- stufflebean, on 06/16/2009, -1/+31There is some weird ***** on Digg at this hour...
I'm going to bed. - lekahe, on 06/16/2009, -2/+25This was the Russian championship! Wait for the World championships in Finland in August :)
- namochan, on 06/16/2009, -0/+9Yeah, you're right. It's really weird to sit in a sauna with pants on.
- Hellahulla, on 06/16/2009, -1/+9Finns will wipe the floor with those pussies. They don't even do it right over in Russia.
- Hellahulla, on 06/16/2009, -0/+7Not to mention uncomfortable and dangerous.
- pat0neill, on 06/16/2009, -0/+6gets pretty hot in these rhinos
- Meursault, on 06/16/2009, -1/+7Live 8 A.M. EDT on ESPN 8 (The Ocho!)
- nysus, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4Here's a much more informative video of these kinds of competitions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9rX8mpVZKA&fea ...
- Hellahulla, on 06/16/2009, -0/+4Saunas have quite a low humidity. You're thinking of a steam room. That said modern electric saunas are too dry for my liking and give me itchy sinuses. Give me the more traditional wood burning ones, Those you can stay in for hours easily.
Also, the majority of Finns (part of Scandinavia, FYI) go to sauna at least once a week. - chrillen, on 06/16/2009, -2/+6That would be cheating, you're not from Scandinavia are you?
- HappyScrappy, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2They should be doing some chessboxing in there.
- Auraness, on 06/16/2009, -1/+3"Mom! I need the car; I'm going to go train for a World Championship."
- andehbrown, on 06/16/2009, -0/+2It's because Europe is awake and everyone knows they're CRAZY.
- inactive, on 06/16/2009, -1/+2what a terrible idea.
- nysus, on 06/16/2009, -1/+2230F? Wouldn't your sweat boil and cause intense pain?
- MaxIsBored, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1did you not see the temperature?
- opitica, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1mommy!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh2iyPmucFk - vinci, on 06/17/2009, -0/+1and you think "shorter lifespan" wins it?
- Tom151, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1your body is 90% water right? and you don't sweat as much as you think, the humidity in the air instantly sticks to your skin, your hair stays dry for about 5 minutes, same reason you don't get a burns in a sauna. i am Finnish and Ive seen them go up to 140C
- Chrus, on 06/16/2009, -2/+3Saunas are the ducks nuts
- dunker, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1My wild guess is that your sweat (i.e. salty water) doesn't boil at 100°C (212F) but at approx. 120 to 130°C (248F to 266F).
- asgardshill, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1It's only unmanly if the balls touch.
- Haapi, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1It was a woman who won it!
- MMaster23, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1Lol I tought the vacation sauna / herb / heat chamber with the girlfriend was bad. Altough the herbs did hurt your eyes more.
- miquonranger031, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1A.K.A. why the average lifespan of men is shorter.
- neio, on 06/16/2009, -0/+1Dangerous for who? The guy trying to poke your butt hole thru the pants?
- flyers126, on 06/16/2009, -1/+1Grunting at :53. What the hell?
- intheband94, on 06/16/2009, -0/+0woah.....that woman is a ***** REPTILE!
- dissolutionman, on 06/16/2009, -2/+1Yay! Heat strokes!
- crappish, on 06/16/2009, -1/+0Well, Finns do it (northern Finland is part of Scaninavia), Swedes do it, I'm quite sure Norwegians do it, not sure about Danes. But in the end, I would say everyone in Scandinavia does it. (and just to be sure, everyone in sentence like this doesn't mean literally EVERYONE)
- frontaxle, on 06/15/2009, -4/+2Sweaty bag factor = high
- splinter09, on 06/16/2009, -3/+1What is there a World Championship for that?
- opitica, on 06/16/2009, -4/+1that actually sounds incredibly dangerous. the least they could do is keep them hydrated with bottles of water to continuously sweat.
- Krissam, on 06/16/2009, -10/+5Something doesn't add up. They're trying to show their manliness by sitting in a room filled with ½ naked guys to see who can be in there for the longest
Did i get that right? - opitica, on 06/16/2009, -9/+1the ***** does that even mean? does everyone from Scandinavia do this? no, then ***** off. being in a room full of a steam probably won't be that much more pleasurable with a bottle water, but at least you're ensuring their safety.
