what you did there.
- TBagwell, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2back to basics
- iBlinkalot, on 01/11/2009, -2/+4Can't wait for July...
- Trollbane, on 01/11/2009, -3/+4They'll be carrying an extra big knife.
- bobdavis77, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1Eddy Merckx (who totally owns Armstrong) lost the Tour one year when a spectator punched him in the stomach causing him to crash and sustain a fracture. I think this might be the sort of thing they are worried about.
