- Duggan360, on 05/15/2008, -3/+15Futbol? English people!
- unicronband, on 05/15/2008, -1/+9LOL @ "how about 2 balls between the legs?"
- patriotsfan82, on 05/15/2008, -1/+11The unfortunate thing about basketball is, if that 11 year old kid happens to stop growing around 5 foot 4, hes ******.
- Calcheesmo, on 05/15/2008, -1/+10I had to stop watching it after the tennis video. The tennis kid was not impressive at all. If you watch it, they hit the ball right to him or near him every time. He's a little kid, he could never run down a ball on the other side of the court, or hit a shot above his reach. They taught him like the same shot that he does everytime...if he was a tennis pro he'd at least have a backhand, christ, the kid can barely hold the racket. He doesn't play the net like a 6 footer, that would mean he'd have the ability to reach like 12 feet in the air with his racket...buried for crap. The bball kid was sweet though. He couldn't compete with an adult if the adult had any tennis skills.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -2/+8Holy *****, a kid can kick a ball into a giant net!!!!!!
- masfenix, on 05/15/2008, -0/+6Seriously, futbol? .. No i mean really, futbol?
- PhQnix, on 05/15/2008, -0/+5The football story isn't particularly odd, Manchester United will probably have upwards of around 100 kids on their books as will most top flight teams in England, Spain and Italy. This story came to public attention because of the distance the kid moved in order to play but this is not uncommon either. Messi moved from Argentina to Spain to play for Barcelona at a young age, Giovanni Dos Santos' family uprooted themselves from Mexico as did Carlos Vela's. However there are probably many kids in similar situations that will never reach the heights of Lionel Messi.
- trghpy, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4With a sub 4.50 mile... The kid can do more than basket ball.
- deviouskoopa, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4two words.... Space Jam

- ienjoythebeach, on 05/15/2008, -0/+4androids.
- Calcheesmo, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3Exactly..he's 5...he's not that good. He's no prodigy. He's a little boy that can return shots hit right at him...oooh watch out federer.
- Calcheesmo, on 05/15/2008, -0/+3two words....Muggsy Bogues
- Hetman, on 05/15/2008, -4/+6Wrong title. It should be called. Kids with the most asanine over bearing horrible parents. But hey to each his own. You could help your kids become intellegent, and understanding adult. Or you could push is little body to such a physical extreme that by time he is thirty he has had multiple torn legiments and muscles, and severe case of arthritis. In hopes that one day out of the million of millions of people he makes you rich by playing some sports. To each his own I guess.
- GUTTS, on 05/16/2008, -0/+2Let me know when he can kill of 30 pack of budweiser....
- merdiesel, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2That kid Jashaun Agosto is going to have ridiculous handles come a few years from now.
- DOUBLEZER00, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2There's a lot of jealous people in this thread. Give the kids props, you couldn't do half of what they are doing.
- R75700, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2Don't forget about Hockey and this 9 year old kid.
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=Afv8tzB5shQ&feature= ... - whitecracker, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2Screw these goddamn kids, I hate em all.
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2how many knee surgeries will the kid have before he is 18 ? hahah...........
- zorlok, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2No he's not. Exercise doesn't STUNT growth. Everyone likes to say that because of 'Little Hurcules' Richard Sandrak. It wasn't the exercise that stunted him, it was the massive amounts of steroids his father made him take. Improper weight training will ruin some joints, but a 6 footer won't end up a 5 footer. He'll just have bad shoulders.
- TinternAbbot, on 05/15/2008, -0/+2Many 5 year olds can return balls like that. All they need is coaching. The other videos at least showed people who weren't just very good for their age, but very good for any age.
- solarweasel, on 05/15/2008, -1/+4i was very moved by the little boy who, after surviving a very scary bout with eye cancer, became a child golf prodigy.
by far the best of the list there. - blackgt93, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1The golf kid, Kyle Lograsso, is the only one I really believe in. Doesn't look like his parents pushed him at all. The B-Ball kid is pretty amazing, but yeah, golf kid wins.
- drlha, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Unless you're not speaking English - it's Football or Soccer. "Futbol" is not English, and not an acceptable way to differentiate Association Football from American Football.
- ncredblstrength, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Who is the next Kobayashi or Joey Chestnut? That would be an interesting article...
- Calcheesmo, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2N1C3!
- masfenix, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Sorry, but this side of the world hasn't caught on the concept of futbol yet.
- nvillalobos, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I love seeing stuff like this on digg! The reporter in the first video was pretty obnoxious but mad props to the kid.
- 8ight, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1I agree. Sweet kid. Hope he stays healthy.
- bicyclethief, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Where's Magnus Carlsen?
- marksism, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3More 53d3N74rY
- inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+2Disgusting how parents can do that to their kids.
They'll claim up and down that they had no involvement, but they just wanna avoid the "***** overbearing parent" award.
I mean, it's cool to watch I guess, but if a kid isn't allowed to be a kid, there are consequences to that. - inactive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+3Don't know why you were dugg down, that's absolutely correct.
- Jeffler, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1The move isn't as hard as you'd think. My cousin is terrible at ice hockey, but can do it at 7.
- Duggan360, on 05/15/2008, -0/+180085
- therealrico, on 05/16/2008, -0/+1It was news because supposedly the kid was spotted from his youtube video. Not because of the distance he moved.
- necbone, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1dude, that soccer kid is ***** pro....
- x0rcist, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1Not true at all. Granted if he's 6'+ he's set, but if he's short it's still very possible as long as he can get like a 40" vertical. He's got a dirty handle for any age group.
- murraj2, on 05/15/2008, -2/+3But still not very good at all.
- TinternAbbot, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1The Tennis one was *****.
- vonfook, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1To those who think this kid is good, take a look at this 6-year old kid from Russia at the Bolleteri academy, and he can hit a one-handed backhand also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fss-hSAN9y8
- cwgannon, on 05/15/2008, -0/+1What's odd is how terrible their supporters' songs sound when not sung by the hooligans at Old Trafford.
- Calcheesmo, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1You have no idea if the parents force all of them into it. What if some of them just like what they do? Ever think of that? I mean, kids playing sports, sounds so terrible. When you were a kid you must've hated when your parents made you go outside and play all day. Asinine.
- Dunge, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1No girl, no fun
- DiggLive, on 05/15/2008, -1/+1If you're comparing it to an Olympic athlete or naturally gifted person, then yes. I don't have to be in the top _% to be happy about an accomplishment.
- Barackalypse, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0The question is, can any of them compete with me by going their first 31 years of life without any surgical repairs to their bodies? My guess is every single one of these kids will have their knee's or some other part of them surgically repaired because of injuries they sustain. Some of them will probably spend the rest of their lives after sports with physical pain related to the stresses they are experiencing. Also, I bet my childhood was a lot happier and more well rounded than theirs. A single injury can end them before they even get started and thus waste much of the time they spent practicing instead of playing with friends and learning about the real world.
- zephyr226, on 05/15/2008, -0/+0Actually being in sports or any extracurricular activity can help them academically because they have to pass to play.
