- xmod3, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1The Japanese dominate this sport.
- blinky04, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Dugg for title.
- Kinneas12, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1Isn't this one of the few times you use "Yesteryear" to describe it?
- robinthehood, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1I love my yo-yo's. I have around 10 or so. It's an addiction. I started yo-yoing when I quit smoking and haven't stopped.
As an aside, there's no greater feeling than yo-yoing down the street and seeing someone else with one, there's that acknowledgement that you're helping to keep the game alive.
No one plays with yo-yo's anymore. So sad :( - dougrhy, on 08/20/2008, -1/+2I'd like to see the original yo-yo the way it was used by the aborigines of Australia to hunt for game. I heard that Duncan originally discovered it in Australia....
- tm13lke, on 08/20/2008, -0/+1I would have been a world class yo-yoer, but some jackass had to get hit in the face in 4th grade. End of my yo-yo days :[
- abdo, on 08/20/2008, -2/+2I thought yo-yos became extinct...
- jarjarbinx, on 08/20/2008, -1/+1check your sources. Yoyo started in the Philippines. It literally means "yours yours" for the fact that it comes back to you. Duncan just bought a Filipino-owned company that makes the toy and made it famous.
- GBowski, on 08/20/2008, -0/+0"If that is not enough to demonstrate just how much things have changed for the yo-yo, consider that a title contender from Singapore dislocated his knee during a preliminary round and was taken away in an ambulance."
I would pay money to see that yo-yo trick attempted - inactive, on 08/20/2008, -2/+1Wanna see my magic trick?
- thekquinn, on 08/19/2008, -7/+2There's always a "What will he do next?" in Yo-Yoing.
